O P E R A T I O N S - H O W I T A L L W O R K S
Here at LA Underground, we don't want to be just 'another fed' on the XHF Network, or just another fed in general. We want to give you a very fun, engaging experience while also taking very little of your time. You get all the fun, all the power and all the boobs (if we are allowed), and in return you don't have to do much for it. LA Underground is designed to make roleplaying fun and casual, your favourite hangout spot if you will! Please follow me...
...to right here, as I explain the machine that is LA Underground!
L A U N D E R G R O U N D I N A N U T S H E L L
There is no real way to explain LA Underground in a short thirty second pitch. It's home to a wild and wacky fed, with colorful and entertaining characters, comedy and sex appeal. It's home to hardcore and crazy assholes who like death matches, table matches and blood blood blood. It's a breeding crowd for sexual innuendos, over the top action and dark, seedy story lines. Its everything you could imagine from a divey, underground fighting ring in Hollywood, with the grit and grime of Los Angeles.
In theory, LA Underground is a fun and casual place for those who want to flex their storytelling muscles, to pop in a second/ third character that showcases their ability to write fun and weird shit. It's for the busy efedder who isn't ready to give up yet, it's for the younger efedder with extra time on their hands. It's for the pervs who like boobs, the jerks who like blood and the wrestling fans who want to read about something different.

We are a monthly fed, meaning we post live shows once a month. This gives you plenty of breathing room to work on an angle, write a novel or just get your story out.
We are all original characters, meaning no imitations of real life talent. Picture bases aside, we want everyone here to put their personal stamp on the fed.
We are a continuous fed, meaning we have 'dark shows' every Friday night (untelevised/ unseen). This gives you the chance to have characters walk out to the ring, be backstage of a live event, or actually be in the crowd during a promo/ challenge. Every Friday night!
We are run by you, the handlers. You challenge your own opponents, book your own matches and vote on winners. If you do not want to challenge others, call out an opponent, or even vote then just let me know. This is giving the power back to you.
Matches have no rules, unless stated. Think of normal wrestling, but backwards. All matches are no DQ's, weapons friendly, no holds barred. Referee's fight back. Boobs are never blurred out. It's an adult playground!
There is no segmentation, no division of superstars. Guys and gals fight alongside each other, or against one another. In this world of equality and supporting your fellow human being, it matters not who goes through that table. Just so long as you look awesome doing it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last note, and this is direct from your owner; this fed was made for everyone to have fun. Something different than the norm, a bit crazier maybe or just a different form of entertainment. I want each and everyone who signs up to enjoy themselves and if something sucks, or something needs to be changed then please let me know. I am always interest to hear about better ideas or ways to improve, ways to make things better and more enjoyable. My door is always open!
Hugs & Kisses,

Most other efeds assign you to a match by picking who you have been writing about, maybe its done by who the admins think you would feud well with or even tag with. Other times it can be done by request, either by calling someone out in an RP and hoping they see it and reply, or even asking the admin to make the match. It all becomes confusing and troublesome in no time.
...not anymore! With challenges, you decide who you want a match with, by calling them out. Maybe your character walks out to the ring with a microphone in hand and demands 'Character A' to answer them and accept the challenge. Perhaps your character is backstage and watches 'Character B' on screen, so he makes a personal statement into the camera to issue the challenge. Maybe just maybe, its a text message to your opponent of choice calling them a hot turd and that they are going to die!
Whatever what you decide to do it, this is how you get booked. You pick and choose your matches, you can even set the stipulation, or state if you will be doing so as a tag team match. We've all seen the pro's do it so it makes sense we can do it too.
If you don't challenge somebody, or if you don't want to be in a match then consider yourself having the night off. But not challenging people/ replying to challenges means I step in and book your matches; this just gives you the power to write your own records!

As many of us here are veterans to the world of e-fedding, there are also some that are brand new and might not know how to get things going. This is a simply 'how to' to help kick things off. You create an application, put together a profile for a character you love and now it's time to tell the story...but how? I always say to keep things easy- have them grabbing a drink in a bar and telling the bartender how happy/ sad/ angry they are about situation a/ b/ c, and build from there. You have come here to write, so do that. Don't be worried about styles, content or anything in between, just give it a shot and see how it goes. If you are stuck for pointers, not only is my 'door always open', but there are so many other stars here you can learn from too. All it takes is practice!
Another thing that might help out...dark shows. While we all partake on the monthly PPV's, that doesn't mean each other week is dull and quiet. LA Underground actually has a show on every Friday night, which is untelevised and unreported online. This is called a 'dark show' featuring unknown talent and local wannabes, and it's sole purpose is to allow main roster stars to appear on stage or in front of a crowd.
These shows all take place in the same location, the Underground Arena. So if you don't want your RP or challenge to happen in a bar, Starbucks, nail salon or strip club, then you don't have to! Get your character to march out to the ring with a microphone, kick some unknown noobs out of the ring and make your statement! Just make sure to note; dark shows happen every Friday night!

To continue on that, there is one requirement for your characters; activity. I would like to see either a challenge for a match, or a character development promo each month. Just one, not asking for much more. Just to help flesh out the characters. Of course there are no limits, so feel free to tell your story in as little or as many words as you like.
Next up;
J U D G I N G / V O T I N G
Shows take place on the last Sunday of each month, typically about 4 weeks apart form each other. This gives plenty of time to call out an opponent for the next/ following show, write some promotional pieces, maybe just do some character development. Whatever floats your goat! Roughly 10 days out ('bout a week and half mostly) before showtime, I will start to share some of this months RP's in a voting thread.
This allows you to choose who you want to win, and it will be based on three things (in no particular order);
1/ Character Development/ Arc - this means how you developed your story line, how you helped your character evolve and become less one dimensional. Basically how good your story was this month!
2/ Competitive Writing - did you cuss out your opponent? Did you respond to all their insults and brags? Did you tell them how fat their momma was? Good, because it's important to know how fat one's momma truly is!
3/ Content - I'm not looking for a swath of role plays, I'm not looking for 5000 words. I'm looking for good content, where it could be a couple of smaller stories, one big epic role play, a text message chain, a back and forth through the challenges and responses, heck it can even be a segment or supplement for the live show. You will be judged on what you put out each month, so make your work mean something good!
After voting is done and you have cast your two cents, you will get another update. Closing in on showtime there will be a very particular message that is posted by VR...DEADLINE!
This will appear roughly 48 hours before the show goes live, and this means no more posting. No more RPs. No more voting! This gives me roughly two days to finish off matches, add final touches, add flair and hot topics from your RPs and Challenges, pop in some subliminal messages sendmenudes, and just make sure the show is done!
