Almost time for Global Dominance and "The Family Man" is still just enjoying the time with his family and the current position of his with Ascension Wrestling Federation as Chief Icon Remover. Prestige 21 was a major success as Maverick continues his losing streak and causing the Icons to lose momentum, yet Jack Diamond the leader of the Icons is still on an amazing winning streak. Even though The Family Man wasn't on the card for Prestige 21, he has been keeping track of the current situations with the AWF and the XHF Network.
The Ray children are all in school now as the twins have started their first week of Headstart. So the Danny Ray and his wife Amanda have finally gotten time to themselves during the day. Amanda can be seen laying on the couch taking a well-deserved nap after a summer of taking care of four rowdy children, as The Family Man watches the XHF Network on Demand.
The Family Man is enjoying the encore presentation of Prestige 21, as he finishes the segment with Chris Card talking crap again to the current XCrown Champion Jack Diamond. The announcement for the upcoming AWF pay per view "Fired Up" comes on as he sits there he realizes that this would be his chance for a shot at Bobby Barratt the second in command of the Icons. A chance to eliminate and remove a big deal and problem for AWF.
He quickly pulls out his phone and sends a message to Terry Bradshaw stating his intentions. As he sits there he looks over at his wife with a smile on his face can't help but smile at a beauty like her. He hears the ring announcer begin to announce the next match so he turns to watch it. It's the Main event Seth Dillinger and Maverick. Maverick the Icon who he has three career wins over, yet can't get any respect from. While watching the show he begins to think about how he can get a bit of respect throughout the XHF Network and showcase AWF and realizes he can simply do it by giving his all and beating Mecha Gold-Bear III at Global Dominance on September 1.
The Family Man figures since the pay per view is now over and the children are still at school and the wife is still napping that he would get on the computer and check his notifications for AWF. Almost immediately after logging in he gets bombarded with several hundred notifications. He begins to look through them when he comes across one marked "Take A look A Global Threat!!!" he opens it up to see a video of Mecha Gold-Bear III and his crew talking about him and his family. But it left The Family Man a bit confused but either way Danny Ray figured he would send a short reply to Mecha Gold-Bear III and let him know he received the message.
Danny Ray - Mecha Gold-Bear III, I received your message like I said before when I accepted your challenge I don't know too much about you. But you know what you seem to be very genuine so if you want to hug me come on over and give me a hug buddy. You know what everyone needs a hug every now and then even big metal bears. "
Danny Ray - " We may be opponents at Global Dominance but that does not mean we are enemies, we could be friends after our match. Heck Mecha Gold-Bear III we could be friends now. How about you come on over for dinner and enjoy a good old fashioned home cooked meal and some quality family time with me and the rest of the Ray family. Just let me know what you like to eat and we will have it. "
The Family Man leans back on the cushions of the recliner as he speaks to his opponent for Global Dominance. He seems extremely relaxed almost as if he's just having another conversation with a family member.
Danny Ray - " I'm sure we will have a great time and I know my boys will love to meet you, they are big wrestling fans and my son Thomas loves everything to do with science and robots so meeting you would be the most amazing time ever for him. "
Danny Ray - " Mecha Gold-Bear III even though we are not enemies and we have nothing personal against each other. I will not lay down in our match or go easy on you. But with that said I will not try to hurt you or end your career or cheat either. I may not be the greatest or even very good compared to most but I do have ethics and morals. "
Danny Ray - " I will step into that ring with you and everyone else and always give a hundred percent and that's all I can do. I want to teach my kids how to do things the right way and I want to be a positive role model for them. "
Amanda Ray starts to stir a bit as she rolls over, turning the other way on the couch.
Danny Ray - " I believe, by what I have been able to tell, you seem to be a good guy too and positive role model for the younger generation too. So let's go out there, have a great match, give our all and give these fans a match to remember. "
Danny Ray - " Mecha Gold-Bear III, after our match we could be friends. Just think about that, we could be friends. "
The Family Man leans back a little more as he begins to yawn as he's been up since three this morning and it's been a long day. He starts to stretch as he speaks again.
Danny Ray - " Well friend I will cut this short, and remember my offer still stands. Let me know if you want to come over have dinner with me and the rest of the Ray family. "
The Family Man begins to smile as he stands up.
Danny Ray - " WE COULD BE FRIENDS!!! "
As he finishes his last statement he shuts down the computer and walks over next to his wife on the couch and lays down in front of it and closes his eyes.
: 'Tis no dream my good man! And I do mean good. For you see, we are real!
: Wooooop!
