It's been a long month as he competed at the End of Days tournament making it into the second round then moving from Japan to Bristol, then competing once again at the End of Days event all while keeping in touch with his parole officer in America. While still not being able to find out anything about his best friend Aaron Ortiz better known as "Homie". He walks through his front door as he tosses his bags on the couch he heads into the small kitchen and opens the fridge as he starts rummaging through it to see what there is to eat.
He looks around for a few minutes as he pulls out a half gallon of milk and takes a swig and almost vomits as he spits it out. He quickly wipes his mouth as he looks at the date on the carton to see it expired over five days ago. He walks over tossing it in the trash can as he grabs a paper towel and wipes up the milk he, spit out. He grabs a couple jalapeno peppers out of the crisper in the fridge as he lays them on the counter he starts running the hot water and reaches in the cabinet to find a couple of shrimp flavored Ramen noodles and a short pack of cracked pepper crackers.
He stands there and crushes the soups and the crackers as the water gets hot enough to add to the soups he quickly does a rough chop on the jalapeno peppers and threw them in the bowl with the soups as he adds the water. He lets the soups sit and soak up the water as he checks his mailbox on the outside of his door. While thumbing through it he comes to a letter from the states no name or return address on it just addressed to him. He just tosses it on the table as he grabs his bowl of soup and adds his crackers and heads over to the couch to eat.
He kicks up his feet after slipping his boots off and grabs the remote control flipping on the television and surfing through the channels as he takes a huge bite of his Ramen noodles. He comes across a commercial for Pro Alpha Wrestling and the upcoming Adrenaline show for November 7. As he sits there watching it, it cuts to a spot of him being handcuffed to the ring and beat by the three men at End of days. As it ends with a picture of Steven Wright and himself as the main event he flips the channel and tosses the remote down.
He continues to eat his Ramen noodles as the anger builds up inside of him, he slams the bowl down on the coffee table as he just can't take it anymore. The thought's of what they did to him and after just seeing it for the first time for himself he just can't control the rage building in him, he can still feel the pain everytime he moves from the steel chair shots. Every time he takes a breath he gets sharp pains in his chest and ribs, he's bruised and battered but most of all extremely pissed.
As he sits there his phone rings he leans over grabbing the cordless off the charger to answer it.
Eric Chronister
Hello.
Jason Miller D.O.P.
Hello, Mr. Chronister, nice to know you made it back home to Bristol. This is Jason Miller, your parole officer. I was needing to speak to you if you have a few minutes.
Eric Chronister
Oh, of course, yeah what's up?
Jason Miller D.O.P.
Well, as we had spoken before still need to do your weekly check in's with me either by phone or by online chat on the Department of Corrections website. You missed yours this past week, I can't have you missing your check in's Mr. Chronister.
Eric Chronister
I know and it won't happen again, just a busy week. Will make sure to call and make all future check in's.
Jason Miller D.O.P.
It better not Mr. Chronister, or I will revoke your parole and have you detained and brought back to the United States and placed back behind the Walls, in Jefferson City for the remainder of your sentence.
He leans back on the couch gripping the pillow next to him as hard as he can as he tries to hold his tongue.
Eric Chronister
Absolutely sir, not a problem.
Jason Miller D.O.P.
Okay, I will let it go this time now I do have some other things to speak to you about. I understand your job is going well?
Eric Chronister
Yeah, no problems.
Jason Miller D.O.P.
Good, I also understand that while you were in Dublin, Ireland, your match got a bit personal. The guys you competed with actually handcuffed you to the ring is that true and how are you handling it?
Eric Chronister
Well, yeah it's true and it's fine, it happened and it's over. Now I have a match against a guy named Steven Wright on November 7. So work is fine nothing to worry about.
He shakes his head as he starts to get more and more upset but can't allow his parole officer to know so he stands up and starts to pace the floor as they speak.
Jason Miller D.O.P.
Good, if you need to talk I'm just a call away or you can go to the office there in Bristol. Now one more thing then I will let you be Mr. Chronister. Your friend Aaron Ortiz I was not able to find out anything but I was able to speak with a correctional officer who was and he told me to have you contact him directly his name is David Richards. He will be able to help you further, so I will be waiting for your call this week and have a good day Mr. Chronister, oh and good luck with your match.
Eric Chronister
Okay sir, good day.
He hangs up and quickly pulls out his wallet to get the business card from it, so he can call David to find out about Homie.
