Angles of Sakura Press Conference

The press conference opens up with a long table in front of a backdrop with the twitter logo, SSS logo and XHF logo among other companies and sponsors logos on it. There are seven chairs set behind the tables with media and press just behind the cameras filming now. In the middle chair with a contract in front of her on the table sits Emi Sakata, the CEO and founder of Sakura Shoujo Stampede. To her right are the Angels of Sakura, Skyland Paradise. To her left is both challengers, Velocity 54* as well as Momoko Honda and Nikko Nakata. We now await their opening statements before going on to questions.

Kaya sits in her chair dressed in a baggy pair of zubaz pants, a Rivera Steak House bomber jacket and a pair of aviator glasses over her eyes, a style made famous in Japan by gaijin wrestlers in the 70's and 80's. Not usually Kaya's style but for the occasion, it seemed to be a homage of sorts to the Americans who have come before her to wrestle in the land of the rising sun. Kaya is the first to take to the microphone, swirling her wrist as she holds it as she contemplates her words. "When Ash and I arrived in Sakura Shoujo Stampede, we made a promise to each other that we would make the best of the opportunity we have been given. We came here with one goal in mind; to be the best female tag team on the planet. No other country in the world values the sport of female wrestling and the long lineage of greatness that it has than Japan, so we knew if we wanted to make that name for ourselves we were going to have to do it here. And we love Japan and all it has given us, it is what we grew up with as a byproduct. Dragon Ball sparked the fighting spirit inside of me at a young age that made me want to be the worlds strongest, Ash was raised on Sailor Moon and it's inspiration to be a strong woman in her own right. It is what Japan gave to the west that not only brought us joy as children, but brought us together all these years later. We love the culture, we live in this country and we love every minute that we do because we don't feel like foreigners, we feel right at home." Kaya wraps an arm over the shoulder of Ashlyn, embracing her best friend before continuing. "And now, we've got a chance to prove to the entire world what we already know; that we are one of the best tag teams in the world. Skyland Paradise are sitting on top of the world for the moment, but the hourglass is running out on your time holding the gold that proves that. It's Velocity 54*'s time, and we're going to make the most of it and bring home the Angels of Sakura Championships." Kaya calms places the microphone back into it's hulster, bumping fists with Ashlyn as she relaxes in her seat.
