Freelancers and Local Talent

In order to enhance GLLI, there are two groups of wrestlers that may from time to time appear on GLLI Shows. They are Freelancers and Local Talent.

You are welcome and invited to request to be booked against either Freelancers or Local Talent on a show, but you will need to write the match. This is a great way to get your character over, especially if you wish to write an angle.

LOCAL TALENT

These are the lowest luchadors on the hierarchy. These are local wrestlers are are used as enhancement talent in squash matches against other wrestlers. You are free to handle a Local Talent if you like but they remain GLLI property and should not be used outside of GLLI.

FREELANCERS

Above the Local Talent are the Freelancers. These wrestlers are from all over Texas and Northern Mexico and will often beat the Local Talent if required. You are free to handle a Freelancers if you like but they remain GLLI property and should not be used outside of GLLI.

Name: Mr Terrible
From: El Paso, Texas

Appearance: Looks more like a male stripper than a wrestler, who is now in his late 30’s. He has a horrible bleach hair dye job for his long hair which is tied back in a pony tail but shaved in the sides. He has black and blue tights and wears a mesh T-shirt.
Additional Info: Very unpopular with the fans, mostly because of his appearance.

Name: Perry Hager
From: El Paso, Texas
Disposition: Rudo
Height: 6’1
Weight: 205lbs
Style: US Brawler
Appearance: Biker trunks, kick pads and wears a sleeveless hoodie to the ring. He has an army style crew cut, and a good physic.
Additional Info: Looks and acts like a US Indy wrestler from the late 1990s.
Finisher: Superkick

Name: Mr Policia
From: Juarez, Mexico
Disposition: Rudo
Height: 5’8
Weight: 192lbs
Style: Lucha High Flyer
Appearance: Dresses as a policeman, with matching black mask. His outfit is black and grey.
Additional Info: Flys around the ring well, has been on the scene for a long time but never gone anyway. Often brings a weapon to the ring such as handcuffs or a baton.

Name: Bello Blanco
From: Tijuana, MX
Disposition: Technico
Height: 5’7
Weight: 187lbs
Style: Junior Heavyweight
Appearance: A gold, black and silver bodysuit with matching mask that has a silver spider on the forehead.
Additional Info: Looked to have a bright future as a high flyer but suffered a nasty knee injury that he has never been able to fully recover from.
Finisher: Cannon Ball in the corner

Name: Keta
From: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Disposition: Technico
Height: 5’10
Weight: 200lbs
Style: Flyer
Appearance: A bright lime green outfit, that is basically green tights and singlet with matching mask.
Additional Info: Well known in Puerto Rico as a talented high flyer, Keta often makes tours of Mexico for several months at a time.

Name: Pepe Torres
From: Torreón, Coahuila
Disposition: Rudo
Height: 6
Weight: 239lbs
Style: Veteran Brawler
Appearance: Black trunks, knee pads, boots and a cowboy hat. He has short, thinning and black hair with a small moustache.
Additional Info: Once looked like he was going to be a star in Mexico City, it never really happened for Torres who is now in his early 50s, but still making independent appearances.
Finisher: Boston Crab
