Abdul bin Hussain was sat in a chair which was situated in the locker room that had been allocated to Riot Star Wrestling at the End of Days pay per view. The other members of the wrestling promotion had not arrived yet as they were in America filming an episode of Anarchy but as Abdul and the rest of the Arab Nation had decided to not be seen on RSW shows until their member Rafiq had been let out of his captivity.
Behind the chair was Abdul’s sister Nazirah, hidden behind her burqa which some people thought was disrespecting the woman beneath but as she was of the Muslim faith she did what her brother said. Beside her, stood at Abdul’s shoulder was Akeed ibn Umar Al-Hayba. The Somali monster was stood looking forward, his eyes taking in anything that is going on around him.
One of the crew from the XHF network was busy setting up a camera which unknown to him was frustrating Akeed’s mentor. Abdul was tutting whilst he looked at his diamond encrusted Rolex.
“We have not got all day Infidel,” Abdul said. “Some of us have other things to do than record this for your network to edit together for maybe thirty seconds of dribble that is totally out of context.”
The cameraman nodded not really taking much attention of the Iraqi and his crew as he had recorded lots of these for the XHF’s latest pay per view but he eventually looked at Abdul and counted him in.
“The End of Days, nothing was so true,” laughed as an embarrassed Abdul doesn’t show emotions. “The End of Days is here. Not in the way that they predicted in Scandinavia, or the way the Christians did in their fan fiction for Jesus Christ but Putin and Trump will be bringing their meaning of it to us all. If it goes the way we think then nuclear winter will be here and we are not going to care anyway are we? Well I’ll be amongst my fellow Muslims and the rest of you will be burning.”
The man that held the camera slightly adjusted it which brought Abdul into full frame.
“Times have become very dark before our eyes,” he said. “Not just because of this religious crusade that has been going on for thousands of years that the Christians have tried to justify to themselves but because of petty politics. Countries have thrown themselves into their petty squabbles in a way to get over each other. In one hand you have the might of that social media whore in America that is using his reality television skills to bring something completely different to the world and seems to be failing in a hilarious manner.”
He caressed his beard whilst Akeed looked on menacingly.
“On the other hand you have someone in Russia that wants to throw his manliness around about, leading his once great country into some sort of renaissance of its glory days when the Iron Curtain was strong,” he said. “How times have changed for both of these once great nations, but these petty dictatorships pale when it comes to what they have done when you look at the former Persian Empire. That was a really empire unlike these flash in the pan ones.”
Abdul looked at Akeed and nodded.
“People say that it’s all about religion, Christians versus Muslims with a bit left over for the Jews and Hindus but they would be wrong. It is all about what happens in those moments,” Abdul muttered. “Those little moments of history when it seems that some would say that the stars are aligned but it’s just the will of Allah. You see we have faith in something whilst they don’t and that will be your downfall.”
He slapped Akeed in the chest which didn’t move the monster at all.
“You see that that is why they will do anything that they can to stop Akeed,” he said. “Akeed is something that this network cannot comprehend. It is something that the network cannot let happen. Carrying that X Crown Championship in the XHF networks eyes is one of the most prestigious things that the company can bestow on someone which is why they cannot let Akeed have that accolade. Can you imagine what is going through their minds at this precise moment? Can they not only have a Negro as its champion but a man of Muslim faith?”
Akeed’s head leaned slightly to the left as he seemed to be taking in what his mentor was saying to the camera.
“Ever since that fateful day when the towers fell America has done anything in its power to keep the Arab Nation down,” Abdul said. “Even though there was no evidence that anyone of my country being involved they decided that it was a problem with my country. America has had a problem with any religion that they decide contradicts with their ideals. How things have changed? Other religions, Pagan religions had problems with Christians back in the day and because they murdered original Christians that is their justification for murdering others. How do you feel about that? Is that what you really want your legacy to be when Christianity becomes obsolete?”
“Oh it will be,” Nazirah said but was totally ignored by everyone.
“When it comes to professional wrestling Somalia has not had a proven track record but that changes with my charge Akeed,” he asked. “Have you seen him? Have you witness this Somali monster in the flesh? He destroys what is put in front of him. Those six victims and I use that word with conviction as they will all fall before him. He destroys all infidels without a hint of emotion crossing his face as that is how he is.”
Nazirah nodded slightly even though all you could see was her eyes through the slit in her burqa.
“When I found Akeed in those slums in Mogadishu, an enforcer for some petty Warlord in that chaotic country I saw the potential in him,” he smiled and his arms were very animated. “Like an uncut diamond he was polished and become the monster that you see incidentally no pun intended Jack. Should we really give Jack Diamond more airtime? The transitional champion may need it once Akeed has ripped that championship from his pathetic hands and he has to return to that Indie promotion that he calls home. Winning the X Crown has made his career but Jack; last time there was no one like Akeed in the tournament to take your smile.”
Abdul smiled and then looked shocked as he looked straight down the camera’s lens.
“Your time is over Jack and you know it, which is why you’re doing everything in your powers to make sure my charge gets thrown out of the whole show,” he said angrily. “Will not work Jack, Akeed is gunning for you and will go through all of those other infidels to prove a point. A point that he will not mind doing incidentally. He has done it before and destruction is what he is good at.”
He nodded.
“We could do some research on those other infidels in the match but all we could find was some grainy, handheld footage that some wrestling marks have uploaded to their YouTube channel which tries to push the Indie promotions as they do not like to be one of those fans to support the big promotions like Riot Star Wrestling,” he started. “If you look at these bingo hall promotions you will see how desperate they are to get any kind of recognition. They think by throwing themselves into this that even the AXW have sent some representative to trying and get some publicity from it. A self-proclaim Hard-core Messiah? What sort of moniker is that? Does he know how ridiculous he sounds? Plain and simply is it pathetic my friend.”
Abdul’s face twisted into a scowl as he continued.
“How did you think that one up? Was it given to you from your sweaty trainer back when you started?” Abdul asked. “His only training was at some Backyard Wrestling thing and he thinks he can train people, is that how it was Price? Did it go down like that? How quaint. He probably taught Charlie Velez and Ember Ferrari right? Is that how it happened? I am right am I not?”
He wiped the sweat from his forehead onto his arm.
“Raiden Ishimori?” a look of shock crossed his face as he spoke. “Oh come on, are you for real? If you were going to name yourself after some character from Mortal Kombat, why some invented Elder God? There are so-many better characters in those games to name yourself Ishimori. Why would you saddle yourself with that one? Doesn’t make much sense to be perfectly honest.“
Abdul held up his hand, inspecting the back of it as he carried on with his rant of sorts.
“Well does anything these days, it’s like looking at America at the moment. It once was considered a country that those that wanted to be free could come to and live out their dreams but now that Donald Trump has got his grubby little paws into it the whole place has returned to the times of the Wild West,” Abdul nodded. “People have not been safe outside of America but now with that infidel in charge he seems to be going after his own people more than anyone else.”
He chuckled to himself and then looked at Akeed.
“With this chaotic world there is only one thing to turn to and that is faith,” he said. “I am not talking about that Christian faith that people seem to be turning away from in droves but the real faith. Before we end this fiasco, I have to speak to the person or persons that are holding Rafiq. You will not succeed. You will not get away with it my friend. Let him go. Give him back to us. Anyway, I digress, Akeed, do you have anything to say about those six infidels that they have put in front of you for this X Crown?”
Akeed looked at Abdul and nodded.
“Seven men enter,” Akeed said. “And just one will leave holding the X Crown. And that will be the monster. It is as easy as that.”
The picture goes black.
