BIOGRAPHY
He immigrated to the United States of America with his parents at the age of 6. Originally from Juarez, Mexico, his parents, like so many that lived in Mexico, wanted a better life for themselves and their children and so were quick to seize the opportunity to leave when the occasion presented itself.
Like many immigrant children, he learned most of his early English by watching television. In particular, he developed a fondness for Saturday morning wrestling. His parents, recognizing this as an opportunity, began encouraging their son to use what little money they had to attend the shows in the local area as way that provided him with ample motivation to integrate with his new country.
While watching wrestling certainly provided ample motivation for him to integrate, they also provided him with an escape from the difficulties of being the youngest of five children in an immigrant household struggling to make ends meet. Wrestling shows and the colourful characters that populated their shows became a welcome refuge into which he often retreated when the trials of mundane life became too much for him.
As a child he dreamed of becoming a wrestler to represent Mexico as the American promotions seemed to play off of stereotypes and he didn't like that. At school he enrolled in the Amateur Wrestling classes where he found contacts that got him involved with Professional Wrestlers. They soon noticed that he actually had some natural abilities and began to train him. He made his debut at a show for the wrestling school a few months later and has been competing on the Independent circuit around the world ever since.
Whilst in Mexico he disappeared and the police believed he had fallen in with the wrong crowd. Soon after the dark Luchador Guardián del Infierno appeared on the scene.

ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION:
The Big Screen comes to life with just static. The static seems to zoom back, revealing water. The picture switches again. A figure stands upon a pyramid, its face shrouded by a Jade mask. It points accusingly, not towards the screen, but at something unseen off to one side. A victim lays on an altar at the top of the pyramid.
On the screen is a close up of an eye. The eye blinks once, twice. Suddenly the lights go out. Suddenly the screen seems to clear, what looks like the moon appears on it. Chanting begins from what seems nowhere.
The stone of the pyramid, black with the blood of thousands of victims. The Priest stood, arms raised to the skies. His shining knife struck deep into the victim who was wearing a mask. The priest held the beating heart of the victim in his hand, blood spurting from the severed aorta. The organ emptied itself on the altar.
The screen next becomes a twitching, undulating impenetrable sea of the darkness.
Lightning reached from the heavens and struck the base if the pyramid, then walked its way up to the altar on which the victim lay, his chest open to the skies. It struck again, enveloping the top of the pyramid and all upon it in a crackling green inferno, the main bolt centring on the victim’s body, the electrics shocks sending his flesh into uncontrolled fits of jerking. The priest stood frozen.
The arena drops into darkness as this weird movie is playing out on the big screen. Suddenly pyros explode in front of the big screen, as the fans literally jump from the shock.
RING ANNOUNCER: " Hailing from Juarez, Mexico; on his way to the ring, the Scion of Huitzilopochtli, it is the dark Luchador, Guardián del Infierno!"
A burning phosphorescence enveloped the sacrificial stone. The priest jade mask glowed and seemed to throw out rays of emerald light. He held the still-beating heart in his hand. It was throbbing and moving as if trying to get away, twisting in his grip, slippery and bloody. The knife dropped from the priest’s grasp.
The roving arm of the overhead camera picks out people in the crowd. As they realize there on the screen they hold the signs higher. Blue strobes cut around the arena as red smoke billows from underneath the grating on the ramp way.
The victim on the screen, his body enveloped in the green fire of the sea, stood and took his own beating heart out of the priest’s hand and held it above his head.
Stood at the top of the ramp way is a masked monster criss-crossed from head to toe with the scars of a thousand battles. He raises his arms above his head in an age-old gesture of defiance and supremacy as phosphorus flames blast in twin columns to the heavens behind him. "Cascabel" by Chingon starts blaring out.
It is Guardián del Infierno. He slowly walks towards the ring ignoring the boos from the crowd. Behind him is Maria. He passes a camera and stops and looks directly into the lens.
He then slowly steps up the ring steps; step after step, walking with such a purpose. As he places his foot on the ring apron he immediately follows up by thrusting his opposite leg through the ropes, as he lunges into the ring.
Looking around momentarily, he mounts the turnbuckle adjacent to the stairs, resting his left foot on the top rope. With a brief look from side to side, he lowers his hood and gazes around the facility, soaking in the numerous reactions from the crowd. Upon listening to their calls he hops down into the ring and takes off his hoodie and then hands it to ring crew.
