*The following was posted to Dreadvan's official fansite*
-The video begins with a vertical angle, most assuredly from it being taken with a cellphone. The video as such is grainy and often you can see some viable dropped frames as it was recording. Focused dead center is the little person that regular Dreadvan followers would recognize. He doesn't have his fedora on, but does have that suit, still looking as immaculate as ever, at least from what people can see. He takes a few seconds to make sure the thing is recording before speaking. -
"So fans of Dreadvan, you saw what we had posted to this website yesterday. Originally AXW was recording him to put together a behind the scenes "life of Dreadvan" style documentary where they would follow him around leading up to End of Days. It was part of their merchandising deal as AXW looks to capitalize on the rising success of my good friend."
-The man pulls at his his shirt around the neck area and then loosens his tie a bit. He clears his throat during the process and tries to continue but is seemingly having trouble getting through this.-
"Yet you all seen how that ended. Some, presumably United States government entity, who I would remind you all did not identify themselves, came into the locker room and forcibly kidnapped my friend!"
-He shuts his eyes tightly after saying those words and comes off as visibly wincing as soon as they left his mouth. He tries to continue but the words don't seem to come out. He takes another moment to take a nice deep breath. His eyes now noticeably shinier due to the moisture forming in them.-
"I'm sorry, this is tough. Dreadvan and I have been friends for so many years and despite so many people being jealous of him I'm one of the few people who "got" him. The camera's don't roll when he sits down to eat with the homeless people and helps them finish their plates. They aren't rolling when he takes pictures with terminally sick children for discounted rates. And they sure as hell aren't rolling when he comes over to his friends houses for a midnight snack and chat!"
-The tears now start rolling down his face and he wipes them away with his sleeve. After doing so though he looks a lot more agitated and serious as more of them keep streaming.-
"Forget about all of that though. What I want to address is AXW's extreme lack of security at their events! They let a squad of fully armed men just march right in without a word and caught it all on film! They let him be dragged away like an animal and the only consolation prize we got was to get a copy of the video. One they didn't even have the balls to post themselves! If I didn't know better I would say Dread was set up!
The whole roster is obviously now cautious of demons, and maybe AXW was concerned what would happen to people like Chris Card if they let the demon run loose on such a large stage. It's not a secret they can barely book the venues and maybe they thought Dreadvan would go too far and cause them even more legal trouble. Maybe it was Card himself who paid for this charade, too scared to even step into the ring!
Well if it was you Chris, don't worry, me and my crack team of cyber analysts are using every avenue available to get him back. I mean EVERY one too. He'll be there with bells on ready to take his rage out on anyone who dares stand in his way, as it should be! Let me show you what I mean."
-He begins rising up from his seat, camera angle being shaken willy-nilly. When he finally makes it he looks into the camera with a smile before turning it towards the rest of the room. It begins it's pan from the left where it finds the old woman Betty, complete with poker visor, hunting and pecking at the keyboard very slowly. It continues to a clean cut man wearing a class shirt, wrestling tights, and thick framed glasses clacking away at his own almost ten thousand times a second. Finally it finds it's way to the dog Shadow, wearing his usual aviators panting and staring at the computer screen. The camera then finds it's way a bit too close to the face of it's operator.
The dog suddenly barks however and the little person rushes over as, camera position being disregarded and all the viewers can see is a shot of the floor.-
"What is it boy? You find something?"
-The dog can be heard barking once more as the video feed ends.-
