BRIEF BIO:
An accomplished - though somewhat little-known - amateur wrestler, Wright won accolades on a regional and national level in his teenage years. He made the switch to professional wrestling in June 2015 and toured around Europe and Japan, once again proving his mettle as he pulled off a shock victory in a light-heavyweight tournament in Germany, though the main-event push that he was hoping for never materialised.
Joining Title Fight Wrestling in June 2016, Wright got his first taste of the "big leagues" in the USA - bitter over his previous lack of recognition, he immediately inserted himself into the Ultimate Championship picture, feuding briefly with Christian Shepherd and Mark Redgrave before the promotion folded a couple of months later.
In a move that nobody would have ever predicted, Wright hid his face under a mask, becoming "El Hijo Del Muerte" and it was under this identity that he enjoyed his greatest success. Initially joining Elite Level Wrestling in the States before heading back home to Empire Wrestling in the UK, the ersatz luchador racked up a 259-day undefeated streak which also saw him become the inaugural EW Commonwealth Champion. His streak was finally broken as he was defeated and forced to unmask by fellow TFW alumni Shane Wiemers. Reverting to his real name, Wright looked poised to finally break into the main event scene of Empire, before he was double-crossed by Tyler Wolfe and Miranda Graves.
Over the next seventeen months Wright kept a low profile, appearing only once (as Muerte) in AWF's Rise Up Rumble match. He was signed by former EW boss Eddie Mason to become a part of the latter's new promotion, PWA, in October 2018.
