Maverick has claimed to Jack he is Unkillable, Unstoppable and Unbeatable.
But is he telling the truth? Can Jack Diamond actually beat the one who claims to be unbeatable? Time... will tell.

The scene opens up with Maverick asleep in bed, his room is a mess like a bomb has been dropped and all his clothes are the shrapnel. The alarm has been ringing for the last fifteen minutes, snooze after snooze after snooze. The alarm rings again. Maverick darts up and throws the alarm off the dresser beside his bed and to his wall, breaking into pieces.
Maverick: Fucking clock! Wish my life was just that one bit easy. If I could, I would wish it all away.
He sits up and puts on a shirt, he stands up and does some stretches before realizing his room is in a bad state. Maverick just face-palms at the realization. He knows he was drinking last night, and his room was already like that. The glass of water? Those were for his sleeping pills. But, not a single bit to stutter in his speech, it's not slurred or anything. He wasn't completely drunk, just a small bit intoxicated. Why was he drinking? He drinks to forget. To forget he's the reason that The Icons are not looking strong, that he's the reason The Icons are looking like jokes. He's the reason the whole The Icons Are Fine thing was around for months, he started The New Age Killers because he wanted the attention on him so he can finally tell Bobby and Jack who he thought was the problem with The Icons... Brad Swann. But, after all these months, he realizes he is the problem.

Time Unknown
The scene fades into a flashback, back to April of this year. We see Maverick backstage at The Legion, the show's over. Everyone is packing up and heading home. Bobby walks past, not acknowledging Maverick as he walks by and heads for his Lamborghini Diablo. Brad just walks off into the night and James drives off in his Uber. Then, Jack comes walking along. Maverick grabs Jack's arm as he walks past and Jack looks at Maverick with more disgust on his face than before.
Maverick: What the fuck are you trying to pull out there? It's always about fucking you!
Jack Diamond: Listen here, you should be thanking me for handing you that win. Because, if I wasn't out there, Bobby would have you ripped to shreds!
Maverick: Jack! I'm not the same kid you saw in ICW! I have grown and adapted. I'm ten times fucking better than what I was in ICW, I don't need your fucking help!
Jack Diamond: You remember those words, Mav. They might come back to bite you on the ass.

Seth Dillinger vs Maverick for the AWF State of Ohio Championship in a Ladder Match
The scene cuts out and comes back during the astonishing match between Dillinger and Maverick, Maverick has near killed himself with a fall quite like what he took at AWF UCK, landing on top of Seth. Fans have jumped out of their seat, everyone on their feet, not one person can believe what they have just witnessed. Even Jason and Jimmie Justice, Bobby Barratt and Jack Diamond are in complete shock. With B.R.O helping Seth gain consciousness, Icons are there for Maverick. Maverick is struggling to get to his feet, both Barratt and Diamond show Maverick the gold they hold, but Maverick is still dazed from the fall.
Jack Diamond: This is ours, go get yours! You can do it!
The pain is too much for Maverick, but, this is his last hope. Last chance. He needs this win. Either win tonight or attempt to beat Jack at Global Dominance, he accepts his fate and chooses to win tonight. The sooner, the better. Eyes closed, clutching his back, in pure agony.
Jack Diamond: MAV! GET UP! THIS IS WHAT WE HOLD, GO GET YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP BACK!
Maverick finally opens his eyes, The X*Crown and The AWF Prestige Championships right in front of him, he looks high up, there hangs The State of Ohio Championship. Bobby is pointing to the State of Ohio Championship.
Bobby Barratt: This is it, Mav! Go ge- Oh shit. Quickly, get up, Seth's moving. Quick, Mav!
Maverick turns his head to find Seth Dillinger getting to his feet. Maverick grabs the knee of Jack and uses it as leverage, but the Jack backs away from Maverick.
Maverick: What the fuck, man!
Jack Diamond: You don't need me to get on your own two feet. Remember. You're an Icon.
Maverick, with all he has left in him, gets back to his feet. Near a cripple, but standing. Then the scene cuts to black. The scene opens up backstage, Maverick laying down on his stomach with an ice pack on the lower section of his back. Jack and Bobby stand around him, looking down at Maverick.
Bobby Barratt: How is your back now?
Maverick: Sore. In pain. I'm broke up.
Jack Diamond: Mav, has anyone told you how fucked up in the head you are? No sane person would do the things you did out there.
Maverick: I done what I done. I did what I did. Put the whole AWF on fucking notice, I'm not to be messed with. Even when I fucking lose.
Bobby Barratt: X*Crown next, Mav. Think you can win? Or even get anywhere close?
Maverick looks up at Jack, with The X*Crown resting on his shoulder.
Maverick: I'll keep my opinions to myself.

4:56 P.M
The scene opens up in a warehouse in Western California, inside the warehouse, and under the spotlight is a ladder. The camera moves closer to the ladder and zooms in on the first rung which holds a photo of Maverick in his professional Wrestling debut match.
"There is a lot to be said about success. Some would define success by the accomplishments one has for a particular goal. Others will view the belongings or profits an individual accumulates over a set amount of time as success or failure."
Moving up to the second rung is another photo, this time it was Chaos Kid and Maverick sharing the ring together. That night, at Midsummer's Night Massacre, Chaos beat Maverick to retain his ICW Ironman Championship.
"It's interesting to me that success is often described using metaphors. One popular comparison is to climbing a ladder."
The next rung holds the ICW Tag Team Championship, the title that Maverick and Jack won before joining AWF. The first ever title Maverick officially won.
"The expression of climbing the ladder to success has always intrigued me. The simple act of climbing a ladder, an act that realistically us reserved for those blue collar workers who work very hard for very little recognition in return. Painters, construction workers, minimum wage masters that are dedicated to their craft... yet we use their action as a metaphor to our success."
Upon the fourth rung, is the ring gear Maverick wore on his debut in the XHF at last year's End of Days PPV, it was Night Three and he went into a Tag match with 12-14 other competitors. Although eliminated early on, he kept himself alive in the XHF. To see where his career takes him next.
"Billion dollar corporations use this to describe the goals of its employees "climb" up the corporate structure. We all yearn to make it to the top of our "ladder" no matter what it relates to. Job promotion, riches, making it to the top of the sports world... they are all ladders. While everyone keeps climbing, keeps reaching... very few ever reach the top. The unobtainable brass ring so to speak."
On the fifth rung, was another photo. At Supremacy, The Icons brought in Brad Swann. This photo was a group photo of Bobby, Jack, Maverick, Brad, Cazador and Chaos, all before The Fall of The Icons. The sixth rung holds the old State of Ohio Championship, this was the first singles belt Maverick won and he wore the belt around like he was the real King. And then, last but not least, upon the seventh rung of the ladder. Sits someone wearing Louis Vuitton shoes and he wears a white three-piece suit. The camera zooms out to reveal it to be The Iconic Prince himself, Maverick. He checks his pocket watch and slips it back into his suit pocket.
Maverick: Those words seem ever so familiar, Jack. You bring up a ladder to eventual success like it's nothing to you. Fair enough, I'm not a decorated champion. I'm not everyone's first pick to be a Main Event star, but I am good at one thing. Intimidation. I can somehow, intimidate people. What happened to Jason Justice after he lost the State of Ohio Championship to me? He was never seen in AWF until I lost that title. What happened to Seth when I surprised everyone at Clash of the Icons? I put fear in him.
Maverick smirks but realizes that he never won back the State of Ohio Championship, he's forced to go against one of his best friends to even show he's got worth in him still.
Maverick: I had my taste of being at the top of the ladder. When I won the State of Ohio Championship, I was the top guy in The Icons. No one was a champion, I was the only one holding the gold. I held that title for 61 days but I have done more with that belt than what both Seth and Jason ever did with it. Now, Jack. You can't say you've done things with the X*Crown that brought it to a higher standard, can you? As far as I can think, you brought it to a low standard. You handed those 18 titles to someone who had their grave ready, he was ready to jump right in that grave once the bell rang for the end of the match. And you made sure all 18 titles were going to be buried with him.
Maverick just smiles, like it's a joke.
Maverick: Jack, all those championships on your proverbial ladder of success they mean something to you, to your career. As you can see on my proverbial ladder of success, it's a bit different. Very little championships but... memories. You know Jack, you don't need to hold championships, trophies, awards, whatever has the slightest bit of gold on them. The memories shows yourself, how far you've come. From first ever match to your first championship match, to first title win, to friendship. There's many layers to the memories. You don't need to plague your walls with championships to know you are amazing, you need to look back at all the memories and say "I had such an amazing time" If you want a helping hand looking back at memories, I shall help you!
Maverick looks down his ladder and moves down a rung and picks up the old State of Ohio Championship.
Maverick: Ah, the State of Ohio Championship. These are fresh and recent memories, but still... they are memories. I remember challenging for you, getting the all clear from Ziko to run in on Jason Justice, jumping Jason after his match with Smelly Angel. Oh, fun times. Then, I beat him. I remember that night. So, so clear. I was in such a shocked state when I came to the realisation that I beat him, I never thought I would do it. Of course, I had help. Thank you so much, Bobby. Come to thinking, Bobby carried me to win that championship. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be champion. I walked into AXW shows, Global PPVs as the champion and I was damn proud of it. My finest moment as champion was beating MGK, not one person expected it to happen. Not one person. Of course, my short reign was stopped in a bloody massacre. Seth Dillinger, the guy that I underestimated. My biggest fucking mistake was to underestimate him, but he gave me... the best rivalry I ever had. Blood, Sweat and Tears were poured out in them matches. With every match after Prestige Seventeen when I dropped the title to Seth, each rematch I had were wars. More bloodbath massacres. The best matches of my career. His recent showing at Prestge Twenty One was where I pushed my own body to limits I didn't know it could go. Seth, if you are reading this. Thank you so much for the memories and the wars, shall we try to pick up an XHF Award for the best rivalry? I think we should.
He places the Championship down gently, Maverick moves down another rung to the Icon group photo, he holds it in his hands and places his fingers on the heads of Brad, Chaos and Cazador. Covering their faces to show The Icons of today.
Maverick: This photo, was all of us. Back when The Icons were starting to crumble. Cazador, just wasn't showing up to group meetings. Chaos, didn't want to share the Icon name with me. Brad, was only starting but we found out he was our greatest weakness. We went through wars, between myself and James Raymond against Bobby and Brad and Jack was in a team of his own. After it was all said and done, Brad disappeared and it was left with myself, Jack and Bobby. We ran things like it should be. We started a whole new Iconic Era. The Icons vs. The World Era. Bobby, now is the AWF Prestige Champion by killing the God inside of James Knox. Jack, in his second reign as X*Crown Champion after dethroning Rob Arnold and surpassing everyone in the Four Ring Circus. Then, there's myself, former State of Ohio Champion. At this moment, we are more of a force not to be reckoned with than we were before. That's what makes us a strong team, having the force to take on any newcomers. We may have HELLBOUND at Final Frontier on September 14th, but they made the silly mistake. They wanted us, they're gonna get us.
He throws the picture away, just like a frisbee, sending it flying and smashing off camera. Maverick once again drops down a rung to his ring gear on his debut to the XHF, at End of Days Night Three last year.
Maverick: End of Days. We're actually coming up to the event soon! The finals taking place in Croke Park! Dublin, Ireland! This would be the first time I wrestled in the Emerald Isle, if I make it on the card. But, that night... End of Days 2017. This... Specialised Tag Team Elimination Match. I made my debut that match, so did Bobby and Caz and even Danny Ray. Coming into such a match, I didn't know what to expect. I was teaming with some intake at a monster! Like there isn't enough running around the XHF already. It may be a short memory but if it wasn't for this night. I wouldn't be where I am now.
He drops the ring gear into a barrel beside the ladder and reaches into his pocket for a pack of matches, he lights one up and throws it into the barrel. The flames shoot up and we are left to consume that it's been burned. Maverick jumps down to the floor and stands in front of the ladder, he reaches to the third rung up and picks up one of the ICW Tag Team Championships.
Maverick: Jack, this title means something to me. It means that I will never escape the shadow of you. We've talked about this championship, but it holds a special place in my career. My first championship, like, everyone remembers their first championship! I don't know what your's was, Jack. I would like to know though. I remember this night clearly, it was the start to our bond.
The scene fades out to a flashback to that night...

5:23 A.M
...Jack and Maverick arrive at the John Lennon Airport in Liverpool. Jack pulls up at the front doors to one of the terminals, Maverick hops out of the Range Rover and grabs his bags. Jack also gets out and leans on his pride and joy of his car.
Maverick: I can't thank you any more, Jack. You're amazing!
Jack Diamond: I did what I had to do. Now, hurry on. You'll miss your flight.
Maverick: Jack, one more thing before I go.
Jack Diamond: sigh What is it, Mav?
Maverick hesitates to say something, he moves closer and closer to Jack and places his lips to Jack's ear. He whispers...
Maverick: One day... I'll prove something to you.
He runs inside, Jack, confused over the words, just stands there. The scene cuts back to the present day as Maverick has placed back the ICW Tag Team Championship, the last two pictures... Broken. He looks up to the camera, as it zooms out.
Maverick: Jack. I know, you are nervous for what you are to do to me. Quite frankly, I am too. But, you need to be nervous of what I can do to you. You've seen me snap out of control before, I could do that to you. Jack, I will be there. I will show up. I will face you. One on One. Jack, this will be either the start of something new for The Icons or... The end of The Icons. Put this in your thick skull, Jackie Boy... The Icons... are... Fine.
End Scene.
