Anne Davies: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, and good evening. Professional Wrestling, a sport that brings out the most passionate fans, sometimes even more so than football.
Dominic Heale: That's right, Anne, and this week Icon Championship Wrestling has set up shop in Nottingham for a special event titled, "Shattered Reflection." Our very own Natalie Jackson is joined by the World Heavyweight Champion, "The Ace of Spades" Jack Diamond for more...
Dakota watches from the greenroom in Nottingham's BBC East Midland broadcasting centre. Jack Diamond was asked to do a live interview for Nottingham's flagship evening news program ahead of Shattered Reflection, where he teams with Maverick to take another stab at the tag team championships, having lost recently when he teamed with Don White. As the anchors kick it over to the sports anchor, Natalie Jackson, Dakota can't help but get a little jealous as the blonde sitting on a stool beside Jack sports a dress that is way too tight for her and is clearly eyeing her man. Jack, always the showman sits with his million dollar smile fitted to perfection in a suit that costs almost the same. On the small table beside him sits his ICW World championship belt and a box of Lucky Charms cereal. Dakota just shakes her head, almost laughing a bit to herself.
Natalie Jackson: Thank you Dominic, Anne; I am here alongside ICW's, that's Icon Championship Wrestling's, very own Jack Diamond. ICW, a company ran out of Minnesota in America, is coming off of their very first international event, their pay-per-view, Castle of Glass. Jack here won a match where the object was to climb a castle made of glass and retrieve his championship title. Through the brutality of the night, he managed to do just that, keeping his belt which if I'm not mistaking he has had for a very long time, over a hundred days! Jack, welcome, what was it like competing for a new audience here in the UK?
Diamond: Well, first off Natalie, I'd like to say thanks for having me, it is a really huge honor to be here and be able to promote the Diamond Club brand as well as ICW. Competing in front of these great fans here on this side of the pond has been amazing so far, even though we are just getting started with this UK tour.
Jackson: The pleasure is ours champ, and the tour continues this Saturday at the Motorpoint Arena when ICW presents: Shattered Reflection. First tell us a bit about this show.
Diamond: Well, ICW loves to throw special shows together usually after our big pay-per-view events. They serve as a more intimate atmosphere for our fans, usually in smaller venues but the action is always just as impactful if not more so than our other shows. That event is live this Saturday and for those fans who have not bought tickets for, what are you waiting for? Yours truly will be headlining the event!
Jackson: I will definitely be there with my cute Diamond Club shirt, cheering you on.
Natalie says this and playfully pats Jack on the shoulder, a gesture that he smiles and winks at, but one that Dakota rolls her eyes. He knows Jack is playing a character but it's hard sometimes to watch when other women so blatantly flirt with him.
Diamond: Well I appreciate it, darling, and I hope all of the Diamond Club comes out and cheers me on as I add to my collection of gold here, becoming the first man to have held the World Title, the Shooting Star title and the Tag Team titles.
Jackson: You are taking on a unique team in England's own, Chaos Kid, and his partner the huge, scary, Soviet Monster Duke Kosloff. Now, you fought these men a few shows back partnering with Don White to know avail as he gave up in the match causing you to lose a chance at this achievement. How will it be different this time?
Diamond: Well, I went into that match thinking that he would carry his own weight and that it would be an easy night at the office, so to speak. I was wrong. He dropped the ball, tapping to Chaos Kid's silly CDM maneuver and costing me a chance at tag team gold. I won't make that mistake again if I have to beat Duke and Chaos all alone, I am going to walk out of Nottingham, once again, a double champion.
Jackson: It's interesting that you bring up "CDM" specifically. Many of our followers on our social media page are adamant that you tapped out to that very same move this past week at Castle of Glass and that he should be the World Champion. Tell me that's not true.
Diamond: I can definitely tell you that, because IT IS NOT TRUE. That is some of that famous "fake news" that people like to spread around the internet. The fact is, I did not tap out. I would never tap out to a move as insignificant as the "CDM" or the "Can't Damage Me" as I now like to refer to it. I think what the fans are mistaking as me tapping out was when I had slipped and Chaos Kid tried his little move. What you seen, was not pain, it was not submission, it was me getting fired up and reaching for my belt. I was slapping the floor for motivation so that I could reach my belt. I will give the kid props, he definitely brought his A game, but in the end it just wasn't enough as I regained what is rightfully mine.
Jackson: You know, that's what I seen. There are those out there in the twitter world though that says you were handed the match. That the Prodigal Icon, Bobby Barratt got involved, picking up your belt and handing it to you, thus making you the winner of the match. Now, for those that do not know, you and Bobby have had a vicious rivalry in ICW and many are confused by this act. Can you enlighten us on this bizarre action from Mr. Barratt? Are you guys friends now?
Diamond: Again, Natalie, I'm going to have to start by stating the obvious, I was getting ready to grab my title when Bobby came out. His actions had no effect on the outcome of the match. I would have won regardless. As for why Bobby did this? I don't know. It is well documented the animosity we have for each other. Maybe he felt it was some type of repayment for me keeping hi from getting his skull caved in earlier in the night, maybe it was a show of respect, but if Bobby is watching tonight let me be very clear... Bobby, I didn't need your help. I don't need your help. I did what I did because I have had enough of Lucas Rieter thinking he can run this company in the ground, MY COMPANY. It is my face that is promoted all over the place and this is my livelihood. I would have done what I did for anyone and on that night it just happened to be a man that there is no love lost between. Friends? No, Bobby and I can't stand each other and that will never change. As a matter of fact, he has yet another chance to fight me for my title if he is able to win the upcoming Icon Rumble match at Spectacle. If that happens, I will do what I've always done and that is put him right back down in the number two spot in the company, where he belongs.
Jackson: Strong words from a strong man. Speaking of strong men, not only are you facing Chaos Kid, the man who came within inches of besting you at Castle of Glass, but you are facing a seven foot four monster in Duke Kosloff. How do you even prepare for something as daunting as that?
Diamond: What you see as daunting, dear, I see as just another day at the office. Duke thinks he can align himself with Lucas and get everything handed to him? No, that's now how it works around here, just as Bobby. I don't care who backs who, I will always be the top man in this company. Is Duke larger than me? Yes. Strong than me? I would hope so. Is he talented enough to beat me in a match? That is where the lines are drawn in the sand. That answer is no. Duke, there isn't enough vodka in this world to ease the pain you will feel after I take your belt Saturday. This isn't the fireborn connection anymore, there is no Jack Diamond to carry you and Chaos to glory. Hell, there isn't even a Chaos Kid. He can't stand you, so whether I have to go in and beat both of you or just stand back and let you two self destruct and kill each other, the results will be the same and that is Jack Diamond will be standing in the middle of the ring at the end of the night holding my tag team championship belts in the air!
Jackson: Well, confidence is something you definitely do not lack, nor should you. You do, however, have a tag team partner in this match and before we get to him I just have to ask... what is with the box of cereal?
Diamond: Oh, you're sexy when you're jealous...
Dakota: I'm not jealous of her! Did you see her face, total horse-face.
Diamond looks at Dakota and laughs, throwing his arm over her and kissing her on the cheek. They walk out of the broadcast center as the scene fades out.

Jack looks at the box of Lucky Charms on the table and looks embarrassed. In the back, Dakota chuckles to herself as Natalie Jackson has a perplexed look on her face.
Diamond: Oh my, pardon me Natalie, where are my manners? So yes, I have a big tag team match as we've discussed and I thought what better way to show everyone that my partner and I are on the same page than to have him do this interview with me? So allow me to introduce my tag team partner at Shattered Reflection... ICW's favorite Leprechaun, Maverick! Now, obviously this isn't really Maverick, as he is still probably getting the kinks worked out of his neck after taking a stacked deck at Castle of Glass, but he might as well be this cardboard box filled with delicious oat cereal and marshmallows. He is just as intimidating. Everyone want's to know why I would lay my partner out before such a big match. It's simple. Maverick thinks he belongs in the big leagues so I wanted to give him a little taste of what would happen if he crosses me in this match. Maverick, if you want me to carry you to your first title, that is fine. Congrats. You will be a tag team champion. If you think for one second you belong in the world title picture though, well son, you might as well hide behind a pot of gold because you are living a fantasy!
Jackson: Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen, the confident, outspoken, good-looking, Jack Diamond. Catch him in action this Saturday at the Motorpoint Arena! Jack, thank you for your time!
Diamond: The pleasure is all mine, love.
Jack stands and shakes Natalie's hand as she sends it back to the main anchors of the new program and Jack struts off back to the green room where Dakota awaits. As he enters the greenroom, she punches his arm playfully, but hard enough to sting a bit.
Diamond: Ouch, what was that for?
Dakota: I will definitely be there with my cute Diamond Club shit, cheering you on! Give me a break.
