Johnny Bulldog, despite his age, is a veteran. In a rival company, Bulldog was the measuring stick for any competition - young and old. He is a Tag Team Specialist, entering Hall of Fames with his partner and quickly becoming perhaps the greatest Tag Team in said promotion's history.
Despite his success and drive, Bulldog was never seen as the Main Event Player in his past career, causing him to snap, famously adopting a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat when he didn't get his way. As per the name, he is a proud patriot, a product of being the only Brit in his previous ventures, but he looks forward to sharing the ring with opponents from this side of The Atlantic.
Just before parting ways with his previous promotion, Bulldog became a Television Presenter and overnight success. Due to this, the press claim he is past his best - he can't wait to prove them all wrong. Again.
