The scene begins at a restaurant in Nottingham, England. There we see James and Maverick after finishing their meal, they sit down and wait for the waiter to take their empty plates away so they can get desert.
Maverick: So what you are saying is... You never seen either Harry Potter or Star Trek?
James Raymond: Never seen them.
Maverick: Oh my god...

The scene cuts to an hour later, there Maverick meets up with Hanna at a clothing shop not far from the venue where Xtraction will take place. She hands three shopping bags full of clothes and other stuff to him, which he thinks weigh a ton.
Hanna: Can I have some money?
Maverick: I gave you 300 pounds! Don't tell me you spent it already?!
Hanna: Well, yeah. So, can I?
Maverick: Does it look like I can reach my fucking pockets?
Hanna takes the wallet out of his pocket and searches for money.
Maverick: Careful with that wallet, it's Louis Vutton! That costed a small fortune!
Hanna throws Maverick a dirty look and takes 200 pounds out of it.
Hanna: That should do.
Maverick: Fuck sake, I'm gonna be broke come Night of Champions!
Hanna: You are gonna try and win a title, right?
Maverick: If they give me what I want.
Hanna: Which is?
Maverick: At the moment, Hyperion.
A call comes in on Maverick's phone, it's James.
James Raymond: You need to see this bullshit.
The scene cuts to a few hours later at Maverick's hotel room where they stand at the door and are looking at the floor to find 3 bags of sand
Maverick: Sandbags?
James Raymond: Yep... Looks like it.
Maverick: Why sandbags... Oh.
Hanna: What is it?
Maverick: Oh nothing winks at the camera
James Raymond: Who would leave these there?
Maverick checks the label and sees that it was sent by 'AXW'
Maverick: The same place you work for, dumbass
The scene cuts to a day before Xtraction, in the very same arena where the event is being held.
Maverick: Christian, you talk of mind games? They only just begun! You see there Christian, I am 'The Mercenary'. I am whoever you want to call me. I seen your promo shtick... I'm the major prick? Oh, I'm not the major but the Admiral! You see the fire in my eyes and what do i see in yours? Nothing. You have nothing. Swann was just a nothing, he handed you that win and you know it, I will burn you to the ground and stomp on your ashes. You call your self the Livewire, well... I'll cut it and take you out. The only thing louder than life is your head hitting the steel cage. You think the mind games are only beginning? Ha, Game Over.
