In what Maverick thought to be his best night in ICW. Maverick returns to the locker room in a blind rage and wrecks everything in sight, he throws gear bags of many wrestlers including Chaos Kid, Brett Stetson, and Duke Kosloff. As he keeps throwing around gear bags, he stumbles upon the gear bag of Joe Carroll. It's not like any other any gear bag, it has the initials "J.C." in gold etched to bag. Maverick rips the bag open to find a basic three piece suit
Maverick: Of course this fucking dickhead has a suit in his... what the fuck do you call this shit?
Maverick walks out of the room and grabs a metal trash bin and throws Carroll's gear bag in it. He then brings it outside, grabs a bottle of flammable liquid and squirts it into the trash bin.
This needed to be done, About fucking time too.
Maverick lights a match and throws it in the trash bin, the fire starts and a huge flame near blinds him.
As Duke would say, "FEEL THE BURN!" Ha ha ha, he would fucking kill me if he found out I said that. Shite.

Maverick is packing his bags to leave for home. He thinks to himself...
I'd go home, get back to me princess, and relax for a few days.
Maverick is ready to leave and is about to pick his phone up to get a Uber to the airport when his phone rings, its Rieter.
Oh fuck, they found out about me burning about Carroll's bag. Shite.
Hesitant to answer, he finally answers. Rieter gives Maverick the bad news he didn't want to hear. He has to go and do an interview with a radio station tomorrow in Manchester. Maverick hangs up and sighs in disbelief

Fucking Christ! Oh well, it is my first interview for the company. Something to be excited about.

Maverick arrives in the studio and is greeted by BBC presenter Nick Grimshaw.
Nick: Wassup guys, it's Nick Grimshaw, your special guest for BBC Manchester. Today, we have another special guest. He is known as the underdog of British professional wrestling and also known as The Mercenary. He is Maverick.
Maverick: So nice to meet you, Nick. Great to be here
Nick: Of course, you are a professional wrestler. Currently signed with Icon Championship Wrestling. How did you sign up with them?
Maverick: Ah, I heard they are a fast rising wrestling company so, I thought I'll have my try out and got in. Delighted to be there.
Nick: When doing my research with you in ICW, you only had two wins in your name. Why is that?
Maverick: Just the way it turns out, you know? We have brilliant athletes that work there and... They are hard to beat I know that from experience.
Nick: Now, ICW is having their first PPV on English soil with Castle of Glass. Are you booked for the show?
Maverick: Most certainly am indeed, I face the... well, the things I would call him, they aren't suitable for me to say here. But, I go against Joe Carroll in ICW's first Window Pane Match. Along with Castle of Glass, we do have a UK Tour happening starting here in Manchester at the Manchester Stadium. Then, we go to Wigan, and then London, we then move on Birmingham, and finally, we finish in my hometown in Ireland.
Nick: One thing from the start of ICW to now that has changed is the owner, the first person you have said you made a friend of in ICW, Shawn Rossdale, he suddenly passed away a few weeks ago...
Maverick: Yeah, I actually haven't spoken publically about it yet. I don't have any thoughts on it. I know the ICW Shooting Star Champion, Bobby Barratt, is super upset about the death. I'm just gonna say it, he's got to grow a pair of balls and get over it.
Nick: Well, it must have been upsetting as Bobby was Shawn's best friend. Have you been setting your eyes on Jack Diamond, the World Heavyweight Champion?
Maverick: Who doesn't?
Nick: Have any words for the World Champion?
Maverick: I will correct you there. Have any words for whoever is the World Champion
Nick: Well, that works too.
Maverick: I do have some words on both Chaos Kid and Jack Diamond.
I will start with Chaos. Chaos and I had history, only one match but it was a monster of a match for the Ironman Championship. I have given all my respect to him because of that match. He must realize I'm much better than before. I'm more deadly.
Moving on to Jack Diamond, I think that we should have a match. Title match or not, I think that match would be brilliant. Lucas Rieter, get that match sorted soon!
Nick: And I think we have time for one last question...
As Nick is about to ask the question, the lights go off in the studio. The sounds of a table being banged on, heavy breathing and, some equipment being moved. The lights come back on and Maverick is on the ground, beaten up and coughing, trying to catch his breath.
Nick: Security!
Maverick still is laying on the ground but is moving and is sitting up on some radio equipment. A note was left beside Maverick reading
"The light shines brighter as the days go by, your glow will corrupt and will be manipulated when your master discriminates you"
Maverick gets up with the help of security and Nick Grimshaw, Maverick thanks Nick for his time spent doing the interview and leaves. Maverick exits the BBC Manchester building and walks off. He gets another phone call from Lucas Rieter. He thanks Maverick for doing the interview and says he will hopefully sort out these three masked men.
Maverick enters a cab and asks the driver to drive him to the airport...
Taxi Driver: Hey, you're the wrestling guy that was on the radio.
Maverick: Yeah, I am.
Taxi Driver: If you're going the airport, where are your bags?
Maverick: There at home, and that's where I'm heading for a day or two and back here for the event on Tuesday.
Taxi Driver: Fair enough, hope you enjoyed your time here.
Maverick: I have and can't wait to come back

When his girlfriend, Sarah Rogan, thought Maverick would be back today, she was surprised to see a text from Maverick saying he's going to make something known that was on his mind and that he will be back tomorrow
Maverick arrives at ICW's temporary office in London at 11:47 a.m.
He walks to Lucas Rieter's office and knocks on the door.
Rieter: Come in! Maverick. Great interview yesterday...
Maverick: Thats not what im here for.
Rieter: What brings you here then?
Maverick: To speak some sense into you!
Rieter: Who the fuck do you think you are coming into my office and barking orders at me? I'm your boss...
Maverick: Boss, my arse. I have something to say about your booking decisions that I've noticed since I came here.
Rieter: What about them?
Maverick: Jack Diamond and Bobby Barratt. The two top dogs of ICW. And you, Rieter, are shoving them two down ICW fan's throats. You think that they are the only two competitors in ICW that will make the show brilliant if they are involved in one match? It must be the theme because I'm seeing it every time and that is the only thing ICW fans are talking about at the end of the show. They're not talking about, for examples, Duke putting Danny Ray through a flaming table, they're not talking about Maverick beating Steele in a No Holds Barred match. As long as Barratt and Diamond are mixed up at the end of the show, no one gives a shit about what happened before it.
Rieter: Get to the point will you? You're wasting my time here.
Maverick grabs Rieter by the collar and lifts him up off his chair.
Maverick: I'm not done yet.
Maverick then pushes Lucas back into the chair.
Maverick: All I am saying here is, give others a chance. I have taken losses from some of the weakest cunts that walked into ICW, like Danny Ray, oh god my head hurts even thinking that daft bastard beat me with that illegal choke hold. But, wait a minute. You gave me Most Improved Wrestler of the Month, but I've no championship matches. Don't even count the Ironman Championship Number 1 Contenders match against Joe Carroll at Castle of Glass, to me, that doesn't count, I don't give a shit about a retired championship. Are you gonna make me lose more matches before I can think to myself, maybe wrestling wasn't for me, but I will never do that. You know how bad I want that match? Against Jack Diamond? I am willing to put my career on the line to have the match. Title vs. Career. In my hometown in Wexford. If I win, I take the World Heavyweight Championship. If I lose, I'm gone from ICW and you never hear from me again. I can see in your eyes, you're willing to make me leave ICW. I can see it in you. It is your choice now, make the match. But there are risks, you have the risk of a new World Champion who could ruin the belt, or you could lose the best thing that ICW has to offer. Like I said, I'm willing to do it. But, it is up to you. It is in my mind best for business because I know people would pay big money to see matches like that where careers are on the line. Now, if you don't mind im going home to relax for a few days and I will be here for Castle of Glass. Prepare the ambulances that day, I am fucking killing Joe Carroll.
