*Following a formal video intro for the event we open up to the night's frenzied arena crowd in Raleigh, with the official Countdown to End of Days event banner being displayed on the Xtreme-Tron, explosions going off all over the place and the usual XHF Gastro theme of "Superstar" by Saliva playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom in even further on ringside moments later and the background music dies down completely as our usual commentators Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler cut in eventually while the in-ring action for this evening is on the verge of kicking off...*
Cole: Welcome to Countdown to End of Days 2009 everyone!
King: We have some exciting matches for you tonight.
Cole: First match is coming to you right now.
*"Grind" by Alice in Chains surrounds the arena as the crowd erupts into a chorus of boos. Out strolls Klayton Jones he stops at the top of the ramp, Klayton raises his arms and soaks up all the boos as a smirk that exudes arrogance appears on his face. Pyros explode in front of him, then he starts walking down to the ring ignoring most of the boos but bad mouthing the others booing in the crowd, once Klayton is at the ring he walks up the steps entering the ring between the middle and top rope. He then wanders over to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs it and starts posing to the crowd who react with a loud chorus of boos, once he has finished he jumps down and makes his way to the middle of the ring to get ready for action as his music fades away.*
Cole: A newcomer to the XHF making his official debut here tonight.
Kole: And he goes against this man….
*"Mr. Happy" by ICP plays as Mr. Happy comes prancing out onto the stage, shaking two bottles of Root Beer Faygo soda. He gets about half way down the stage before he pops the cap on one and sprays the crowd on either side of the stage. Mr. Happy then rolls in under the bottom ropes, popping the cap on the other bottle and chugging the entire thing before throwing the empty bottle out into the crowd.*
Cole: Mr. Happy made his own debut match during the first round of End of Days Tournament.
King: He lost to Randy Angel in a Qualifying matchup that night.

Mr. Happy vs. Klayton Jones

The ref signals for the bell. Klayton came out charging while Mr. Happy skipped to the center of the ring. Klayton came a stop and looks at Mr. Happy. Mr. Happy tries to hug Klayton, but Klayton would have nothing to do with it.
Cole: I think the newcomer is kind of skeptical of Mr. Happy right off the bat.
King: But all he wanted was a hug Cole. I mean what with this industry coming to blowing up cars and cells these days.
Klayton goes to circle Mr. Happy. He slowly moves in for a lock up. Mr. Happy gets a Headlock on Klayton. Before Klayton could send Mr. Happy into the ropes Mr. Happy turned the headlock into a hug. Klayton send Mr. Happy into the ropes. The crowd is laughing at Klayton. Mr. Happy rebounds and knocks Klayton on his back.
Cole: Mr. Happy finally gave Klayton a hug.
King: Klayton doesn't look too happy.
Klayton gets too his feet. They lock up again. This time Klayton gets the advantage by locking on a headlock. He wrenches down on the headlock. Klayton takes Mr. Happy down to the mat with a Side Headlock. Mr. Happy rolls Klayton up and the ref gets a 2 count before Klayton kicks back over with the Side Headlock being applied.
Cole: Mr. Happy almost got the win!
King: I think it will take just a little bit more to beat Klayton Jones and deny him a debut victory here tonight.
Mr. Happy had rolled to his stomach so now Klayton has a Face lock applied. Mr. Happy is making it to his feet. Once on his feet he nails a right fist to the midsection of Klayton Jones. Mr. Happy decides another fist to the midsection and Klayton is holding onto the hold just very. Mr. Happy picks Klayton up and nails a Belly to Back Suplex. Klayton hits hard on the mat.
Cole: Mr. Happy took Klayton to the mat.
King: I am sure Nelly Angel is cheering for Mr. Happy backstage as we speak.
Mr. Happy goes too help Klayton up and this time Klayton grabs a hold of Mr. Happy head and Mr. Happy looks excited because he thinks Klayton is trying to give him a hug. Klayton drops straight down and plants his head right on Mr. Happy chin. Klayton is rubbing his head and Mr. Happy had moved back and is rubbing his chin. Klayton gets to his feet and he goes toward Mr. Happy. Klayton Kicks Mr. Happy in the stomach. Mr. Happy bends over and Klayton hits DDT of his own. Mr. Happy is on the mat. Klayton stands back up and nails a Moonsault. Klayton goes for the pin but at the count of 2 Mr. Happy gets a shoulder up.
Cole: So close!
King: Mr. Happy is not going down that easy however.
Klayton gets to his feet. He helps Mr. Happy to his. He goes to whip Mr. Happy into the ropes but Mr. Happy reverse it. Klayton goes into the ropes and he rebounds and is caught in a Bear Hug. Klayton screams in pain. Mr. Happy is well happy. Klayton tries to break lose but the more he tries Mr. Happy just squeezes harder. Mr. Happy then goes a running into a corner and smashes Klayton back into the corner. Mr. Happy releases the Bear Hug and watch Klayton as his slides down to the mat. He is holding onto his back screaming in pain.
Cole: That has got to hurt!
King: I think Mr. Happy was done hugging Klayton Jones.
Mr. Happy reaches down and picks Klayton Jones up. Klayton is still holding onto his back. Mr. Happy picks Klayton up and nails a Spike Pile Driver.
Cole: Klayton's head was just planted into the mat.
Mr. Happy hooks a leg. The ref is in position for the count: 1…2…3!
Winner via Pinfall: Mr. Happy!
*Mr. Happy stands up as the ref raises his hands in victory. Mr. Happy tries to give the ref a hug, but the ref wanted nothing to do with it and he gets out of the ring as quickly as he could.*
Cole: Klayton Jones lost his first match here in XHF, but nonetheless I think we will see Klayton again soon enough.
King: I did not know that ref could get out of that ring as fast as he did.
Cole: More action to come though. End of Days is this Sunday and fans you don’t want to miss it. Things are certainly heating up heading into this huge event live on Pay-Per-View.
King: What do you mean are heating up?! Things are already getting blown the hell up all over the place in the company lately!
Cole: The First ever Triple Threat Match for the End of Days Tournament, among many other things, is happening this Sunday.
King: It is all happening this Sunday, so don't forget to call your local cable or satellite provider and order End of Days '09 before it's too late XHF fans!
*"You Don't Know" by Eminem, 50 Cent, Ca$hi$ and Lloyd Banks strikes the speakers as we cut back in from commercial and the fans rush to their feet, as an unmistakable superstar is about to make his entrance. Spinning pyro goes off on the side of the entrance ramp, while a large booming pyro goes off center stage and Platinum steps out from the smoke with his Calgary Flames jersey and sideways Flames baseball cap. He stands at the top of the ramp, showing off a platinum "P" hanging from a chain around his neck. Decoy comes out behind him. He makes his way to the ring, and dives under the bottom rope, running to the far corner and springboarding himself to the top rope where he again shows off the chain. Decoy gives him a thumbs up. He jumps down and faces his opponent, ready to go.*
Cole: Next up, Platinum has to take on the entire XHF locker room!
King: Or at least most of it.
Cole: Decoy has his back though.
*"All about the Benjamins" hits the P.A. GQ comes strutting out. Obsidian follows eating nachos. GQ yells at him to put those away. He grabs an handful and shoves them in his mouth and gives the rest to a nearby stage-hand. They walk down to the ring and climb in. GQ checks his hair to make sure he looks good as Obsidian makes sure his tights are on right.*
King: Here are the guys who set up this huge handicap matchup.
Cole: This is going to just be a slaughter on Platinum.
*The show's theme song of "Superstar" by Saliva then plays as GQ and Obsidian now watch the rampway, but no one comes out. The music dies down. Platinum laughs at GQ. But then...*
*The arena turns to black and guitar riffs echo throughout the arena. Smoke begins to fill the entrance way as the drum begins to join the guitar in the sounds. Flashes of light decorate the stage area as David Draiman's voice lets out a soft "can you feel that..." The crowd rushes to their feet looking to get their snapshot of the XHF legend about to walk through the curtain. Three large pyros go off at the top of the stage to the beat of Draiman's "ooh ah ah ah" The song immediately jumps to it's chorus as "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed deafens the crowd and is it does Reeshi steps through the smoke and pyro to a loud chorus of boos and flashing lights. He stands atop the entrance way soaking in the feedback from the XHF faithful. He stays standing at the entryway with a chain that he slowly wraps around his wrist. GQ and Obsidian look happy as GQ had ordered Reeshi to be here. However that smile turns to a frown when Reeshi looks at him and says, "no one orders me around!" He then turns and faces the entryway.*
Cole: Uh oh, GQ may have bitten off more than he can chew.
King: What a bad commissioner.
*After hearing Reeshi's music, now others make their way out. A masked man comes out followed by Jason Anderson, Mark Goode, Terry Bradshaw, Erez Shlomowitz, and Team Wu Tang. They all stop when they see Reeshi. The masked man tries to walk around, but Reeshi hits him with a big haymaker with the chained up fist! His mask goes flying off. It's Marty Jannetty! All the other guys wisely back up through the curtain. Reeshi stands ready for anyone else as GQ and Obsidian look on in anger while Platinum and Decoy are giddy.*
Cole: Well this sort of evens things out.
King: Wait a minute, what's this?!!
*The lights in the arena go down to black. Suddenly two giant pyros shoot off from either side of the stage as the crowd is slammed into the chorus of Electric Light Orchestra's variation on "In the Hall of the Mountain King". The Xtreme-Tron looks as if a hole is being burned through it. The burned outline forms a shape, the shape of a bird, suddenly, the entire area of the bird lights up with flames, a phoenix. The letters XHF fall onto the phoenix as the flames continue on with shots of Mongo's career within the phoenix. Mongo walks out onto the entryway. Reeshi stares him down. Obsidian gives Mongo a thumbs up. Mongo has a mic.*
Mongo: I'm just out here to say...Jannetty, you're fired. Again. That is all.
*Mongo's music hits and he leaves.*
Cole: Well, that was expected.
King: They should probably just start the match already.

The bell rings as Obsidian and GQ stand in their corner, not sure what to do. Platinum meanwhile stands in his own corner ready to go with Decoy on the outside. Obsidian and Platinum charge at each other. Platinum delivers a hip toss. Obsidian is quick to his feet, charges again, and gets another hip toss. Platinum goes to kick Obsidian, but he catches the leg. Obsidian laughs at Platinum, but then gets an enziguiri for his trouble! GQ is pacing back and forth, biting his nails. He jumps off the apron and goes over to the ring announcer and takes his mic.
Cole: What is it now?
GQ: Shut up Cole! You know what, this match is now tornado tag rules!
Cole: You can't just change the stips on the fly!
King: Actually, he can.
GQ slides into the ring and charges at Platinum, but then stops short, distracting Platinum long enough for Obsidian to hit him from behind with a dropkick! GQ then hits Platinum with some elbows to the face. Obsidian and GQ get on either side and deliver a double hip toss! Platinum rolls to the ropes and looks at Decoy. He yells, "help me out damnit!" Decoy gives a thumbs up and hops onto the apron. Obsidian tries to hit him with a punch, but Decoy blocks and hits one of his own. Then he jumps into the ring. He charges GQ with a clothesline! Platinum is back up and hits Obsidian with a few punches of his own. Decoy gets GQ in one corner, Platinum gets Obsidian in the other. They then whip both men into each other in the middle of the ring. GQ and Obsidian stagger backward and Platinum and Decoy grab each and toss them out of the ring! Decoy gives Platinum a high five! Platinum looks out at GQ and points at him, trying to get some support from the crowd. He looks ready to jump over the ropes when Decoy rolls him up from behind with a schoolboy! 1, 2, 3!
Winners via Pinfall: The Entire XHF Locker Room!
Cole: What the?!
King: Decoy is technically part of the other team Cole.
*Platinum and Decoy get up and Platinum wonders what the hell happened. Decoy shrugs. He mouths, "I had to win it for my team, sorry." On the outside, Obsidian and GQ regroup. They look up at the ring and point and sneer at Platinum. They walk backward up the ramp as they go. Cut to commercial...*
*Suddenly, the arena is plunged into total darkness as we return live to the RBC Center for tonight's much anticipated Countdown to End of Days main event, and accordingly the crowd looks on with anxious anticipation. At this point, an ominous "clenched fist" symbol appears across the Xtreme-Tron screen and accompanied by it is the fast-paced, grinding sound of guitar riffs beginning to kick in across the building's sound system. Mere seconds later, while everyone in attendance leaps to their feet the screen abruptly shifts to pure static and the tension continues slowly building as after a flurry of drums kick in, the following words begin to echo loudly throughout the building's sound system...
"Take a good look at agony,
Force fed pass down,
Time release,
I'm inspired to find the liar,
Black list X on the back,
Of a soulfull man,
I've got way's you understand,
Look left, look right, but I'm,
Behind you,
I never noticed, until I focused,
On everything you did, you said,
You lit the fuse inside my head..."
*At the conclusion these very words, BOOM! An explosion of pyro rocks the arena to it's core and in turn the hellraising chorus of none other than "Sin With A Grin" by Shinedown cuts onto the PA system in full force. At this, the curtain flips back and without any further adieu, the sadistically smirking figure of XHF legend Rage steps out and onto the top of the stage. Thereafter, he struts fiercely on down the ramp to an overwhelming chorus of boos from the entire capacity crowd of XHF fans joining us this evening. Once reaching the ringside area and upon climbing inside the self proclaimed "Revolutionary Redneck" sets off to do his signature Four Corners Salute taunt from each and every corner of the squared circle, defiantly raising both his fists and a set of all too familiar middle fingers to the jeering crowd. Afterward he makes his way over to lean up against a corner turnbuckle facing the entrance way. From there as a sly, wily look of veteran determination crosses his face he turns his eyes upward toward the curtain, anxiously awaiting the emergence of his opposition here tonight...*
Cole: And here's the sadistic Bald-Headed Behemoth himself, as along with cousin Matt Hicks he looks to send a crystal clear message of sorts toward the tandem of NM Champ GD and Jimmy Fat tonight in tag team action!
King: Not to mention that Rage and Hicks have the distinct home field advantage so to speak, with tonight's event taking place in their home state of North Carolina of course.
*Suddenly, the arena lights begin to flicker off and on and as the crowd rises to it's feet immediately in anticipation, a combination of loud guitar riffs and the following words slowly begin to echo and scroll across the massive Xtreme-Tron screen above...
"Well it's midnight, damn right, we're wound up too tight,
I've got a fist full of whiskey, the bottle just bit me,
Ohhhhh...,
That shit makes me bat shit crazy,
We've got no fear, no doubt, all in balls out..."
*With this, the hellraising chorus of "Burn It To The Ground" by Nickelback kicks in over the PA as none other than Matt Hicks himself then emerges from behind the curtain with wife Jennifer Dream by his side! Moments later this infamous duo proceeds to make their way on down the rampway to an overwhelming sea of crowd jeers, and soon amidst this the former multiple-time XHF title holder in Hicks makes his way up the ring steps, leaving his lovely wife to continue cheering him on from down below. Once inside the ring Matt goes to lean over toward the ropes and taunt off some raising a set of fiercely clenched fists to this entire sellout, roaring crowd of Xtreme Hardcore Federation fans joining us here tonight. Afterwards Hicks begins to bounce back and forth off the ropes flexing a bit, eagerly awaiting the emergence of his opposition at this point...*
*The steady beat of the bass drum kicks in slowly as the screen fades into a highlight video of the man known only as GD. Showing plenty of past footage. As the guitar track begins to kick in GD enters from behind the curtain and stops at the top of the stage drawing all attention to his XHF No Mercy Championship. He gradually begins to make his way from the ring with that trademark smirk of his plastered all over his face, excahnging words to ringside fans along the way.
The vocals kick in and GD is up on the ring apron stopping for a moment thinking about taunting the crowd but shakes his head instead and steps inside heading towards the nearest turnbuckle. He climbs up it and does a pose with the title still around his waist. He gets down and heads to the opposite turnbuckle. The camera cuts to a wide shot of GD taking the belt off his waist and holding it in the air and smiling with a streak of arrogance before cutting to a closer shot of GD jumping down and doing some last minute stretches warming up for the match at hand.*
Cole: And here's the infamous No Mercy Champion himself, as he looks to fend off the Revolutionary Redneck this evening before the two lock up once and for all to settle their ongoing issues for the gold itself this Sunday at End of Days live on Pay-Per-View!
King: GD also remains undefeated in 2009 singles competition within the XHF, so needless to say Rage has his work cut out for him big time later this week in order to end GD's already lengthy title reign in fact.
*The opening Drum Beat hits the arena like a ton of bricks as “The Real American” Jimmy Fat makes his way out from behind the curtain pumping his first in the air matching the beat.
“Born down in a dead's man town! The first kick I took was when I hit the ground!"
Jimmy now makes his way to the ring hamming it up with taunts conversing with fans, and asking if anyone has some nachos. Singing along to the song once it hits "Born in the USA." Once inside the ring Jimmy points at the crowd in all four directions before slapping his gut and doing muscular poses showing off something he doesn’t quite have. At the end of the routine red white and blue fire works go off behind him.

"The Revolutionary Redneck" Rage & Matt Hicks vs. Gravedigger & "The Real American" Jimmy Fat
______________________________
GD and Jimmy Fat glance at each other then Jimmy shrugs confidently. He goes to the apron, GD finds Rage on the other side. The bell rings and GD and Rage lock up first. Both these individuals try hard to get the decisive strength advantage in here, but GD out powers Rage and throws him onto the ground moments later. Rage rolls back and glares fiercely up at GD. A smirk crawls across GD's face and Rage then runs toward him. As soon as Rage is close enough to GD, he grabs him by the arm and Irishwhips him to the ropes. Rage bounces back to GD with a clothesline attempt but GD ducks it. Both of them turn around so they face each other and GD attempts a punch but Rage jumps back and dodges it. Rage then grabs GD and spinebusters him straight down before he can react at all! We see Matt Hicks arrogantly clapping nearby and Rage gives the audience a smug smile as well. Rage then picks up GD and Irishwhips him to the ropes but as soon as GD bounces back and as soon as he is close to Rage, Rage pulls all the power he can and hits a WHOPPER of a hip toss to GD!
Cole: Rage is doing pretty damn well thus far!
King: Perhaps but given GD's usual resilience I doubt the match will be over anytime soon still.
Rage brings GD to his feet and he punches him a bit, causing him to stagger back. GD punches back and Rage staggers back. Rage punches GD once, and again, and one more time! Rage then once again Irishwhips GD to the ropes. He comes back and Rage goes for a clothesline but GD wisely ducks it and he runs to the ropes again in time as Rage turns around. As soon as Rage turns around, GD spears him down! He walks over to his corner and tags in Jimmy Fat! The "Real American" gets in, causing the entire ring to shake a little in the process, and finds Rage, trying to crawl over to his tag team partner, Matt Hicks, and Jimmy grabs him by the foot and pulls him away. Jimmy brings Rage to his feet and Irishwhips him to the ropes. Rage comes back to Jimmy who body slams him to the canvas with force! Jimmy walks over to Rage's corner to find Hicks, and he smiles at him, simply to infuriate him even more. Matt glares at him and Jimmy turns around to face Rage, and we see Rage up on his feet and he sidewalk slams the massive Jimmy Fat out of nowhere! He walks over towards Matt Hicks and tags him in!
Cole: The Hickster is in! Jimmy could be in big trouble now!
King: Matt and Jimmy have some prior history of their own after facing off in the opening round of the End of Days tourney earlier this month, and they are both looking to prove that they are the better men once and for all here tonight!
Matt Hicks stands and crosses his arms while shaking his head in absolute disgust toward both Jimmy himself and the fans as well. He simply waits for Jimmy Fat to get to his feet. Jimmy climbs to his feet and finds Matt Hicks. Jimmy Fat pulls back his arm for a punch and just as he does that, Matt Hicks lunges forward and nails his adversary with a huge dropkick! Despite his best attempts to stay upright as a result, Jimmy is now down and Matt Hicks laughs to himself a little bit, with a hand over his mouth, trying to hide it. Matt then pins Jimmy and the referee begins the count: One, Two, Kickout by Jimmy Fat! Jimmy then rolls out of the ring and glares at Matt Hicks. He holds his chin and just glares at him. Matt gestures for Jimmy to get back into the ring and Jimmy takes his time, walking out of the ring to his own corner. Finally Jimmy gets back in the ring at the four count and he gets to his feet. Jimmy Fat walks forward and Matt Hicks walks forward so they both can meet in the beginning of the ring. Matt raises his arm and surprisingly calls for a test of strength. Jimmy meanwhile knows in his own mind that he can easily out power the much much smaller Hicks and he reaches forward without any hesitation. Jimmy and Matt each have one hand locked in now and they both move their other hand to lock in until Matt turns the arm he already has into an arm breaker suddenly! Matt Hicks kicks Jimmy Fat in the stomach and he puts Jimmy's head between one of his legs to apparently go for a powerbomb of some sort, but Jimmy abruptly reverses it into a fierce back body drop as he flips Hicks completely over!
Cole: Huge reversal there by Jimmy Fat!
King: Yep he's definitely looking impressive here tonight, much like he did in that original matchup several weeks ago with Hicks when he managed to pull the shocking one on one upset over him.
Matt Hicks holds his back as he tries to recover. Because of the force and energy it took for him to slam Hicks down quite so hard, Jimmy Fat is also temporarily on his back. Jimmy looks over at GD and tries to crawl to him but he feels hands on his legs. He looks down to find Matt Hicks locking in a figure four-leg lock just before he could reach far enough to make the tag to his partner! Jimmy swings his arms wildly and attempts to get out of it but Matt is visibly irate by now and isn't going to let him. Jimmy quickly grabs the rope nearby though and the referee counts for Matt Hicks: One-Two-Three-Four-Fi-Matt lets go! Matt Hicks puts his head on the ground and rolls while grabbing Jimmy Fat's chubby legs, back facing Jimmy's chest, in a pinning position: One, Two, Thr-Kickout by Jimmy! Both of them get to their feet, Matt a little quicker for obvious reasons than Jimmy. Matt Hicks clearly wants to end the match for good now. Matt rushes at him and goes for a vicious clothesline, but Jimmy somehow ducks it! Matt turns around and Jimmy brings Matt Hicks onto his shoulders, in position for a huge Samoan Drop! Jimmy is ready to slam him down but Rage meanwhile slides into the ring with an object in his hands that he's apparently retrieved from somewhere up under the ring apron. Upon closer view it's the shiny tire iron itself, his own personal weapon of choice that's become so synonymous with the Revolutionary Redneck throughout his career! Rage has the iron tightly gripped in his hands and he collides it to Jimmy Fat's stomach momentarily, forcing him down. GD then lividly rushes into the ring and he slaps the tire iron out of Rage's hand but just as that happens, Rage picks up GD and spinebusters him ONTO the tire iron itself! The bell rings loudly in the midst of all this mounting carnage at ringside as both he and Matt Hicks have been disqualified over Rage's shocking actions!
Winners via DQ: Gravedigger and Jimmy Fat!
Cole: Rage just intentionally caused himself and Matt Hicks to lose!
King: Yep, but obviously he's also got the bigger picture in mind so to speak here as far as End of Days goes several days from now. He wants to dish out as much punishment ahead of time as humanly possible so that GD is more vulnerable than ever come Sunday night on Pay-Per-View!
*Immediately after the match has concluded Rage remains standing over the limp, lifeless figure of GD while ordering his cousin/henchman Matt Hicks to go right away and retrieve something for him outside the ring. Sure enough Matt does exactly that and a mere matter of moments later he returns and hands the very object to Rage that he's requested, it's none other than the No Mercy Title belt itself! Rage then raises the title high above with one arm, signifying that in a matter of days the belt will be his altogether and that GD's days are hereby numbered for good as the current holder of the strap as it were. Finally, as the crowd continues roaring their disapproval to all this with a defeaning chorus of boos, Rage continues grinning sadistically as he drops the title back down beside its current rightful owner GD, who remains out cold on the mat below. With that, this year's unforgettable edition of Countdown to End of Days fades slowly to a close with the XHF logo briefly flashing across the screen as Matt Hicks stands evilly gloating over the equally unconscious body of Jimmy Fat on the opposite side of the ring, but much more importantly Rage stands tall with one boot firmly planted on the chest of GD in a pompous show of supremacy and motions toward his waist amidst the booing sellout crowd in Raleigh that Gravedigger's eventual resting place, his final End of Days as our seemingly unstoppable No Mercy Champion up until this point, is now at long last near....*
