We cut open to the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tennessee, as the American fans go wild as they do, excited to see an AXW show on US soil. The cameras pan across the venue showing it off in all it's beauty, before cutting to Derrick Donovan and BB Gunn sitting ringside, microphones in hand.
Derrick Donovan: Welcome back to the AXW United States Tour! We're on our final stop before the big pay per view next month, and tonight we're live in the Ascend Nashville Tennessee! I'm Derrick Donovan, and beside me as always is my broadcast partner, "Boom Boom" BB Gunn!
BB Gunn: Thanks Dono, and what a night we have in store for you! As always, the black sheep federation of the XHF is prepared to serve up the hottest action ahead of our PPV, which we will be getting more information on later in this broadcast!
Derrick Donovan: That's right! We've got plenty of surprises on the card, but as per usual let's give the run down of the card!
BB Gunn: In the opening bout, 5 individuals will clash for a future chance at Dreadvan's European Championship. KIng Edmund IV, Roger Riggs, Yuki Sakaraba, Wellington Dunne and newcomer Blake Luthor all will face off for a shot at stardom!
Derrick Donovan: Next up is... wait, am I reading this right? A salmon eating competition... between the European Champ Dreadvan and XHF Legend, Goldbear II!
BB Gunn: Is he even a legend? Regardless, after that shit-fest, we'll have the first of two Scorpion Classic semi-final matches! NBC's Chaos is up against AVA's Anthony Caffrey, in what will sure be an exhilarating bout!
Derrick Donovan: Then, the match-up we've never actually seen in full; The Anomoly vs James Raymond. Two former Undisputed Champions, with much to gain, as they represent the other half of the Scorpion Classic semi-finals!
BB Gunn: And finally, in the main event of the evening, Nate Pierce makes his return! He defends the AXW Undisputed Championship against a man many say doesn't deserve the shot, but regardless, he's got it. It's Nate Pierce defending against NBC's Duke Kosloff, in the main event of the evening! And boy, Dono, I can't wait!
Derrick Donovan: Well buckle up, BB! We've got a hell of a show in store for us all. And it all...
BB Gunn: Starts...
Both: NOW!
"Plebians - silence yourselves as the heavens gift you with this special occasion. Your eyes will feast like it never has before. The one. The only. King Edmund William Hickenbottom IV".
The lights dim. Two uniformed gentlemen step forward. They blow on their trumpets to signal the introduction of the King of Supremia. After the royal tune, Preliator by Globus plays. After the introduction to the song, Mutt walks out, holding a throne above his heads and shoulders. As he marches down the ring, the two uniformed guards follow. Mutt climbs up the stairs, where the uniformed guards lower the top rope for Mutt to climb over. Mutt places the throne down the center of the ring and then lies on all fours in front of the throne. There, King Hickenbottom steps on the back of Mutt as a stepping stool on the way down.
With a crown on his head and a scepter in his hand, he climbs the ropes to the fans. They all boo him. The king smiles as he descends and exits the ring to allow Mutt to show off exactly what King Hickenbottom IV can do.
Funeral for A Son starts as normal, when all of a sudden record scratch is heard throughout the arena.
Suddenly, an attractive young woman comes out on stage with a microphone.
Female: "Ladies and Gentlemen, The AVA is pround to bring you, The Muscle-Bound Freak of Nature, The Scotland Slayer, The Bagpipe Playing Son-of-a-Bitch, The Glasgow Bull. Weeellllliiiinngggtooooonnn Duuuuuuuuunnnnneeeee!!!!"
The lights dim to black and Done is Done starts to play.
As the opening guitar rifts plays 2 spotlights scan the audience, but ignore the main stage.
The violin kicks in, and the audience sings along with violin.
Suddenly the lights go out, leaving the arena in pitch black darkness.
You don't know what you're looking for
Lights suddenly hit Dunne who is standing on stage with is arms spread out.
Song continues as he makes his down the ramp.
Then it's certainly time to make it so, yeah ...
At these words, Dunne performs a Cut Throat gesture, and the lights go out again.
What's done is done
The lights suddenly flash back on, this time Dunne is in the ring, and right in Mutt's face.

Yuki walks out from the back. She has a bright smile on her face as she looks around before putting her hands up as if she's looking through a telescope. She walks down the rampway and gives some fist bumps and handshakes to fans. She starts walking around the ring doing pretty much the same thing.

She slides in and climbs the top of the ropes, acting as if she's searching for something or someone. She goes to the other corners and does a pose as well before going down into the middle and posing one final time.
The theme plays. Riggs walks out. Well, swaggers out more like. Focused entirely on the ring, that's what he makes a beeline for. But, he can't help but showboat a lil bit. All business.
As the music starts, “Hammerhand” Blake Luthor walks out from the back, looking angry at the entire world. He makes his way down to the ring, ignoring the boos from the fans.
Derrick Donovan: 5 superb athletes. One chance at stardom. Who will go on to challenge for the XHF European Championship in the future?
BB Gunn: Obviously Riggs. He has a contendership to the belt after all.
Derrick Donovan: ...shut up, BB.
King Edmund IV (Mutt) vs Wellington Dunne vs Yuki Sakaraba vs Roger Riggs vs Blake Luthor
[DING DING]
All four men and one woman stand around the ropes, looking to see who strikes who, but Mutt charges at the opposite corner he's in at Riggs with a huge splash. Yuki goes after Luthor which leaves Dunne to exit the ring and watch on as he grabs a chair from the crowd and sits at ringside.
BB Gunn: Dunne wants no part in this match right now, but also a brilliant tactic from The Glasgow Bull.
With Yuki and Luthor going at one another with strikes and kicks, Riggs is sent flying across the ring with the power from Mutt.
Derrick Donovan: My god, Riggs nearly went into the crowd!
BB Gunn: I know some are eating complimentary fries but nobody asked for more salt.
Mutt isn't finished with Riggs as he grabs him into a headlock and cranks the neck of Riggs. Meanwhile, Luthor has the upper hand over Yuki, before lifting her over his head with an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Luthor makes a quick pinfall on Yuki.
[...O- BROKEN UP!..]
As soon as the pinfall is made, Mutt drops onto Luthor with an Axe Handle. Now, Mutt turns the assault onto Luthor but he fights back with kicks to the gut. Luthor pushes Mutt out of the way, runs and bounces off the ropes but as he makes a direct course for Mutt, Mutt flies into the air with a leaping Clothesline. Dunne leans forward in his chair as if he's ready to enter the ring at any moment, but he leans back to a comfortable position once again. Riggs somehow manages to get back to his feet and tries to fight off Mutt, he connects with some left and right hooks before hitting a Spinning Heel Kick to the jaw which stuns Mutt and makes him stumble to the ropes. Riggs makes a run towards Mutt and clotheslines him over the ropes.
Derrick Donovan: Riggs looking to upset Mutt once again, I don't know if that's wise to do.
BB Gunn: It might not bu- Wait... What is Riggs doing?
He looks down at Mutt and then to the crowd like he's planning on something, he makes a dash to the ropes behind him but as he turns around he's met with a Trouble in Paradise kick from Yuki.
BB Gunn: What a kick!
Yuki looks down at Luthor and Mutt both trying to get up at the same time, she grabs the ropes and launches herself onto both men with a Crossbody, she slides back into the ring and runs towards the opposite side of the ring and goes through the second rope for a Suicide Dive onto Dunne, who was still sitting on the chair.
BB Gunn: Yuki is on fire tonight, that's a fact for sure.
Derrick Donovan: All their defenses must be terrified.
Yuki climbs onto the ring apron and she sees Riggs in position for Mass Extinction, but as she jumps up, Dunne grabs her ankles and pulls her down, banging her head on the apron. Dunne picks up Yuki in a Powerbomb position and drops her down, spine first on the apron. Dunne finally enters the ring and so had Luthor, Luthor goes for a lariat but Dunne counters, Dunne jumps onto the second rope and hits a Springboard Moonsault onto Luthor. Dunne hooks the leg of Luthor.

Mutt finally arises from the ground, and Dunne looks on in fear, but he challenges Mutt to enter. As Mutt enters the ring, Dunne slides out of the ring and cracks a smile. Riggs goes after Mutt and is knocked down with ease, then Yuki has her turn to take down the servant of Supremia with another Trouble in Paradise kick but Mutt only throws her away. But once he turns around to see Luthor, he's already in movement for

Yuki is finally able to make it to the ring apron and is ready to launch herself onto the ropes, but just like before as Yuki jumps up, Dunne strikes. He hits her with a stiff Forearm to the jaw.

Dunne jumps over the bridge with Luthor and Riggs and falls down with a Senton, Dunne then jumps up in the air and falls down on Riggs and Luthor separately with Sentons.
Derrick Donovan: This shows how much a win means to Dunne, he needs it badly.
Dunne brings Luthor to his feet and attempts the Scottish Face Breaker but Luthor counters by grabbing the head of Dunne in a reverse headlock. He lifts up Dunne and drops him down with a Reverse Bloody Sunday DDT. Luthor doesn't go for the pin but decides to climb to the top rope but as he gets to the second rope, Mutt grabs him by the throat and pushes him back onto a table ringside that he placed when all the action was happening inside the ring. Luthor crashes and burns and Mutt puts his focus on Riggs, who sits on the opposite side of the ring Mutt stands.
BB Gunn: Riggs is a dead man walking, there's no one to help the poor man.
Mutt slowly walks over to Riggs and grabs him by the throat, lifting him up to his feet. Mutt knees Riggs in the gut and runs towards the ropes and rebounding off them to hit
[MIGHT OF SUPREMIA!]
(Scissor Kick)
Just as Mutt goes for the pinfall he sees everyone rallied up looking to gather another game plan, Mutt picks up Riggs into a Powerbomb position and fires Riggs over the ropes and onto Yuki, Dunne, and Luthor. Riggs lands in the crowd, knocking some fans over in the process. Mutt heads out of the ring and grabs Yuki and rolls her into the ring. Mutt slides back into the ring and grabs her into a Double Underhook before lifting her up into a vertical base, but out of nowhere, Luthor slides into the air and runs at Mutt
[HAMMERHAND BLAST!]
BB Gunn: Mutt stands!
Mutt is stunned, he drops Yuki on her neck after the impact of the punch. Luthor backs up into the corner and cocks his arm before running and leaping into the air
[HAMMERHEAD BLAST!!]
Derrick Donovan: Now, Mutt falls!
Mutt falls and rolls out of the ring, Luthor goes for the pin on Yuki.

Derrick Donovan: Blake Luthor wins, what a debut!
Here is your winner, "Hammerhand" Blake Luthor!
BB Gunn: This is the next person Dreadvan should have his eyes on.
We cut to Derrick Donovan in the ring, microphone in hand and a somber look upon his face.
Derrick Donovan: Folks, tonight I am the bearer of bad news. A little earlier in the broadcast, I'd received word about the statuses of four of our contracted stars who work for us. Firstly, and this one is a big blow, it was announced that Killa Kai is currently dealing with an unknown injury received during the finals of the End of Days tournament. Information at this time is currently minimal, but he's expected to be out for an extended period of time. We wish Kai a speedy recovery.
Derrick Donovan: Next, the entire team of "Hellbound," has gone missing since their last matches. Brad Swann, Tortura and Papa Fuego have disappeared without a trace. We hope they are all able to make some form of contact with us some point in the near future.
Donovan sighs, and looks around the venue.
Derrick Donovan: However, despite these losses to our roster, we shall continue to fight and prove our dominance in the XHF. We are the fiercest, most dominant force in this Network. No amount of injuries or disappearances will derail us!
Derrick smiles as the crowd roars around him.
Derrick Donovan: Because we...
Derrick Donovan and Crowd: WE ARE AXW!
The music plays and instantly everyone in the arena the fans scream so hard they spit up blood after a few seconds. Eventually, Dreadvan's large frame makes it's way through the curtain, XHF European Championship draped around his bulbous neck. He does his best to antagonize the fans, but they scream harder still for the Dreadvan. He makes his way slowly towards the ring, his size makes it a long, drawn out process, but he makes it and waits.
BB Gunn: "The Demon" Dreadvan makes his return, after not being seen since he maimed Duke Kosloff at End of Days!
Derrick Donovan: That was a blatant DQ loss, but is that really a win to be proud of for Duke?
BB Gunn: It helped him secure his way to the main event of tonight's show.
Derrick Donovan: True.
The lights to the arena shut off and the crowd begins to get on their feet in anticipation. The projection lights up on the main stage, showing the skyline of Atlanta and Ennio Morricone's "Ecstacy of Gold" begins to pour out of the gym speakers. Shots of Goldbear II trying to feast on salmon and cowboys riding horseback through the American West fill the projection. The crowd begins to sing with the music cheer for Goldbear II's appearances on the big screen. The final shot of "Ecstacy of Gold" has Goldbear catching and devouring a salmon in his mouth. Crowd massive pops for their favorite carnivore.
A lone harmonica for "Man with a Harmonica," by Morricone as well, begins to play while showing Goldbear II dining on a bloody feast of salmon. As the harmonica begins to the pick up and is accompanied by an electric guitar, Venom is shown in the video, and then James Mueller, and even Charlie Velez. It cuts back to Goldbear II and then action shots of Venom, Mueller and Velez. Eventually the song breaks down and goes right into "Out of the Black" by Royal Blood. More action shots of the Guns are shown before "THE YOUNG GUNS" come up in text on the projection. The "Young" flickers off and it now reads "THE GUNS."
The crowd pops and although we get a super hyped up, anticipated entrance, we see Goldbear II already in the ring, scratching his balls. He stops fondling himself and stands on his hind legs across from his foe, giving a mighty roar.
BB Gunn: The King of Dongs! Goldbear II is in the house!
Salmon Eating Contest
Dreadvan vs Goldbear II
A few employees are finishing setting up the table where Goldbear II and Dreadvan will face off in their Salmon Eating competition. The two combatants are forced to stay in their corners. Goldbear II again fondling himself as Dreadvan stares holes into him, with the XHF European Championship around his waist. BB Gunn walks up to the ring, microphone in hand and dressed to the nines like that UFC Announcer, Bruce Buffer. He smiles, as the contestants are seated at the table.
BB Gunn: And now, it is time for what most people, probably Mongo, are going to consider the Main Event of the Evening!
A roaring round of applause is heard as the spotlights circle the arena, before finally settling on the ring as the lights elsewhere around the arena dim to near-complete darkness. The "referee" for the bout walks up and in between the challengers, taking the mic from BB.
Referee: Alright, gentlemen and bears... holy shit that's a big ass bear... uh, the following competition will have a 5 minute time limit. Each plate being brought down holds approximately 50 salmon on them. For health and safety reasons, the fish have been descaled and definned. The rest of the fish is there, and they must consume the entire fish. Whoever eats the most salmon at the end of the 5 minute period is the winner, and will get to be acknowledged as the best eater of fish!
The referee hands the microphone back to BB Gunn, who promptly exits the ring and walks back to the commentary booth, settling down beside Donovan.
BB Gunn: Why does this match exist? And why did I have to be the announcer?
Derrick Donovan: This is a heavily fan requested match, BB! For the stipulation, I've no clue why it's a fish eating contest.
BB Gunn: If I wanted to eat something fishy, I'd-
Derrick Donovan: BB! This is a PG broadcast!
Two large plates of fish are brought down and set on the table. One for each contender. A few carts are carted down ringside, as Dread and GoldBear growl and grovel. And then, the ref calls for the bell to ring.
[...DING DING! DING DING!...]
Derrick Donovan: And we're off! 5 minutes to eat fish!
BB Gunn: Thank goodness someone decided to make this a short contest!
With the ring of the bell, the two are off! The two swiftly begin to shovel the fish down their gullets. Fish are lifted into their mouths, and swallowed hole. Dreadvan seems to have the early lead, but Goldbear is a bear. He just slams his face into the plate and vacuums up the fish in seconds!
BB Gunn: Look at Goldy go!
Derrick Donovan: Putting Dread to shame!
Goldbear continues to suck up a second, a third, a fourth plate! Meanwhile, Dread is just finishing up his first plate. He then grabs a whole handful of the squishy, slimy salmon in his large hand, stuffing it into his mouth and licking his fingers.
Derrick Donovan: It's finger lickin' good!
BB Gunn: No folks, we're not sponsored by KFC.
As they continue to stuff the food in their mouths, the clock counts down. 2 minutes. 1 minute. The seconds are ticking away. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
[...BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!...]
And just like that, the contest is over. Goldbear II, with the larger stack of empty plates, stands up and roars in victory. The referee points to Goldy, announcing him the winner. BB Gunn takes to the mic.
BB Gunn: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner. Goldbe-
Suddenly, another referee and a guy from catering run out from the back and begin to talk to the referee who was on the standby.
Derrick Donovan: What's going on? Goldbear clearly won this competition!
An intense argument and lots of gesturing about occurs before the three walk up to BB Gunn, who looks ever so confused.
BB Gunn: Uh huh... uh huh... okay. Alright then.
BB clears his throat.
BB Gunn: Ladies and gentlemen, it is true that Goldbear ate more fish than Dreadvan. However, catering prepared the wrong fish for him. So while he ate some... uh, 17, 18 plates of... what'd you say, cod? Whatever, regardless, Dreadvan was served salmon, and seeing how this was billed as specifically a salmon eating contest, he ate more salmon than Goldbear II. Therefore, your winner, the XHF European Champion, "The Demon," Dreadvan!
Dreadvan stands tall, the winner, roaring. Goldbear growls, but then just flops onto his back and falls asleep.
BB Gunn: Ah shit. How're we gonna get Goldy out of here?
Derrick Donovan: He might be hibernating, DD.
BB Gunn: Someone call the GUNS.
Derrick Donovan: Let's cut to commercial.
BB Gunn walks into the dressing room of Natural Born Chaos. Both Duke and Chaos are getting ready for their big matches later on in the show. Chaos is sitting on the bench next to his locker, wrapping his wrist as Duke is off in the corner hitting the heavy bag. As BB Gunn enters he tries to grab their attention. Both men look over and casually walk over to him.
BB Gunn: Gentleman, tonight is the night NBC has been waiting for! Chaos. you have a chance to make it to the Scorpion Classic finals in your match against Caffrey, and Duke this has to be your biggest match in your career as you face Nate Pierce for the AXW Undisputed Championship! What's the plans guys?
Chaos: Okay, no more questions. You're done, let us speak now. Duke, you want to handle this while I finish getting ready? I'm about to go out to the ring anyways.
Duke Kosloff: BB, it's like this. Tonight several things are going to happen; Chaos will win and advance in the Scorpion Classic. That's a given, then I will go out there cause enough destruction and chaos to force my opponent Nate Pierce to give up on himself and I will be victorious which will usher in the era of Natural Born Chaos!
Both men look at BB Gunn as they begin to look at him with evil intentions.
Duke Kosloff: Now BB, you might want to get out of our dressing room before you too, feel the burn!
"My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark" plays from the PA, and the crowd shakes in thunderous boos, as the man who is now the most hated in AXW walks out from the back. Cocky, smug, arrogant. That is what Anthony Caffrey embodies. The UnLegend walks down the ramp, smirking as he collects boos from the crowd. As he reaches the ring, he puts his foot on the steps, and pauses. He then points to it, and makes a snapping motion, sending a message to his opponent. He casually smiles, and proceeds climbing into the ring. He walks to his corner and perches atop the turnbuckle, awaiting his opponent with a smile plastered on his face.
Derrick Donovan: That smug son of a gun has the audacity to look cheeky after his loss last show.
BB Gunn: Now now, Dono. Caffrey may have lost, but he put on a hell of a match against Raymond.
Derrick Donovan: If he thinks beating Chaos is going to be an easy task, he sure as hell will be wrong.
BB Gunn: Chaos is definitely no pushover. This will be a chaotic brawl indeed!
's music dies down, and the crowd, anticipating his opponent, begin a thunderous chant.
[...CHAOS! CHAOS! CHAOS!...]
...
The crowd erupts as "Like a Storm" blasts through the sound systems! Chaos strides out, oozing confidence. He looks to the left, then looks to the right, he kneels down on his left leg, cupping his hands over his face, as soon as the lyric “Let the Chaos bring you to life” hits, he stands up and walk to the ring with meaning. He slides under the rope, glaring at Caffrey, and sheds his jacket. His music then dies down, and the crowd begin to chant his name again!
Derrick Donovan: The crowd firmly behind Chaos here tonight! They want no part of a Caffrey victory here.
BB Gunn: Imagine it, Dono. Chaos wins the Scorpion Classic, Duke wins the AXW Undisputed Championship. Natural Born Chaos will tear it up at our next PPV!
Derrick Donovan: That's be a sight to behold, but Chaos would have to beat Caffrey, and then beat The Anomoly or James Raymond first! Meanwhile, Duke would have to conquer the Whaler, which is no easy task indeed.
Scorpion Classic Semi-Finals Match
Anthony Caffrey vs Chaos
[...DING DING! DING DING!...]
Chaos and Caffrey circle around the ring, eyes locked and focused. Caffrey reaches out in the center of the ring for a test of strength. Chaos cautiously reaches out a hand, locking hands. Caffrey reaches out with the other, causing Chaos, again with upmost caution. As soon as they clasp hands, Caffrey lands a cheap kick to the knee. With Choas down, he picks him up in a side headlock and digs his thumb right into the eye of Chaos, unseen by the ref. Chaos pushes him to the ropes and he bounces off, ducking under a clothesline attempt and sliding between Caffrey's legs. As Caffrey turns around, Chaos jumps up with a Thesz press! Raining down lefts and rights all over the leader of the AVA!
BB Gunn: BB taking the fight right to Caffrey, and we're just in the waking moments of this match!
Derrick Donovan: Chaos looking to make a statement, to prove to the world that the Natural Born Chaos isn't something to be laughed at!
Chaos delivers a jumping knee to the throat of the UnLegend, and makes an early pin attempt. Caffrey is an Iron Man though, and kicks out before the referee can get into position. Chaos goes right back to the striking game of his, delivering some brutal knees to the abdomen of Caffrey, but one slip up causes Caffrey to grab a leg and twist him around over for...
[...THE C.A.L....]
(Caffrey's Ankle Lock)
He drops down and grapevine's Chaos' leg with force, catching the other half of NBC off guard. He screams, and drags himself to the ropes, grasping onto and pulling himself out of the ring. But Caffrey doesn't let go, instead intending to snap that ankle clean in half!
BB Gunn: Caffrey has his signature submission locked in and Chaos is in for trouble!
Derrick Donovan: He's dragged himself out of the ring, but that put him in an even more precarious situation than he was in before! Now instead of just ankle breakage, he risks his entire left leg being snapped clean in half!
BB Gunn: And lord knows that wouldn't bode well for Chaos if he were to somehow beat Caffrey here, and walk into the PPV injured!
The referee counts Caffrey, but he doesn't budge until he gets to four. He then lets go, letting Chaos slink out of the ring. But the damage has been done. Chaos can hardly put any weight on the left leg, as he's hobbling around the ring pretty badly. A doctor walks over to him, but he shoves the doc off, opting to roll back into the ring to face Caffrey. Caffrey lunges for the leg, but Chaos sticks it out and big boots him! He feigned injury, and the veteran fell like.... i dunno, put some witty simile here.
Chaos begins to work on arms and shoulders of Caffrey, beginning with a few rough looking arm drags, some stiff knees to the shoulder blades, and then he sits Caffrey up on the mat for a shining wizard!
BB Gunn: Chaos, back in control after using some veteran instincts of his own on "The Man with Nine Nicknames."
Derrick Donovan: Both of these men know their ways around the books, and know the very limits they can cheat to.
Caffrey, now down on the mat, kicks at Chaos' left leg, tumbling him to his level. They grapple and roll about, each going one on top of the other, and beating the holy hell out of each other. Stiff strikes galore, there's no love lost between these two. Caffrey tries to land a cheap eye poke on Chaos, who promptly grabs his finger and "snaps" it. Anthony howls in pain as Chaos delivers a chop block to the AVA leader.
Chaos stomps on Caffrey's hand a bit more, really trying to prevent him from locking in any more submissions. He then transitions to some stiff rights to the forehead of Caffrey, causing a little bit of blood to ooze out. He then takes Caffrey and irish whips him, lifting him up for a Stun Gun! Chaos then drags Caffrey to the ropes, and hangs him over the second rope.
@d2: Oh no! He's not gonna punt Caffrey's skull into the post is he?
Chaos runs, and goes for a spinning heel kick! But Caffrey votes, and Chaos' shin goes right into the post! A resounding "CRACK" is heard as the man of chaos clutches his leg. Caffrey, smelling opportunity, grabs Chaos and suplexes him into the ring, and like a snake slithers around the injured leg for...
[...THE C.A.L....]
(Caffrey's Ankle Lock)
BB Gunn: The C.A.L.! It's all o-
[...DING DING! DING DING!...]
Before BB can finish his sentence, Chaos taps out! The pain is too much as the bell is called for, and Caffrey's arm is raised!
Derrick Donovan: Caffrey advances to the finals! Who will he face, The Anomoly or James Raymond?
BB Gunn: I think we'll find out, Dono- right after this segue!
We fade on Caffrey walking to the back, holding his possibly broken hand as Chaos is seen being helped to the back by a pair of doctors who'll surely examine his broken leg.
We cut to backstage where we see President Kanyon holding a picket sign that reads “Championship or Bust.”
Kanyon: Hell no! We won’t go! No justice! No peace! Give me a title shot or give me death!
Dustin Deflippo: Excuse me, excuse me! Mr. President!
Kanyon: Who the hell are you?
Dustin Deflippo: I’m the new backstage interviewer, Dustin Deflippo. BB's replacement, just hired a few thousand words ago so he can stay sat on commentary. What are you doing?
Kanyon: My right as a U.S. citizen to protest! I am a former AXW Undisputed Champion! I haven’t gotten my rematch! Jimmy Ray-ray lost the title faster than I could say “rematch.” I demand my title shot!
Dustin Deflippo: Well, you did lose out to Jimmy Ray-Ray again in the first round of the Scorpion Classic.
Kanyon: Yeah, because I didn’t want to jump through hoops! And I had a cold that day! And… I’m busy! Non-title matches are beneath me! I’m the president! You understand. And now here we are, still on the U.S. tour, and I’m not on the show…again! …Even though it’s beneath me. I’m complicated, but worth it! So I’m demanding my title match! I need to win that title back so that I could then kill the fed, so that I could then use the title to get back to the X*Crown.
Dustin Deflippo: Sir, with all due respect, why are you still harping on this very convoluted way to get to the X*Crown?
Kanyon: How so? It makes sense to me.
Dustin Deflippo: You know you don’t have to kill the fed to get an X*Crown shot. You could just find a way to get into the X*Crown title match as the AXW representative at Supremacy.
Kanyon: Is that a thing?
Dustin Deflippo: Um… yeah. Remember, you won the X*Crown representing AWF last year. You weren’t even a champion going into that match.
Kanyon: I had a briefcase. I seem to use those a lot. But shit, that’s right! Every time I’m not fighting “Price,” he’s in the X*Crown match. And when I do fight “Price,” I beat the shit out of him. So now that I’m not the world champion, I guess I am free to do that.
Dustin Deflippo: Yes sir.
Kanyon: I mean, I will still take the AXW world title and kill this place if the opportunity arises, but now I gotta make new signs! Thanks Darwin!
Dustin Deflippo: Dustin.
Kaynon: Don’t care.
President Kanyon walks off, still shouting chants as he looks for a marker.
The arena falls silent, and the opening riffs to "A New Level" by Pantera play. The crowd knows who this song is for, and they boo. They boo loudly, resentfully. Out from the curtain steps The Anomoly, who stands there enjoying the reaction of the crowd. He slowly walks down the aisle, brushing off a few fan's attempts at getting selfies and autographs with Mr. Undisputed. He reaches the ringside area, and climbs up the steps. He smirks, and enters the ring. He takes his gum and spits it into the crowd, and awaits the arrival of his opponent.
Derrick Donovan: What a garbage human. Fooling us all into thinking he's Rob Arnold. You know, I'd like to know who really is under that mask.
BB Gunn: I bet it's Copycat.
Derrick Donovan: Wouldn't be surprised, honestly.
Styles Clash plays through the PA system as the lights go out. After 23 seconds, the lights come back on and standing atop the stage is James Raymond. He looks out to the crowd with a smirk on his face before walking down the ramp and heading towards the ring.
Once he makes his way to ringside, he walks around the ring before grabbing the second rope and lifting himself up onto the ring apron and then looking out to the crowd. He hops over the top rope, and climbs up to the second rope and stretches his arms out. He hops off the second rope and stands in the corner, staring holes through Anomoly's mask.
BB Gunn: No love between these two.
Derrick Donovan: After the shenanigans these two pulled, I'm not surprised.
Scorpion Classic Semi-Finals Match
The Anomoly vs James Raymond
[...DING! DING!...]
At the sound of the bell Anomoly charges in, Raymond swings wildly but Anomoly baseball slides under his legs and latches on, rolling the Platinum Star up.
[...ONE!...]
[....TWO!...]
[...KICKOUT!...]
James Raymond rolls through the break, hops up and catches Anomoly who is back up as well with and arm drag. Both men are again to their feet. They run and Anomoly leaps and lands on Raymond for a hurricanrana but Raymond blocks it on the way down and slams Anomoly to the lat, flips over Mr. Undisputed and makes the pin.
[...ONE!...]
[...TWO!...]
[...KICKOUT...]
The kickout sends Raymond stumbling back as he regains his composure Anomoly quickly gets to a knee, straightening his mask as the two former champs stare each other down smiling at the back to back close falls.
Derrick Donovan: What a start to this match, break neck speed for both competitors.
BB Gunn: We knew this coming in, Dono. These two men have a respect and hatred towards each other that is befitting of a big time match. Here they go!
After a brief moment, Raymond steps back in and Anomoly meets him in the center of the ring as the two tie up. Anomoly gets a knee up and sends it into Raymond's ribs and whips him into the ropes. He jumps for a drop kick on the rebound but Raymond grabs the ropes and Anomoly eats the canvas. Quickly, Mr. Undisputed jumps back to his feet as James Raymond charges. Anomoly leaps over the ducking Platinum Star who hits the ropes, and is met this time with a perfectly timed drop kick, sending Raymond rolling out of the ring to regroup as he slaps the ring apron in frustration.
Derrick Donovan: Anomoly missed his mark on the first attempt but finds it on that one.
BB Gunn: Raymond is getting an ear full from the crowd here in Nashville. Wait..look out!
As Raymond mouths back and forth with a couple ringside fans he takes his eyes off of Anomoly who runs and hits the opposite side of the ropes and then speeds across the ring. As Raymond fakes a backhand to the fan and laughs he turns back to the ring just in time to see Anomoly launching himself through the ropes like a torpedo and crashing into Raymond. The two go slamming into the guardrail to the fans enjoyment.
Derrick Donovan: Tope Suicida!
BB Gunn: You take your eyes off your opponent for one second and bad things can and will happen, Dono. James should know better.
Derrick Donovan: Especially coming into this match. The two of them, both former champions, know what's on the line and have had a verbal sparring back and forth leading up to tonight. Anomoly has been playing mind games with the whole Rob Arnold imposter and Raymond with the fake Anomoly mask.
BB Gunn: It has definitely been heated and if either of these men want to advance to the finals, there is no room for error.
Anomoly pulls himself up and starts laying boots to Raymond. The ref yells out from inside the ring for the men to get back in but doesn't begin the count.
Derrick Donovan: The ref doing a good job here giving these two some space and letting it play out.
BB Gunn: Of course he is, this is AXW baby, we let the talent decide things around here.
Anomoly picks Raymond up and walks him over to the ring, pushing his body up on the apron and into the ring. He straightens his mask and slides in but Raymond has caught his breath and pounces with a knee to Anomoly's shoulder as he slides into the ring. He lifts Anomoly and points at him, laughing, before slapping him in the face. Anomoly comes to life with fire and punches back, landing a first to Raymond's jaw. The two begin trading shots. Lefts, rights, lefts, rights. Anomoly swings and Raymond leans back, dodging the blow and lands a forearm to Anomoly's head sending him into the corner. Raymond follows and grabs Anomoly's arm, sending him with force across the ring and into the opposite corner. James runs and with great impact lands a drop kick that sends Anomoly's head snapping back and he drops to a seated position.
BB Gunn: Holy hell! Did you see how his head snapped back.
Derrick Donovan: He is seeing stars for sure after that. Raymond slides out and is looking under the ring for something. Oh no! He's got a chair. This could get ugly
Raymond slides back in with the chair. The ref pleads with him to drop it but he ignores him setting the chair up into the turnbuckle right in front of Anomoly's face. As Raymond backs up with cruel intentions in mind the ref steps in between he and Anomoly, working on removing the chair. Raymond, frustrated, steps in and argues with the ref.
Derrick Donovan: Raymond lookout to end this with the chair but the ref tries to gain order in this match.
BB Gunn: Let 'em go!
Raymond tries to wrestle the chair away from the ref who has a good hold on the steel. Anomoly, in the middle of the ref and Raymond's game of tug of war, pulls himself to his feet. At the same time Raymond finally jerks the chair free. Anomoly sees an opening and runs in and smashes the chair with a claymore kick sending it ricocheting into Raymond's face. The chair bounces away as Raymond hits the mat and Anomoly makes a cover.
[...ONE!...]
[...TWO!...]
[...TH-KICKOUT!...]
Derrick Donovan: Three! No, Raymond just gets a shoulder up! Introducing the chair to the match proved costly there for The Platinum Star, BB.
BB Gunn: No kidding. I really do applaud the referee for letting this go. If he doesn't get order quick though, it could get ugly.
The ref stands after the two count and kicks the chair out of the ring. Anomoly rolls off of Raymond and out of the ring on the opposite side. He grabs Raymond's left and pulls him out under the ropes and down to the floor where Raymond is propped against the ring apron, out of it. Anomoly looks around and holds a finger to his lips, hushing the crowd who only respond with jeers, taunts and middle fingers. Anomoly unleashes a stiff chop to James' chest as the wooing from the crowd begins. Another chop. More "woos" Chops, woo, chop, woo. James Raymond's chest is a red, puffy, welted mess. Anomoly whips him from the apron into the guardrail and Raymond's momentum crashed him into and over the barricade, into the crowd.
Derrick Donovan: Spilling out into the audience here! These men are more worried about dishing out punishment than winning the match it seems.
BB Gunn: Who will be standing when this is all said and done, Dono?
Derrick Donovan: I don't know but I think the real question will there be anything left in them to compete in the finals?
Anomoly follows Raymond over the guardrail and they begin fighting up the lawn of the amphitheater, through the crowd. Instead of counting the ref follows behind them letting the two former champs go at it.
BB Gunn: Man these guys are trading shot for shot right now and the fans are eating it up. They love to see each of these guys get their comeuppance and watching it at the same time has to be satisfying.
James Raymond gets the upper hand once again as they have made their way to the top of the lawn section where concession vendors line a concourse. He whips Anomoly into a food stand, spilling drinks and making napkins fly into the air. Raymond follows right away as Anomoly is leaning into the stand. Superkick! No, Anomoly drops down just in time and Raymond misses but his leg gets stuck in a mesh net that holds lemons for a freshly squeezed beverages. Raymond tries to untangle his leg as he jumps on the other to keep his balance. Anomoly pulls himself back up and smiles behind his mask. He picks up an enormous bag of popcorn and swings with all his power. The plastic bag explodes and popcorn flies everywhere to huge cheers from the crowd, many who have crowded around to watch up close. The force of the popcorn hitting Raymond frees his leg and he falls to the ground.
BB Gunn: Anomoly just knocked him out with popcorn! This is great!
Derrick Donovan: It was popcorn... he didn't knock him out. He was on one leg and lost his balance when his other became unstuck.
BB Gunn: Whatever...look! Anomoly is snacking!
As Raymond falls and popcorn scatters everywhere, Anomoly scoops up a handful and lifts his mask over his mouth, shoveling a fist full of salty, buttery goodness in his mouth. He grabs a beer off the counter and takes a swig before slinging the rest on James Raymond as he makes it back to all fours.
Derrick Donovan: Oh come on, he is just adding insult to injury now. Oh nice take down!
Raymond shake the beer off his face and dives at Anomoly, catching him by surprise and taking him down to the soaked grass and the two start rolling around punching and blocking the best they can. Anomoly wrestles free and pulls himself up on the food stand but Raymond is right there on him. He delivers a forearm strike to the back of Anomoly's head, stunning him. Raymond grabs his head and slams it into the counter. The fans cheer. Again. He goes for a third smash but Anomoly gets his hands out to stop the blow, nails Raymond with an elbow to the gut and then grabs his head and slams it into the cash register. The register dings and flys open as coins and Bill's scatter about. James falls back holding his head as Anomoly grabs a handful of cash and shoves it in his tights.
Derrick Donovan: Did I just see that? Anomoly just stole some of that vendors money!
BB Gunn: Hey, times are tough, Dono.. Anomoly just wants a bit of a bonus for his efforts.
Derrick Donovan: And what effort it is, Raymond has been busted open BB.
The smash to the metal till split Raymond open just above his brow. Anomoly quickly hops onto the counter and reaches up to grab the awning above the concession stand. He pulls himself up and steadies himself and his weigh on the thin metal roof of the stand, high above James Raymond. Anomoly steps to the edge and turns around, his back facing Raymond.
Derrick Donovan: What is he doing? That tin roof is about to give!
Anomoly jumps back and flips for the inverted 450 splash. Just before impact, Raymond gets his knees up and they crush Anomoly's chest. You can hear the wind escape him as he bounces off and clutches his chest. James Raymond screams out and grabs his knee, the splash clearly tweaking something in the Platinum Star's knee or leg. He rolls over and tried to stand and almost falls. He limps over to Anomoly and drops an elbow on him. The ref is explaining that this match can not finish up here and Raymond nods as he begins to drag Anomoly down the hill, favoring his leg greatly.
BB Gunn: What a daring move by Anomoly and it didn't pay off as James Raymond got the knees up.
Derrick Donovan: Yeah but I'm not sure who came out better there, the knee is clearly bothering Raymond.
Raymond continues dragging Anomoly down the hill. It is all dead weight which is really draining James. As the get close to the bottom near ringside, Anomoly lunges and connects with a low blow uppercut. Raymond doubles over.
Derrick Donovan: That snake! Anomoly made Raymond exert all of that energy and just hit him with a cheap shot. Wait, what is Raymond doing?
BB Gunn: Looks like he wants a bonus too, Dono!
Raymond had dropped to his knees after the cheapshot and after the first shock of pain subsided he began to rummage through a fans purse that lay under a seat. Anomoly gets to his feet and begins to lift Raymond. Once up, Raymond shrugs off Anomoly's hands creating and opening and connects with a right hand that sends Mr. Undisputed down, hard. Anomoly grabs his head and Raymond smiles, dangling a set of keys up for the cheering crowd to see.
Derrick Donovan: My God, I think Raymond had those keys sticking out of his fist on that punch!
BB Gunn: He did! Look at Anomoly, he appears to be bleeding now.
As Anomoly rubs his head, the mask darkens, definitely showing signs of blood. James Raymond kneels down and digs the key into Anomoly's skull.
Derrick Donovan: He is keying him!
BB Gunn: This is the damndest thing I've ever seen, Dono. Anomoly is a car and Raymond is the jealous ex-girlfriend!
The ref works his way in between Raymond and Anomoly as Raymond tries to key Anomoly bad enough that Carrie Underwood would be proud.... The ref finally creates some separation as James Raymond stands and holds the keys up again before throwing them at Anomoly who is in a lot of pain and holding the gash in his head, his mask ripped enough to show his blood matted hair.
Derrick Donovan: Thank goodness the ref got control there, I'm not sure Raymond was going to stop.
BB Gunn: Blood for blood here in the AXW. These two don't care what they have to do to make it to the finals of the Scorpion Classic.
The crowd is in a frenzy right now as James Raymond walks back to the barricade and climbs back over to ringside. He pull himself up on the apron and raises his arms to cheers and jeers, his crimson face covered with achievement. Anomoly crawls back down and pulls himself over and falls to the padded ringside surface, breathing heavily.
Derrick Donovan: James is really playing up to the crowd here. Meanwhile Anomoly is back to the ring, leaning against it, trying to gather himself.
BB Gunn: What's he reaching for?
James Raymond sees his opponent leaning back against the apron and walks over to him. He bends down and grabs Anomoly's head but before he can lift, Anomoly swings his arms up, holding the chair from earlier and dents it over Raymond's head.
Derrick Donovan: Oh! Raymond is down! What awareness on Anomoly's part. He slides back into the ring and drapes an arm over Raymond!
[...ONE!...]
[...TWO!...]
[...THR-KICKOUT!...]
BB Gunn: He just gets a shoulder up! That was so close!
Derrick Donovan: Anomoly is spent, he really thought he had it there.
Anomoly crawls over and pulls himself up. He is breathing heavy heavy but manages to motion to the crowd that it's over. He walks over and lifts James Raymond up and sends him into the ropes.
BB Gunn: Here it comes! ANARKY BOM-
Derrick Donovan: Superkick! Anomoly is down!
As Anomoly lifted James Raymond up for his pop up powerbomb finisher, Raymond was able to push off and land on his feet and deliver a swift superkick. The chair shot still weighing heavily makes him unable to cover as he stumbles back into the corner. He looks at Anomoly who is laying in the middle of the ring and then at the turnbuckle. The crowd begin a "this is awesome" chant and Raymond begins to ascend.
Derrick Donovan: Raymond taking a long time here, BB. Still favoring the knee.
BB Gunn: It doesn't matter, if Raymond hits this it could be over!
Raymond leaps, with a picture perfect shooting star press and lands with his knees right into the midsection of Anomoly. He rolls off in pain, again clutching his knees.
Derrick Donovan: He just did more damage to his already hurt knee. Can he get over there!
BB Gunn: He covers!
[...ONE!...]
[...TWO!...]
[...THR-KICKOUT!...]
Derrick Donovan: Anomoly barely escapes defeat!
BB Gunn: And James Raymond is letting the ref hear his frustrations. He knows it was three.
Derrick Donovan: Not according to the man in charge.
James Raymond stops arguing when he notices Anomoly crawling towards the ropes. Anomoly grabs on and can not find the strength to lift himself up. Raymond measures him as he moves over to the opposite side of the ring. He charges in, Anomoly set up perfectly for The Broken Platinum. Just before Anomoly is put down, he jumps out of the way and Raymond's knees slam into the cable ropes.
Derrick Donovan: Anomoly, with desperation, avoids that knee. Raymond is hobbling!
BB Gunn: Chop Block!
Hurt by the ropes, Raymond danced around grabbing his knee. Anomoly dove in for the chop block and immediately jumps back up. He grabs Raymond's legs and drags him into the middle of the ring before locking in
[PULL THE PLUG]
(Sharpshooter)
Derrick Donovan: Pull the Plug! Raymond has nowhere to go!
James Raymond screams in pain. He reaches and claws trying to move Anomoly. He's fighting with all his energy as the blood pours down his face. Inch by inch he moves Anomoly a little closer to the ropes.
BB Gunn: Raymond is almost to the ropes! Reach! He is within a foot!
Anomoly looks back and sees Raymond almost had the ropes. He waits until Raymond stops for a second to make one last effort and Anomoly uses that window to stand, and drag Raymond back to the center, this time wrenching back with every ounce of energy he has. The fans are rocking. Raymond tries to push up again but falls back to the mat. And begins tapping the mat.
Derrick Donovan: It's over!
[...DING! DING! DING!...]
Your winner by submission and advancing to the finals of The Scorpion Classic! ANOMOLY!
BB Gunn: What a match, these two former champs beat the hell out of each other tonight but only one could love on and that is Mr. Undisputed, The Anomoly!
Derrick Donovan: He moves on to the final round of the classic for the number one contendership! Who will be the champion though? We find out next in our main event, where Nate Pierce takes on the challenger, Duke Kosloff! Stay tuned!
Anomoly holds his head and torn mask as the ref raises his other hand. The scene fades to a break.
After the commercial break we cut to Derrick Donovan and BB Gunn standing in the ring, microphones in hand and faces of excitement building up.
Derrick Donovan: Well, BB. The time has finally arrived! I know you've been looking forward to this announcement and so have I.
BB Gunn: It's true, I've waited since the start of the show and with the Main Event coming up soon... We have one special announcement to make.
Derrick Donovan: On the 21st of December, AXW will hold it's final PPV and show of 2018.
BB Gunn: It will hold the Finals to The Scorpion Classic, between The Anomoly and Anthony Caffrey and whoever wins that match will face either Nate Pierce or Duke Kosloff for the AXW Undisputed Championship that same night.
The crowd duke back and forth with chants.
[...LET'S GO CAFFREY!!...]
[...A-NOM-O-LY!!...]
[...LET'S GO CAFFREY!!...]
[...A-NOM-O-LY!!...]
Derrick Donovan: It will be a challenge to both men when they meet in the finals, we will also have Roger Riggs finally challenging for the XHF European Championship against Dreadvan.
[DREAD-VAN! clapclapclap DREAD-VAN! clapclapclap DREAD-VAN! clapclapclap]
[ROD-GER RIGGS! clap clap clapclapclap ROD-GER RIGGS! clap clap clapclapclap]
BB Gunn: But, you all want to know the name of the show, right?
[YEAH!!]
Then all the spotlights that shines into the open area turn off, everyone in the crowd stand to their feet, and then they pay attention to the stage. Then, one image pops up on the tron and it sends the fans to a frenzy.
As the music plays out through the PA, everyone has pulled their cellphones out and pointed at the stage. Finally, V steps out from behind the curtain to an uproar from the fans. He makes his way to the ring and climbs the steps and enters the ring, with Derrick Donovan handing him a third microphone.
V: 21st day of the 12th month, we bring you... The Classic, A show like no other. We are AXW and... We... Are...
[ANONYMOUS!]
One image fills the screen, proving the truth in "The Classic"...
V steps out of the ring and heads back up the entrance ramp as his music plays once again, both BB and Derrick get back to the announce table, in preparation for the final match, the Main Event.
The arena goes dark red and gold lights start to flash as the arena fills with smoke. A monster slowly appears walking down the ramp as pyros shoot flames into the air you can hear Enter Sandman by Metallica playing. He methodically enters the ring stepping over the top rope and standing like a God in the center of the ring as he waits for the bell to ring.
The opening of "Black or White" starts to play up and as it further progresses into the harder riffs, Nate Pierce steps out onto the stage with his arms spread wide with a big grin on his face as he looks out into the crowd. Returning his arms to his sides, he starts striding his way down the aisle, exchanging high fives with some fans on the way down before rolling into the ring and jumping up onto the near turnbuckle, raising his arms up to more cheers from the crowd. Climbing down from the spot, he moves over to the far side of the ring, pacing in his corner as he holds his AXW Undisputed Championship in the air. A robotic voice echos through the venue.

The fans erupt with support for the AXW Undisputed Champion. He kisses his belt and hands it to the ref, who shows it to Duke Kosloff. He wipes the kiss off of the championship and sneers at Pierce, who glares in response. The ref holds the championship high up for the world to see, and then hands it to a ringside attendant.
BB Gunn: It's time Dono! Do you feel it?
Derrick Donovan: The Mountain Dew you spilled on me during introductions?
BB Gunn: No, silly! The electricity in the air! It's main event time! And oh, oops?
AXW Undisputed Championship Match
Nate Pierce© vs Duke Kosloff
[..DING! DING!...]
Both men stand across the ring from each other. Pierce is showing his displeasure at the gesture by Duke Kosloff and Duke is returning the intensity through his stare. Duke offers the test of strength to Pierce, who hesitates before looking out into the crowd. They tell him not to accept the proposal as Duke is probably up to something, Nate doesn't get chance to decide though. As he turns around, the side of his head is met by a heavy right boot from Duke Kosloff! Pierce is rocked as Duke follows up with a series of heavy shots to the midsection of Pierce!
Derrick Donovan: Well Duke certainly isn't here to mess around today!
BB Gunn: He sure isn't! He's come to play and the Russian has every intention of taking the Gold from Pierce tonight!
Duke has the Champion on the ropes as Pierce tries to find an opening, while still protecting himself. Duke takes a step back and looks to send Pierce over the top rope, but Pierce sidesteps, sending Kosloff onto the apron and following up with a meaty Right hand under the jaw, sending Duke tumbling to the outside!
[...LET'S GO PIERCE! CLAP! CLAP! CLAPCLAPCLAP!...]
Duke nurses his jaw aswell as his pride on the outside of the ring as Pierce celebrates.
BB Gunn: It seems Duke thought he had it all sewn up within the first minute of this contest!
Derrick Donovan: That's the thing, Gunn! You might knock Pierce down, but the guy is practically the definition of tenacity! He can keep coming back for more all night! You just can't write him off at any point!
Duke yells at the Referee to keep Pierce backed into the corner as he gets into the ring. The Referee obliges as Pierce rolls his eyes at Duke before doing as he is instructed. Duke milks it a little before slowly climbing the stairs and stepping over the top rope. Immediately, both men charge at one another and start hammering away. Rights and Lefts are flying and no one can make out which man seems to have the advantage. Duke backs Pierce into the ropes, only for Pierce to reverse the pressure and to back Duke into the opposite ropes. Both men now have a vice like grip on each other with one hand, while still trying to maintain the offence with the other hand. Eventually the Referee manages to separate both men, but Duke immediately follows up with a rake to the eyes! Pierce is blind and Duke smiles in a sinister manner at the Referee as he gets castigated for his efforts.
Derrick Donovan: Well we are seeing shades of the old Duke Kosloff now!
BB Gunn: For sure! The monster is out tonight and Duke is here to punish Pierce and take that title by any means necessary!
Duke gets past the Referee and manages to get hold of Pierce by the head. He throws a swift European Uppercut right under his jaw, leaving him sprawling in the corner, trying to clear out the cobwebs. Duke yells taunts at the Champion before coming charging in....Right into the right foot of Nate Pierce! Duke's jaw snaps back and all of a sudden, Nate Pierce has a little breathing room! Pierce takes a second to suss out his whereabouts before coming across the ring with a Clothesline, taking down the giant!
Derrick Donovan: Now that's new territory for Duke Kosloff! He's not used to facing men so close to his own size and Nate Pierce is well known for his brute strength!
BB Gunn: You know the match could well be decided by how well Duke manages to regain that composure after that! Though with his size, the same could be said for Nate Pierce!
Derrick Donovan: It's almost ironic that with two absolute powerhouses in the ring, we are looking to mindset and the mental aspect of the game in order to call a winner!
Pierce locks in a rear chinlock on Kosloff, who immediately starts to reach for the ropes. Nate anticipates the move, however and guides Duke so he's facing the other side of the ring, leaving him 2/3 of the ring to cover before he can reach them.
Derrick Donovan: Absolute expert ring awareness by the Champion there!
Duke's face starts to turn a deep shade of red with a mixture of the lack of Oxygen and frustration at the situation as Pierce masterfully retains control of him. The Referee is in and checking on Duke, who screams at him in two languages that he isn't willing to give this match up. After several failed attempts at making the ropes, Duke manages to create some space and drives his head backwards into the jaw of Pierce, rocking him and loosening his grip. Duke does it again, this time the loose grip allows him to connect his occipital bone with the bridge of Pierce's nose! Pierce instantly releases the grip on Duke as his nose splits open!
BB Gunn: Oh shit! Kosloff just clean headbutted the nose off Pierce's face!
Duke takes a second to shake out the likely concussion he picked up there and follows the blood trail right across the ring. Nate Pierce has the Referee trying to stem the blood flow, which is trickling onto the mat at a fair pace. Pierce shoves the Referee away right as Duke is bearing down on him. Duke immediately goes low with the boot as the Referee is distracted by the shove. The Referee turns around to see Pierce on one knee, pain etched across his face and a resounding groan coming from the male members of the audience, who sympathise with his pain.
Derrick Donovan: A low, low move from the challenger!
BB Gunn: No shit, Sherlock! They call it a low blow for a reason!
Derrick Donovan: OK, smart arse, let's keep tactics like that out of an Undisputed Championship match!
Duke grabs Pierce by the throat. The vice like grip distracts Pierce from the pain below, but not before...

Derrick Donovan: Pierce did well to get his shoulder up then! Two attacks like that, back to back could put away even the strongest man!
BB Gunn: Well not my boy, Nate! He's got this and no overblown Ruski is going to put him away that easily!
Duke screams at the Referee to count quicker as he goes for another cover!
[...ONE!...]
[...TW- KICKOUT!...]
Derrick Donovan: Well no questioning that one!
Another few words in Russian from Duke Kosloff as he starts pulling Pierce to his feet. He whips Nate into the far corner and attempts the Spear, but Nate slams down on his back with a double axehandle, sending him to one knee and Nate takes position and manages to haul Duke over with a Deadlift Gutwrench Suplex! The ring shakes and Pierce's nose continues to gush blood from the exertion of lifting a near 320 pound man! Both men lay flat on the ground and the Referee debates starting the count, but due to it being an Undisputed Championship match, he decides against it!
BB Gunn: My man! The Referee knows with the Classic right around the corner, he needs to declare a winner tonight! A tie is no good to anyone and only muddies the waters of the tournament! Bravo, Ref!
Derrick Donovan: That might be the most logical thing you've said all night! But let me ask you. You're Duke Kosloff and coming into this match. How do you approach it? You're taking on the AXW Undisputed Champion. A man that has NEVER been pinned or submitted here in AXW. How do you approach that?
BB Gunn: Well I'm assuming with a good fucking game plan! Then again, we see Kosloff for the meat head he is... Did Chaos influence his mentality? Who knows! Either way, both men know that they aren't walking out of this ring with that title without giving it every drop of blood and sweat tonight!
Pierce is starting to show signs of life and rolls from the pool of blood, which is soaking into the mat and drops an arm across Duke!

Derrick Donovan: So close! After all that time that it took Nate to recover there, we have to wonder if he had made the cover sooner, would this be over?
BB Gunn: Ah, I don't know. I get the feeling Duke was making the most of every second he had to get his wind back there.
Pierce pounds the mat in frustration before getting back to his feet. He rolls Kosloff into position and applies a Camel Clutch! Duke fights the hold and quickly manages to get to a vertical base. Pierce holds on for dear life with what now looks like a badly applied sleeper hold. He tries to get his feet onto the ground, but the pace Duke is moving around leaves Pierce unable to get a vertical base! Duke makes one last gasp attempt to break free, but in doing so, throws himself back into the Referee! The Referee manages to end up between Duke, Nate and the turnbuckles!
Derrick Donovan: The Ref's out! He's out!
Duke gasps for air, having finally broken the hold as Pierce checks on the Referee. Duke slides out of the ring and grabs a steel chair! Pierce is totally oblivious as Duke circles the ring! All of a sudden BB Gunn grabs the chair!
