BIOGRAPHY:
Loud, charismatic and energetic, Mason is a natural when it comes to promotion and has been hugely popular with the fans in any promotion he has worked in.Having filled nearly every role from ring crew to management besides being an actual wrestler, Mason found himself in what was - at the time - his dream position in 2012 when he was given the chance to purchase full control of a moderately successful promotion that operated in the South-West of England. What Mason didn't know however is that the company only appeared moderately successful because the previous owner was fiddling the books. Over the next few years, the promotion haemorrhaged money and Mason found it harder and harder to keep the company afloat. One by one, anybody with any interest in the company bailed out and in late 2015 it closed its doors for good.
Disheartened but not deterred, Mason sought to start from scratch and founded Empire Wrestling. This time around however he decided that he needed someone with a proven track record in business management, someone who could invest the necessary funds to keep the business viable and allow it to compete with other promotions and subsequently grow, someone he could trust. Two out of three was good enough for Eddie, and in late October 2016 he struck a deal with media mogul Marcus Black. Despite having to give up a controlling stake in the company the managerial experience and financial backing promised by Black was too good to turn down. Mason maintained a position of power within the company, though diminished, with Black predictably throwing around his cash in order to try and stack the odds in his favour.
Despite Empire Wrestling's success, Black unexpectedly ghosted and left Eddie with sole control of Empire Wrestling - and all of its debt. Unable to keep the company afloat, Eddie was forced to sell his stock, and Empire Wrestling closed its doors for good in March 2017. Once again though, Mason immediately began planning his comeback - despite losing his stake in the company, he was smart enough to ensure he retained the rights to the video library, which he used to get his foot back in the door of the pro wrestling industry.
After nearly a year, Mason finally found what he was looking for. The XHF Network was rapidly amassing a large collection of non-network material for its archives, and Mason cut a deal with XHF Owner Mongo The Destroyer. The deal ensured that in return for the Empire Wrestling footage, any future pro-wrestling organisation founded by Mason would immediately be welcomed into the XHF Network as an active member.
Backed by the near-limitless potential of working within the XHF Network, Mason had no problem amassing capital to float his next venture. In October 2018, Pro Wrestling Alpha was announced as the newest addition to the XHF Network’s burgeoning roster of feds.
