SSS News Report: Ep.2
We have many stories today on this edition of News Report. One is an update on a wrestler who got injured almost a year ago, Cici Dupree. The latest update on her from our sources is that she is starting to have movement in her arms and hands as well as motion in her neck. That's all we have on her condition for now. More news on former talent, this time on the brief trio of FEM. While whereabouts on former Goddess of Sakura Champion, Bodhi and Kazia-X are still very much unknown we do have an update on Katie Boom Boom. She was last seen in Los Angeles, California in LA: U.
Last week CEO Emi Sakata made it clear on her thoughts of the current roster and state of SSS being quoted as saying she's "very proud" of the roster so far. She also announced an award like ceremony and show in the works. We have some more information on this now. Apparently some categories may be announced on the November edition of Sakura Genesis. With the rest being announced by the end of Winter Festival 2018 and/or the day after. Fans and employees alike will be allowed to vote as well. With winners being announced sometime by the end of January.
Important news on the state of the Pride of Sakura Title, rumors have been going on for the past few days about possible changes to the title. Well we're here to say some of those rumors are true as the Pride of Sakura Title will some changes to it. Instead of being a 24/7 Title it will now be turned into a shoot styled title. With separate match rules compared to the others. It will take on rules based off of the old shoot promotions Pancrease and UWA as well as some things seen in SSS only. Pride of Sakura Title matches will now be contended under PRIDE Rules which are as follows; 1. All fighters will have only three ropebreaks per match, if you use all three ropebreaks with in a match you will be allowed no more., 2. All fighters must stay in the ring, any fighter who leaves the ring on their own free will will get an automatic loss and forfeit the match., 3. Matches can only end in Submission, knock out, Technical Knockout, or verbal forfeit., More rules can be seen in the rules section of our website.
There are also rumors for many big matches planned for next months big show, lots of things are said to be in the works with many contracts and matches getting worked on behind the scenes as we speak. There are also many wondering what that giant mass was last show, well we're believed to find out later this month on Sakura Genesis so tune in to find out about that.
Also regarding the IJWF Title match Ember Ferrari won last week, That title match is rumored to happen in December or Janurary. More information on this when available.
Speaking of titles STRiFE won the Idols of Sakura Title last week and not only that but became the first person to defeat Alexis Grace in singles competition. Many look forward to see what she will bring to a title that many already see as highly prestigious. The Goddess of Sakura Champion, Fukushima Zombie has been working hard defending her title as well recently defeating a returning Nausicaa Suzuki in a casket match. Afterwards Suzuki was believed to be buried alive, no one is sure of her whereabouts now, but if we get any news on her we will be sure to tell you.
Another bit of news from that match, the first and last ever SBW Champion, Ai Moe tried to help Suzuki mid match two weeks ago. Not much is known as to what will come of this, but we are sure to find out when we can.
This brings us to the Angels of Sakura, Velocity 54* Who have made waves elsewhere too and are now duel champions holding the Angles of Sakura as well as the Galactic Tag Team Titles too.
