Grand Kanyon (An Anti-KYon Campaign); Debate 2: Family Problems - A Death Trap RP
*The lights go black as blue and red strobes circle the arena. The speakers blast DT whispering, Do you feel trapped? The Xtremetron flashes: One of a Kind. The opening riffs of "Deny Me" by SOiL blare through the speakers. The tron shows a loop of assorted clips with DT walking the ramp, taunting in the ring, speaking on the mic from his promos, and the text Death Trap! in red bubble letters bleeding off the screen.
"Tell me does your pride bleed when you see me succeed? Is that the gist of your story? Now you had best get used to it Cause I ain't about to quit, And I'm just now getting started."
Death Trap steps out onto the ramp in his Death Trap Feelin Trapped? shirt, a necklace, trademark black bowl cap, and black shades. He has on his black leather pants, black boots, and black wristbands. He hops from left leg to right and back twice and laughs evilly. He cracks his neck and steps forward onto the ramp. He throws a left jab right hook and then a big front kick at the air in front of him, each move setting off a pyrotechnic eruption. He walks to the crowd and stretches on the barricade as the chorus rings out along with verse 2.
"Shame me, claim me or deceive me. You grow sick every time you hear me say believe me. Every time I get one foot up You want to tear it down. You deny me! Deceiver! Every time I get one foot up you tear it down, knock it down, tear it down. Believer! Deny me! I feel your hand on my throat As well as the knife in my back, And the whole time you keep smiling. What is your reason for this? Why won't your hate just quit? Life would better if you weren't struggling"
Death Trap slowly walks down the ramp cracking his knuckles and randomly throwing punches every so often at random fans but stops right before he hits them. The tron shows in big bold green letters "Final Judgment will be passed!" as a fireball comes forward and hits and scatters the letters and the screen burns from the center out into a series of clips including one of the X*Crown title match ending in the Final Judgment and DT raising the belt over his head, one of him sending Harry through the brick wall, one of him tossing Reeshi from the Annihilation Complex, and one of his win over Kanyon for the Phoenix Title however most of the clips are of old ECF victories and it freezes on DT defeating Hardcore Harry and holding up the ECF Title. It zooms in on the ECF Title and lights up saying The legend continues! The lights brighten. He walks to the ring and takes off the hat. He tosses the hat onto the timekeepers table. He slides into the ring and stretches on the ropes as he did before on the barricade. He pulls of the shirt, shades, and necklace and rolls them out of the ring. He gets in the center of the ring and does another jab, hook, kick combo and stretches his arms as the crowd boos. He leaps to the middle rope. He looks out over the crowd and then flips them off. He laughs evilly and raises his arms in a cross. He leaps to the center of the ring and looks off to one side as the tron flashes his picture.
"(Believer!) What's wrong with your world? Doesn't taste the same as mine. Aren't the shades the same as mine? Pain, Agony, Regret, Fear; Just dreams whisked away, taken away. So now does your pride still bleed Every time that I succeed? Now that you know that I'll keep trying, Can your weak mind digest All that I'm feeding it?"
He walks to the back of the ring near the timekeepers table and leans on the ropes, arms crossed. He grabs a mic and begins to speak*
: It is that time again. It is once again time to look deeply into the man we all know as Chris Kanyon. If you all recall the last time we delved into this enigma of a woman ... er ... wrestler ... we spoke about his farsical comedic attempt at a "corporation". If you recall I was able to dig up the dirt on just the type of people Kanyon hired. The question at hand is why would he surround himself with the amazing incompetance that he has. Well there is a multitude of reasons. First and foremost is his own incompetance and inability to decide who is a worthy partner. After all Kanyon isn't the brightest light in the grid. He's a few tacos short of a combination platter. He's a bit lacking in the brain department. But alas ... poor Kanyon isn't THAT braindead. And he did manage to make up for something. Reason 2: They are not for the good of all but for getting Kanyon whatever the hell his bitchy moaning decrees he deserves! Have you heard him lately? *in a whiny voice* "I deserve to be commissioner for my great contributions" "I want a cookie" "No nachos" "Beat down DT cuz I don't like how he's better than me in EVERY WAY SHAPE AND FORM!" *normal again* Geez the guy bitches more than my ex-wife during her period when she's stuck at my mother's house eating Italian food that she hates!*laughs from crowd*
: But reason 3: each member has a unique talent that Kanyon doesn't have. GQ has fashion ... and gay ... sense. Bass had brute strength. Obsidian has technical skills. La Parka can speak Spanish, make plans, and dance. Jill is an excellent study, record keeper, and hell she is HOT! *he coughs under his breath to regain the integrity of his argument* And Kanyon has no skill in ring. But his newest member of KI is the theme of this debate. This member has the same quality as Chris ... in that he is absolutely insane and only cares about getting what he wants. This man replaced Bass as the brute strength and mindless violence on KI. But most importantly this man is Curtis ... KANYON! Chris's blood brother.*crowd seems out of it as they knew all of that*
: Well let's take a closer look at this "Curtisious Kanyonis" er ... Curtis Kanyon. I think you'll find that all the Kanyon's share some very undesirable traits to have as a person in power. The most important ones are greed, avarice, malice, and insanity. Lust helps too. Greed. Have you taken a look at the Brothers Kanyon lately? Have you noticed a theme within their exploits. Both of them are totally obsessed over a goal and not in the good way. They are willing to do anything to gain what they think they want and deserve. Kanyon wants to be commissioner. Chris went out of his way to slander a good man in James Mueller. He took steps to steal his prize away from Mueller and give it to himself. He was so greedy that he caused poor Jimmy Mueller to run away and now he has found God and lost his malicious edge ... perhaps a good thing in the long run but he may have just driven the poor New Shit into becoming the New Jeremy Lewis which is total crpa and you don't want to be. All because he couldn't control his greed. It wasn't may the more qualified man win, it was may Christopher Ricky Ricardo Kanyon win! It runs in the family. Have you all seen Curtis. He has gone to great lengths to obtain the Hardcore title ... he has tried to assault, injure and almost kill the champ. He has tried to control the whole division out of his own greed. And lust ... lust helps his greed. Since the champ is Tara, a woman.*boos from the crowd*
: Damn right, that's another trait that seems to run in the Kanyon genepool, sexism. Now Tara is a great competitor and one hot momma ... literally ... and Curtis has no right to try and kill her because she is a woman with a belt. He probably wants you all to believe he wants the belt that bad but he really just doesn't want to see equality! He like many XHF fighters would rather it be male dominated! That's not right! Curt is a bad influence on XHF itself. He is very negative and violent and shows real signs of being a psychopathic serial injurer! But it is his insanity and lust for hurting that really sets him apart from most fighters, ... save his brother ...*he pauses as a scene shows on the tron*

Curtis even tried to attack La Parka for singing. He wants to sex up and maim poor Tara. Curtis is a loose cannon, a loose Kanyon! He beat up a guy for getting something from the vending machine! He hits people randomly to feel good. That's not security that's bullying and that's frowned upon by society, NOT MONGO OR KANYON INC! These people need values. But that's not the worst thing. Kanyon's whole family is a mess. Well at least through THAT mother.*shocked reaction from the crowd*

*DT gives him a chop and he collapses to the same fate as Burt.*

Breakdown!*Death Trap laughs evilly into the mic before flipping it over his head out of the ring. He raises his arms in a cross as the chorus of Deny Me hits. He rolls out of the ring and puts his shirt and necklace on. He puts the shades in his hat then puts the hat on his head. He flips off the timekeeper before turning to go up the ramp. The tron rolls another loop of clips of DT exiting the arena, in his corvette, giving the cross over his head, and the text Judgment has been passed. DT gets to the top of the ramp and stops. He looks over his shoulder at the arena, shakes his head and exits. *
