After an amazing and tough night winning his first match ever in professional wrestling over Maverick, he advances to round two to face Mavericks Icon buddy Bobby Barratt, He just got out of the shower and is now laying on his queen size bed man does he feel like a king laying on such an enormous bed after laying on basically a metal cot for the last decade. His food is sitting on the desk next to the computer as he's so excited and still full of adrenaline it's just pumping through his veins he can't sleep. So he ordered a family size bucket of extra crispy from the Colonel with two sides of mashed potatoes and extra brown gravy and biscuits.
He lays there for a few minutes as he tries to relax a bit but the smell of the food is driving him nuts so he jumps up and heads on over to the desk and begins to devour the chicken and sides. He figures while he is there and since he can't sleep he would type up a letter to his pal "Homie" and mail it out in the morning. "Homie" doesn't really have anyone on the outside and when you're on the inside it's the small things like a letter at mail call or even a five-minute visit or phone call that can make your time so much easier. So as he chows down some of that delicious grub he turns on the computer and heads over to WordPerfect so he can type up a letter.
Hey Homie, Oct 7, 2018
Yo, brother, you missed an awesome night, I finally had my first match at least in professional wrestling. I don't know if you will hear about it or not on the tube but man the End of Days tournament so far has been CRAZY brother. I'm telling you. First off this guy Maverick have to give him a little bit of respect for his wrestling skills he gave me one hell of a match and almost beat me a few times. But it was the thought of coming back there to 'The Walls" and shit that kept me fighting plus the fact that the guy is a dick.
The dude actually had the nerve to look down on me for being in prison, like he hasn't ever done anything in his life wrong or anything that could have gotten him locked up. But someone actually called the State police on me two today and tried to get me arrested before the match I wonder who that was, lol. Anyways Homie, that's the past now it's time to look to the future and the bright side another day of work my brother and the fact right now I am scarfing down some KFC extra crispy, I know I'm such an ass.
Let me tell you about this tournament brother there have been some amazing matches I know you're a veteran wrestling fan and I am going to get you that autograph you asked me about, so don't worry I haven't forgotten about you. I watched this monster of a man he goes every bit of six hundred pounds beat this guy and advance he's a champion in one of the companies here in the tournament and dude when I say he's big I'm talking about old boy over in C-block big yeah the one they call "Tank" that size if not bigger.
Then I saw a match between my opponent his tag team partner and an all-female tag team from a female company I'm telling you it was a bad night for my opponent but them two teams set the place on fire. two of the best teams I have seen brother. You would know, wish you could have seen it I know how you call yourself a "Tag Team Specialist".
That would bring me to the match between my next opponent and a chick who thinks she's some kind of Zombie, I'm telling you Homie main event status. This guy won't be easy not in a wrestling match at least, he's not like this last guy. I don't know if you have heard of him or not but his name is Bobby Barratt they call him the "Prodigy" or something along those lines. I was told he's been a champion pretty much his entire career and tonight I could see why.
You know me Homie I give respect where respect is deserved, but I have no quit in me and I fight until I can't fight anymore.
He leans back as he cracks the knuckles on his fingers, he reaches over grabbing the half-full container of mashed potatoes and the rest of the brown gravy pouring the gravy over the potatoes as he digs right in once again. He smiles as a bit of gravy runs down the corner of his mouth onto his chin. He takes his finger wiping it up as he licks it off his finger and goes back to typing his letter to his friend.
Sorry, brother I have been going on all about me just excited about my first match and the fact that I won tonight, just wish you could have been here brother. So how have you been? Did you get the C-note I sent you? I hope you got it, well you better of got it I sent it about a week and a half ago. Don't worry though since I won tonight that means I get a winners paycheck and I will put another money order in the mail to Jeff City to be put on your books so you can celebrate to brother. I promise every time I party you're going to be able to party. Do you know why Homie, because we are brothers for life and brothers take care of each other?
I know what you're going to do with the money no doubt you're going to buy the stuff to make jailhouse pizza, I can see you now chopping up the summer sausage, jalapenos, crushing the crackers, cheese puffs breaking up the Ramen noodles as you boil your water and heat the chili and cheese up while talking old man Jarvises ear off. Brother, I hope you enjoy yourself and don't sweat it there will be more.
He stops typing long enough to grab the last piece of chicken a lonely thigh he starts tearing the meat off the bone as he eats the extra crispy skin as he does it. He has one biscuit left that he places the chicken meat on and makes a poor man's chicken sandwich and starts munching on it as he takes a drink of his Dr. Pepper fountain soda he got from the local gas station right down the road.
Have you heard anything from the parole board brother? I know before I left you had filed a few appeals and stuff trying to get your case reopened. Let me know something and when I get back to Missouri I will come and see you on visiting day and we can figure something out. Because brother I will help any way I can so if I need to find a lawyer or pay for one to help you I will your family that's what we do.
Okay, okay brother let's get back to tonight so man this thing was off the chain I'm telling you it was held in some kind of Holy Land amusement park a bit freaky if you believe in that stuff especially when you're trying to do harm to someone, you know. They actually had a tag team match where the losers were excommunicated. Get this one of the teams was called "Hellbound" can you believe that and I think that their opponents sent them to Hell. It was an awesome match though Homie it really was, man, I am learning about who's who while I'm watching these matches.
Now more about this next opponent of mine Bobby Barratt the dude is tough, to say the least, he reminds me of that UFC fighter the one who's always in the news for something oh yeah Conor McGregor. Dude has skills in the ring and an attitude outside the ring that may sometimes overshadow that talent. Now don't get me wrong brother I haven't met the guy so I don't know for sure just going by what I have heard around the Network. You know how people talk about other, half the time you can't believe a word of it, besides whats our motto bro where are we from? "The SHOW ME STATE!!!
Yeah, I will enjoy facing this guy man he will test me see if this is the right kind of job for me, but for real any job is the right kind of job, you know what I'm saying? I have a meeting with my Parole officer in a couple days, yeah she's coming up here and meeting me at the police station to do my monthly meeting. Sounds like fun huh.
I'm hoping with this match against this guy Bobby Barratt that the paycheck will be bigger than the one I got tonight. Especially since it's a second-round match more important and stuff you figure higher pay and everything. Man, I enjoyed tonight the rush from the match was so freaking exhilarating. It was like being high on that chronic for the first time how you feel when the chronic starts to kick in and everything just starts to just loosen you up and relax you.
Homie that was me tonight I hadn't felt that way in over a decade brother, man it was like I was high again and I haven't touched the chronic since I was seventeen. Damn, tonight was just amazing brother I'm going to come to see you when I'm back in town and keep an eye out on your account because I will be sending you a few more bucks every chance I get.
He stands up to stretch as he's starting to stiffen up from the pounding he took by Maverick earlier tonight. His body isn't used to that type of action as he hasn't had to go that long before. As the prison fights are normally a one round two-minute fight for him a quick knock out or submission and he's beat his opponent. But he's learning wrestling is a completely different animal. He walks over to the sink turning on the cold water and splashes a handful of the cold water on his face before turning it back off. He looks into the mirror as he dries his face he can see the cut on his head. He walks back over to the computer and sits back down taking a drink of his fountain soda as he starts typing again.
Homie I think I have told you everything I can for tonight I promise once I get back to Missouri I will come and see you until then I will keep in touch writing you and stuff. Like I said keep an eye out on your books and spend that money on what you want because there's more coming. Tell the posse I', doing good and thinking about them and to stay strong. Homie, stay out of trouble and get me that info on your appeals.
Your Brother

He finally finished his letter and hits the print button and waits for it to print out as it prints he heads over to his duffle bag getting his binder out and getting a pre-stamped envelope out and begins to fill it out. When the letter has completed printing he grabs it and folds it placing it in the envelope licking the seal as he closes it up and sets it next to his wallet so he won't forget it in the morning.
He jumps back onto the queen size bed grabbing the pillow making it the way he wants it for the night. You can hear him telling himself something.
