We see Sheriff Law sitting in some kind of bar, a pint of beer in one hand, cigarette in the other. The scene has a very wild wild west feel to it, some sort of cow-town of times gone by. The server comes up to him and slams his hand on the bar-top, he's a massive man with a monster like arm, hairy from top-to-toe, dirty from head-to-foot, greasy all over.
Server: What can I get ya?
His voice is deep and gruff, booming throughout the saloon, Law checks him up and down before answering.
Sheriff Law: Ya can get me some gracefulness.
The server looks at him inquiringly, people start to quieten down, the atmosphere getting tense.
Server: What?
Law stands up from his seat and lights the cigarette, placing it into his mouth and staring out into the black abyss of gloomy faces. The piano cliche becomes reality, everything is stopped - silence ensues.
Sheriff Law: What is this world coming to? Do we really wanna bring our children up in an age where bein' gay with another man is seen as holy? Uh uh. That's not what the bible taught us. Where's the grace boys?
Where's the grace?
The server is still perplexed as to what the hell Law is going on about - as are everyone else in the bar. He sneers his nose before taking a puff of the cigar and a sip of his pint.
Sheriff Law: Where's our values gone? Eh? The tough and gruff men of times gone past that'd fight to death in honor of protecting their families? Where's the men that'd take a stand to all homosexuality and protect their loved ones from the wretchedness that plague gay minds. Where's the grace boys?
Where is the grace?
He takes another puff, finishes up his round of beer, and slams the mug back onto the counter. People are starting to understand what he is getting at, slowly nodding their heads in agreement.
Sheriff Law: Gays will soon be runnin' the planet.
That, that is called disgrace boys.
How does it make ya feel? Doin' nothin' about it? If ma son or daughter were to ever come out as one of them feeble minded I'd disown them in an instance - crack 'em with the whip and teach 'em some lesson in gracefulness.
We need to make sure the straights are the last men standin'
He takes an extra long puff of his cigar this time, finishing it up by slamming his foot on the ground and heading towards the exit.
Imma be the last man standin'
Ricky Jackson, idol of the gays, you will die by a straight man's hand.
That, that is called grace.
OOC:
This character in no way shape or form reflects my personal opinions, views or beliefs about the modern world. The character is presented as such a controversial figure to bring light to the prejudice that many people have to face - and show how they overcome it. Sheriff Law is a bad guy through and through; his words should never be taken as words of wisdom; they’re radical and stupendous remarks caused for controversy and reaction. I apologise if this has personally offended anyone; a personal attack was never intended - Only to create the most despicable antagonist you can’t wait to watch as they get their ass handed to.
