He arrives at the Dublin police station after a long wait and just a few days from his debut match for Pro Wrestling Alpha at the final day of End of Days. He now has to walk into a foreign police station and deal with them, an ex-con a man who fights for a living trying to get help from the police. He just can't seem to wrap his head around the concept of asking them for help but he has no other choice. He passes by several polices officers as he enters the grounds.
Several of them stare at him but when your 6'6" over two hundred pounds you tend to draw attention to yourself. A few just walk by him as if he isn't even there as one officer stops him asking him if he needs help with anything? He smiles an awkward smile at the officer and just hands the officer a business card that he was given earlier in the weak.
Officer #1
Oh, okay sir just follow the sidewalk down this way and it will bring you to a right turn and you will see the entrance to a building marked "Caseworkers" just go on inside and ask for this lady. They will be able to help you from there.
Eric Chronister
Thanks, officer.
He takes back the business card and heads down the sidewalk as the officer told him to do. It only takes him a couple minutes to reach the building as he enters the building he sees a pretty red-haired lass working behind the front desk as he heads over to her he shuts off his cell phone.
Eric Chronister
Hi, I am needing to see this lady.
He hands the business card to the receptionist, who politely reaches out and takes it. A she looks at it she grabs a clipboard and pen handing it to him along with the card.
Receptionist
Yes, sir, Ms. O'shea will be with you shortly as you wait please fill this out and I will need a photo ID and another form of identification also. When your finishes just bring it back up to me and I will get it checked in for you.
Eric Chronister
Sure thing, I have my drivers license and my photo identification card from PWA if that will work?
Receptionist
Do you work for PWA?
He looks around as a few of the people in the room are looking over towards them as he answers.
Eric Chronister
Yes, I do I just signed a contract with them and I am here in Dublin for my first match this Sunday at the XHF Networks End of Days event.
Receptionist
Very nice sir, well that's great go ahead get that filled out and Ms. O'shea will be with you shortly.
He picks the clipboard back up and heads over to the waiting area, as he sits down and fills out the forms he manages to understand why he never liked going to hospitals or police station or anywhere else before, all the damn paperwork. He quietly takes up the clipboard and hands it to the receptionist and heads back over to his seat when the lady walks over and says his name.
Ms. O'shea
Eric Chronister, Eric Chronister!
He jumps up and quickly walks over to her as he shakes her hand they head down the hallway into her office.
Ms. O'shea
So Eric what can I do for you?
Eric Chronister
Yes, I was told I needed to let you know I was in town and that I would be here until Monday morning when my flight takes me back home to Bristol.
Ms. O'shea
Why would you need to let me know that Mr. Chronister, tourist normally don't have to tell us that, Dublin nor Ireland has any type of laws stating that tourist needs to notify local police or anything of their visit?
He looks down as he rubs his face and he pauses for a moment then slowly looks back up as he begins to speak.
Eric Chronister
Well, Ms. O'shea, I am from America, I am on Parole which means I recently was released from prison. I just moved to Bristol for work.
Ms. O'shea
Hold on, work what type of work would hire a felon, a criminal. especially someone from "MERICA"?
Eric Chronister
Here we go, well I work for Pro Wrestling Alpha, I am a professional wrestler and I am in town this week for a match this Sunday at Croke Park.
She leans back in her chair as she crosses her arms and begins to smirk at him.
Ms.O'shea
Well, Mr. Chronister, I will be keeping a close eye on you while you're here in Dublin, I expect you will keep your self out of trouble. This isn't "MERICA" we don't put up with troublemakers and criminals.
Eric Chronister
Yes, ma'am, I will be here just for work and then heading back to Bristol. No need to worry about me causing any problems.
Ms. O'shea
You better not, because I will be keeping an eye on you and I will be doing a background check on you asap. If I find anything I do not like you won't make it to Sunday night's End of Days event. Do I make my self-clear Mr. Chronister?
Eric Chronister
Like I said Ms. O'shea, no need to worry about me just here for work so calm down.
She looks at him and begins to get a bit upset at the notion of him telling her what to do.
Ms. O'shea
Mr. Chronister, I don't need some immoral convict telling me what to do, See I know your kind you think you can come over here to our beautiful country and do whatever you want. Not today convict I'm not stupid I know a couple people in the wrestling business and well I will be taking care of this and making sure you're heading back home sooner than you think but not Bristol, but back to that hell hole "MERICA".
Ms. O'shea
Now get out of my office before I have you detained. By the way, Mr. Chronister welcome to Dublin!
He gets up with a look of pure anger and rage on his face as the veins in his neck are about to burst, but he holds his temper and just leaves. Making sure he doesn't cause any trouble as he realizes that making a scene wouldn't do anyone any good, just cause more trouble. And right now he needs this job and needs to win his match this Sunday against Anguish, Casper and Mr.America so he can get back to Missouri and check on Homie.
As he walks out the doors of the building he turns on his cell phone and tries to text his partners for this Sunday making sure that 'The Mechanic" and Steven Wright will be ready this Sunday.
