TOMMY ONIONS: After last show Erik got himself added to this match. Stealing the championship belt doesn’t make you the champion.
JOSEPH GREER: So true, but the boss ordered Erik to give the belt back but had to bribe him with being in this match.
TOMMY ONIONS: It was supposed to be a one on one match for the belt but meddling from the new guy got him a shot at Rob’s belt.
JOSEPH GREER: What do you make of Frank’s announcement earlier?
TOMMY ONIONS: Bit strange.
The camera feed cuts to the ring where RSW’s ring announcer, Bob Mooney, standing in the centre of the ring.
BOB MOONEY: Introducing first, a member of Awoken, Erik Black!
“Crossfire” by Stevie Ray Vaughn begins playing as Erik Black walks out from the back. He cracks his neck as the fans boo him and then makes his way down to the ring.
BOB MOONEY: And his first opponent, the former two-times RSW World Champion, it is Shane Mitchell!!!
“Fool’s Gold” by the Stone Roses begins playing as Shane Mitchell walks out from the back. He makes his way down to the ring.
BOB MOONEY: And the third person in this match is none other than the current RSW World Heavyweight Champion, he is one of the Bastards, he is Rob Riot!!!!!!
**I FEEEEEEEEELLLLL YOU!**
There’s a huge pop in the forest as Rob Riot’s music begins to play, and his video kicks into life on the big screen in black and white. Red and white spotlights pan across the crowd as it rises to its feet in anticipation of the Riot Star’s arrival.
The ovation is louder than the ones the others in the match have received. The RSW World Champion, Rob Riot appear on the stage, title wrapped around his waist. He takes in the ovation before focusing on the ring and walking down quickly. He climbs up the steps and turns to the crowd to the left, before climbing in and going into a corner. He raises his arms into the air, eliciting more cheers from the audience.
TOMMY ONIONS: Riot’s got lots of fans in here tonight.
JOSEPH GREER: The Bastards are always getting cheers Tommy.
Rob climbs down and hands the RSW World Championship over to the referee, who lets Erik and Shane have a look at it. Rob quickly glances at it before telling the referee he is ready. The bell rings.
TOMMY ONIONS: And here we go.
JOSEPH GREER: This is going to be a cool main event for our biggest pay per view of the year.
TOMMY ONIONS: I always love this pay per view.
And that is enough for Riot who begins trading punches with both men. Shane lunges at Erik, only to be caught by an Irish whip from Riot that sends him to the far ropes. On the return, he is forced to leap over Riot, who has bent over for a back body drop. As he leapfrogs he is left in perfect position for a dropkick from Erik. Wasting no time, Erik places a knee on either of Shane’s shoulders and begins pummelling him with rights and lefts to the face.
TOMMY ONIONS: This is what RSW is all about. Fair competition man?
JOSEPH GREER: Yeah, I agree.
Riot turns quickly and pulls Erik off of Shane, and the two men exchange words. Shane gets to his feet and shoves Erik hard in the back, which sends him careening into Riot. The two men have been close enough when the push occurs that their heads connect with one another, and Shane looks for the quick roll-up, hooking Erik with an inside cradle.

………………2
……………….Kick Out!
JOSEPH GREER: That is close for Shane.
While both Riot and Shane are noted for their technical skill in the ring, this is more than that……..more like a brawl. However, when Shane starts to gain the advantage, Riot wastes no time in catching one of his punches and sending him towards the ropes with an Irish whip. Unfortunately for Shane, his collision with the ropes isn’t meant to be, and he is met with a clothesline from Erik. Riot grabs Erik by the neck and tosses him to the outside of the ring.
TOMMY ONIONS: Looks like Riot wants to go one on one with Shane?
JOSEPH GREER: Erik did sort of throw himself into this match.
Turning his attention back to Shane, Riot pulls him up from the mat and hoists him into the air for a vertical suplex, only to have Shane flip free and land behind him. Wasting no time, Shane quickly drops Riot to the mat with a falling reverse neck breaker, rolling on top of Riot almost immediately for the cover.

…………………..2
…………………..The fans are divided in support, but the roar is deafening when Riot gets a shoulder up just after the second count.
TOMMY ONIONS: The fans love the Bastards. They’ve chosen well.
JOSEPH GREER: Well they can’t cheer for the Awoken can they?
TOMMY ONIONS: More chance of people cheering for Trump than them.
JOSEPH GREER: No politics.
Outside the ring Erik reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. Sliding into the ring, Erik gets quickly to his feet and charges at his opponents, but with the table effectively blocking his view, he is unaware that Shane has seen him out of the corner of his eye and is prepared for the charge. Sidestepping Erik, Shane executes a drop toehold that sends Erik crashing forward into Riot and sandwiched the table between the two superstars.
JOSEPH GREER: This is going get brutal!!!
Quickly getting back to his feet, Shane backs away a few steps in order to get a running start, which allows him to dive onto the top of the pile, eliciting a huge cheer from around the ring and groans from the men beneath him. Satisfied that he’s have a moment’s peace, Shane pulls Erik off of the top of the pile and then proceeds to set the table up near the ropes. No sooner has he ensured that the legs are indeed locked into place, Shane finds himself pulled quickly around and into an Irish whip by Erik; however, Shane uses his size advantage to reverse the whip and sends Erik hurtling towards the opposite ropes, though he has to leap over Riot to get to them. On the return, Erik drops an elbow onto the still-prone Riot, but this in turn leaves him easy prey for Shane, who lifts him up and executes a suplex. Erik’s impact with the table is doubly sickening because it fails to break, leaving him clutching his back as Shane turns his attention back to Riot.
TOMMY ONIONS: Holy Shit!!!
JOSEPH GREER: This is what RSW is all about!!!
Shane being quite an honourable man waits until Riot is standing. Shane finally decides he stalls long enough, and the two circle each other. In a lockup, Shane immediately gets thrown into the corner, as he stares back at Riot, who flexes for a moment to the crowd’s approval. Shane shakes his head at Riot, and Riot gets goaded into charging Shane, who happily gives Riot a drop toe hold face first into the top turnbuckle.
JOSEPH GREER: That looked painful?
TOMMY ONIONS: OWW!!! Yeah!
Riot stumbles backwards, making sure his nose is still there. Shane jumps onto the top rope and dove for a cross body splash….only to be caught by Riot and turns it into a fall-a-way slam. Riot slaps his hands together for a job well done, but is slow to get up, as Shane gets up first and chops at Riot’s knee; And again; And one more time. With the champ holding his knee, Shane runs to the far turnbuckle, bounces off the rope, and returns to Riot by jumping up onto his shoulders from Riot’s front side, and amazingly flipping Riot over in an impressive Hurricanrana. Shane goes for a cover.

…………2
………..Powerful kick out as Shane flies and lands on his feet behind the referee.
TOMMY ONIONS: Shane going airborne?
Slightly surprised, Shane runs at Riot and drop kicks him in the back of the head. Riot falls face first, shaking his head to rid the cobwebs. Shane takes this moment to try and get the crowd behind him, to which he gets a healthy chorus of cheers. Shane goes back to Riot, who is halfway up. Shane helps him up and begins to Irish whip him into the ropes, but gets reversed by Riot…Boot to the Head!!!!!!
JOSEPH GREER: He got the extra point!
Riot picks Shane up by the throat, and raises him high over his head in a blatant choke. The referee comes so close to disqualifying the frustrated Riot before he drops Shane down like a sack of spuds. He goes for the cover.
……..1
……….2
…….Kick out.
JOSEPH GREER: He getting frustrated.
Riot glares at the referee while picking up Shane by the head. Once he has him up, Riot locks his arms around him and executes a flawless belly to belly suplex. As he gets up, Riot looks at Shane, then at the turnbuckle. He grins as he heads for it. The arena stands to its feet as a buzz grows loudly. He begins to climb the ropes. As Riot stood there, he gestures to the crowd with a thumbs down motion, as he leaps from the turnbuckle. Unfortunately, no one is home. Shane moves, and Riot lands hard, knocking the wind out of him, as a huge groan came from the crowd.
JOSEPH GREER: A flying Riot? More like a crash landing blimp!!!
Shane gingerly gets up, reaching at his back a bit in mild pain. Riot turns on his back, holding his abdominal area in pain from the impact of his flight. Shane decides he needs to end this quick. But they have forgotten about Erik. Shane is met with a shot to the back of the head from a piece of the table knocking him down and out of the ring.
JOSEPH GREER: Ouch, that hurts!
Erik notices Riot is down and goes to the opposite corner and prepares to unleash a big time move. He leaps and lands right across Riot with a Splash. In one swift move, Riot sits upright, right arm outstretched, as he wraps a large hand around Erik’s throat. Erik shows signs of shock. He begins running in motion as Riot raises him high over his head, holding the pose for 3 seconds, and then dropping Erik down to the mat with a big time Choke Slam. Laying across Erik with all his weight the referee makes the count.
……….1
………..2
………Kick Out!!!!
JOSEPH GREER: Choke Slam? He ain’t a lumbering monster so why?
TOMMY ONIONS: They’ve got to do anything to win this.
All three men slowly get back to their feet. Instantly all three men begin throwing punches at each other, but wisely Shane and Erik begin concentrating their efforts on the champion. Upon staggering him, they whip him to the ropes and go for a double clothesline on the rebound, but Riot ducks under it and comes with a clothesline on both men. He pulls Erik back up and whips him into the corner, following after him with a crushing avalanche. Erik stumbles out of the corner and drops to one knee. The champion locks on a front face lock but Shane comes from behind with a forearm to Riot’s lower back, spins him around. He then delivers a throat strike that leaves the champion coughing. Erik stands up and charges the champion, but Riot steps aside and it’s Shane who is speared to the canvas.
JOSEPH GREER: All three men are battling for the dominant position here.
TOMMY ONIONS: So far I’ve got to call it dead even.
Riot grabs Erik as he stand up and executes a cringe-inducing release German suplex. He follows up with a splash and goes for the cover.
…………..1
………….2
…………….Shane breaks it up. Shane tries for another strike to the throat, but Riot is able to block it. The champion swings a right hand, but Shane blocks that and goes for a slam. Riot’s weight proves to be too much for him however and Riot dazes him with an elbow smash. He follows up with a snap suplex and Erik then knocks him to the outside as he gets back up. Erik pulls Shane up, whips him to the ropes and then catches him for a standing release spine buster.
JOSEPH GREER: What a spine buster by Erik!
TOMMY ONIONS: Riot’s got to get back in the ring! He can lose the title without even being pinned here!
Erik drops a series of elbows and knees on Shane, keeping him battered and down on the mat. Riot climbs up onto the apron and grabs Erik from behind. He procures a three-quarter nelson on him and then drops to the floor, snapping Erik’s throat on the top rope. Riot slides into the ring but is met by a series of kicks from Shane. The former champ then picks Riot up, applies an inverted face lock and drops him with a reverse DDT.
JOSEPH GREER: Wicked reverse DDT from Shane!
TOMMY ONIONS: He’s going up top!
Shane scales the ropes, facing the crowd, and upon reaching the top, backflips off with a moonsault, wowing the crowd; their awe changes to groans of empathy soon after though, as Riot is able to bring up his knees to catch Shane in the midsection. The champion pulls himself to his feet and the crowd begins to roar. Riot grabs Shane in a bear hug and plants him with a devastating belly-to-belly suplex. He then quickly begins to scale the ropes.
JOSEPH GREER: Riot may be going for a splash here!
TOMMY ONIONS: If he hits this, it’s over!
Riot reaches the top rope, but before he’s able to jump, Erik comes out of nowhere and knocks his feet out from under him, crotching him on the top rope. Just then, Shane comes from behind, spins Erik around, and kicks him in the midsection. The crowd explodes when Shane follows up with the jumping cutter.
JOSEPH GREER: Big time move! We may have a new champion!
Shane collapses on top of Erik and hooks a leg. The referee counts.
……………1
…………….2
…………but Erik gets a foot on the ropes before the three.
TOMMY ONIONS: No! It’s still on! Erik got a foot on the ropes!
JOSEPH GREER: There’s no quit in any of these men!
Shane grabs Erik and throws him to the outside. He then climbs up behind the still-recovering Riot and locks him in a sleeper hold.
JOSEPH GREER: Submission hold on the champion! Riot may be choked out!
TOMMY ONIONS: But he can’t win while Riot’s perched on the top rope!
Shane releases the hold and tries to pull Riot away from the ropes, but the champion firmly hangs on. He then throws a few back elbows into Shane’s solar plexus, stands up on the middle rope, and falls backward, sending both he and Shane colliding into the mat.
JOSEPH GREER: Good God! Riot with a desperation move and now all three men are down!
TOMMY ONIONS: Erik’s starting to stir on the outside! He could sneak a win here if he wants it bad enough!
Suddenly the crowd begins to part and cheers erupt all over the arena as Frank Windsor hops over the railing. He grabs a chair from ringside and just as Erik is getting to his feet, Frank swings hard, bringing the chair crashing down onto Erik’s back and sending him back down.
TOMMY ONIONS: Wait, it’s Frank!!!
JOSEPH GREER: And look, here comes Billy Fowler from the other side.
Back in the ring, Shane and Riot are back to their feet. They trade right hands, and Shane goes to whip Riot to the ropes, but the champion reverses; As Shane rebounds off the ropes, Fowler thwaps him from behind with another chair. Shane, enraged, turns around to see what’s going on, allowing Riot to come from behind with a clothesline and roll him up. The referee counts.
……………..1
…………..2
……………..Kick Out!
TOMMY ONIONS: The Bastards are taking out Erik Black!
JOSEPH GREER: This is why they are known around the world as one of if not the GREATEST faction in professional wrestling.
TOMMY ONION: FACT!
Shane rolls out of the ring and gets in Fowler’s face. He’s shouting something at him but Fowler says something back at him and points at the ring. Riot is running the ropes and as he gets to the side there on he launches himself with a plancha over the top ropes landing right on Shane.
TOMMY ONIONS: AIR BASTARDS!
JOSEPH GREER: Original.
Riot is up. He grabs hold off Erik and drags him to the announce table. Fowler slaps Erik around the face as Riot jumps up onto the announce table. He motions for Fowler to pass Erik to him. Riot locks him into a belly to belly suplex.
JOSEPH GREER: What the hell is Frank up to?
Frank has climbed up to top turnbuckle. As Riot releases him from the suplex Frank launches himself off of the turnbuckle with a leg drop across Erik’s throat sending him through the announce table.
JOSEPH GREER: Erik’s been decapitated!
TOMMY ONIONS: What? Oh sarcasm, I get it!
JOSEPH GREER: Shut up Tommy!
Shane runs the ropes and slides under the bottom rope with a baseball slide taking Fowler out in the process. He looks around for a few seconds before grabbing hold of Erik and drags him back into the ring. He lifts Erik up and hits him with Sudden Death.
TOMMY ONIONS: OH MY GOD!!!
JOSEPH GREER: That’s knocked him out completely.
He goes for the pin as the referee jumps into position.
…………………1
……………………2
………………………3!!!!!
TOMMY ONIONS: He’s done it! Shane is the RSW World Heavyweight Champion……AGAIN!
JOSEPH GREER: That was an amazing match!
The referee grabs the belt and goes to hand it to Shane but it is grabbed off of him by Rob.
JOSEPH GREER: Oh! Don’t do it Rob!
TOMMY ONIONS: Is he going to hit him with it?
Shane takes a step towards Riot but stops when Fowler and Windsor join him. He looks at each of them in turn as the crowds are cheering. Riot nods and takes a step forward. He says something to Shane that the mic don’t picks up. Shane nods also back at him. Shane looks at each of the Bastards in turn before Riot hands him the belt.
TOMMY ONIONS: OH MY GOD!
Fowler and Windsor raise Shane’s arms as the cheering continues around the arena. Rob looks around at the fans showing emotion for the first time. He mouths the words “Thank You”
JOSEPH GREER: What is happening?
TOMMY ONIONS: Is this what Frank was hinting at earlier?
Windsor shakes hands with Rob before Fowler pulls both of them in to a man hug whilst Shane climbs up to the top turnbuckle hoisting the belt up high. The Bastards leave Shane in the ring celebrating and head back up the ramp way. Frank spots a sign in the crowd and takes it off of him. He hands it to Riot who holds it up to the camera. It states “Thank You Bastards” which the crowd spot on the big screen and start chanting. They look up at Shane and applaud him before turning and heading through the curtain. Before he went through the curtains Rob turns and looks one last time at the ring before leaving.
TOMMY ONIONS: I can’t believe it. Ladies and gentlemen you’ve not only seen an amazing match but I can’t believe I’m going to say it but I think this was the last match for the Bastards in RSW.
JOSEPH GREER: Not to steal Shane’s thunder but I believe that is what we’ve just witnessed.
TOMMY ONIONS: Thank you Frank, thank you Riot and thank you……….Fowler?
JOSEPH GREER: I can’t believe you’ve forgotten his name.
TOMMY ONIONS: I’m in shock. It’s like Take That, you remember Gary Barlow and Mark Owen but what’s the other guy’s name?
JOSEPH GREER: Anyway, this has been an amazing show. We’ve seen the end of the Era of the Bastards and now we’ve got Shane on top of the pile.
TOMMY ONIONS: What’s the Awoken going to say about this?
JOSEPH GREER: Well Erik will be in another tough match next week when he wakes up and the tag champions have their biggest title defence.
Shane jumps down from the top rope and stands in the middle of the ring holding his belt above his head.
TOMMY ONIONS: Well good night ladies and gentlemen.
JOSEPH GREER: And have a great New Year!!
