Standing there was Abdul Bin Hussain; he was dressed in traditional Arabic white thaub and kaffiyeh. He was standing between his charge Akeed ibn Umar Al-Hayba and his sister Nazirah. Nazirah is dressed in the traditional Burqa. The same camera man that recorded their last little rant was present and he tried not to pay them any more attention than before.
In the background was a poster for the XHF Network’s End of Days pay per view and each of the X Crown entrants were pictured on it surrounding the X Crown Championship. The camera man suddenly looked up at Abdul and nodded. He then counted him in.
“So it has come to my attention that one of the lowlife infidels in the match with my charge,” Abdul started. “One of the combatants has been selected to represent their promotions under a false pretence. Ember Ferrari, what do I say about this person that is not out there on the internet. He looks like a man but acts like a woman and even if rumours are correct dresses like some brazen harlot from America and not like a good Muslim woman like my sister. It is so disrespectful to my charges ideals.”
Abdul shook his head in disgust.
“Women should be covered up,” he said angrily. “Take my sister for example look at the burqa she is wearing. It hides all the flesh that only a husband should see. We do not want to be able to see that. Back in my country if there was a woman or some man that dresses up in women’s clothing they would be stoned to death.”
Nazirah turned and looked at her brother.
“This was not in the contract that Akeed signed, and I would say that the others in this match did not sign up for this sort of depravity either,” Abdul said. “Who knows if it is a he, she or something in-between we are putting our foot down and demand that the network take the right action and take it out of the match.”
He reached up and caressed his beard as he looked down the camera lens.
“The network better tighten its act if it wants its X Crown to be carried with dignity,” he said. “Hell, if by chance this Ember actually was allowed to compete and miraculously won the championship, the network would have someone representing it in their eyes lower in status than Akeed here. Some people think that it does not matter what parts you have but that is not what we have been taught.”
He turned and looked at Akeed and nodded.
“It comes down to the ways people have been handled in America,” he said. “Same sex marriages? Being accepted as a different sex? Using the other sex’s toilets? What is this world coming to when this is what the youths of today are accepting? People thought it would change when it came to that reality television and failed businessman Donald Trump took over as the President of the United States of Mediocre but he has lowered it to not only nearly a state of war with the rest of the world but maybe even a 2nd Civil war within its borders.”
A smirk crossed his lips for a split second.
“We should get quite a lot of accolades when we perform in Ireland for End of Days,” Abdul said. “Why I hear you say, why would they cheer for us there over any of those other places we have wrestled in? Well they know what it is like to be held back, they know what it is like to be persecuted. They were illegally invaded by the English in attempt to segregate the country on religious matters; Religious persecution, sound familiar? They had many terrorist organisations within this country prepared to die for their ideals after England stole their freedom. The most famous was the IRA which some are saying if very similar to ISIS, look at them now, running Northern Ireland legitimately. Then look at the late Nelson Mandela. He was a terrorist who was imprisoned for most of his life. Upon his freedom, he became one of the most powerful men on the planet; dreams come true. Do they not Akeed?”
Akeed’s head turned slightly.
“Yes, that is what people have been trying to do to not only my country but Akeed’s Somalia also,” he said. “Their so-called crusades against Islam are a disgusting thing for them to do but they opened the wrong kettle of fish did they not. My fellow Muslims do not sit down and take this, no we do not. We fight back and take it to the doors of those infidels that think they can justify their actions.”
“They can justify it when I destroy them,” Akeed muttered which made Abdul turn and look at him.
“We should not bring politics into professional wrestling but if they treat us like terrorists then we will play them at their own games,” Abdul muttered. “Bringing the XHF Network’s X Crown back to the Arab Nation will be the last nail in the coffin to this defunct network. Oh someone had to say it did they not. As a last minute ploy to get themselves some publicity to get the world watching they booked in their match a Muslim in Akeed here and whatever it is in that Ember Ferrari. Trying to diversify much?”
He leaned towards the camera lens. His eyes drilled into those who watched from their couches in their basements.
“The accumulated wisdom of my life experience of living in a Warzone under constant threat of death tells me that they should not be trusted but revenge on the rest of the world is ever so tempting,” he continued. “When Riot Star Wrestling approached us about representing them in this tournament was only bribery anyway. When Robert Riot drastically lost RSW’s last chance to claim the X Crown, RSW needed to do something drastic and with my charge having them over a barrel with the mysterious kidnapping of our associate Rafiq.”
Akeed opened his mouth as if to say something but was cut off by Abdul.
“Whoever that is holding our associate will feel the wrath when we find out where they are,” he said. “Until then we have informed the management of Riot Star Wrestling that Akeed will not be competing in a RSW ring until it is rectified. Especially with their current United States tour. They have the audacity of touring around the majority of the bases of their armed forces. We do not feel safe there so we will not let them use us for their entertainment.”
He grimaced at his comment before he continued.
“They say we are terrorists after 9-11 but most people do not realise that was actually perpetrated by Americans not those of my faith,” Abdul continued. “Take a look at the movie Long Kiss Goodbye, would Samuel Jackson lie to you? I do not think so.”
Abdul laughed at his own joke.
“Some would wonder why we would show our faces on the screens and talk like we do,” he said. “Some would wear masks covering their faces whilst others would hide behind some sort of moniker or false name so their families or themselves be persecuted by some government or vigilante; but those of us true to the faith do not need to do any of these dastardly tactics as we believe in ourselves. It is a luxury in this world to live long enough to regret things you have done in my country.”
He pointed at the poster.
“This guy goes by the moniker the Hard-core Messiah,” he said. “What a blasphemy but why give him anymore airtime. He thinks that because he is some Hard-core icon in his backyard wrestling promotion that someone of Akeed’s talents should be interested in the squared circle. He is a worthless worm who should be stamped out of existence. But what can I really expect with this generation of young people. It is not only those in the United States of Mediocre but it seems to be a nearly worldwide epidemic. With this reality television generation they have no respect for anyone other than themselves and will do anything to get over. A normal Muslim family does not have this problem as they do not disrespect their elders.”
Nazirah nodded at what her brother was saying.
“Jack Diamond needs to get over himself,” Abdul said. “He thinks that with him being the current XHF X Crown Championship holder that people put him on a pedicle; he thinks that because he is Jack Diamond that he has the advantage going into the match as in his words the man that Akeed should not even show up. Fortunately that Akeed will not even give him the satisfaction of the narrative. He will just destroy the champ………..EASILY!”
He smirked at Akeed before he looked back at the camera.
“Do I really need to talk about any of the other losers gracing our presence in this match of the ages? I do not think I will give them the satisfaction by putting their names out there.
Abdul shook his head.
“Did you manage to get your sound bites from me?” Abdul asked as he looked at the camera man. “I hope I do not have to repeat myself. Now get that camera out of my face.”
