We open to a crowd wrapped around the block as "A Taste Of Hong Kong" prepares to open up for the evening. Customers have come from miles away some from different towns, states and some from different countries just to get a taste of Anthony Craigs world-famous cuisine. Ever since the leaked announcement on social media by one Nelly Angel and the XHF Network about the offer from the Food Network and the upcoming XHF Network Supremacy match that Anthony Craig will be in. He hasn't had a single minute of rest or privacy. But that has not stopped him from doing his specific daily routine and training for his restaurant and for his wrestling, as he always says business comes first.
The hostess is somewhat new as Anthony Craig has had to hire a couple of new people this week just to keep up with the influx in business. The deal he made with LA: Underground brought in a lot of business for him but when the wrestling fan and the world found out he was also a part of the XHF Network. His business really took off, he has had to renegotiate his contracts with certain outside vendors due to all of the business just in the restaurant itself. He hated to do it but he had to stop catering for LA: Underground as well, but he did set them up with a great chef to replace "A Taste Of Hong Kong".
Several waiters and waitresses seem to be flustered as they are getting double seated and triple seated all at once, Anthony Craig isn't only cooking tonight but also running in and out of the kitchen as he manages the dining room tonight as well. On a normal night, Anthony Craig uses his culinary genius only in the kitchen as he has hired others for the front of the house. Anthony Craig loves this incline in business, he thrives on it as he thrives on competition.
While Anthony Craig is helping the bartender create a few of the new drinks at the bar, a familiar face to the world of professional wrestling casually walks up to the bar and sits down without a word. As he waits to be waited on. Anthony Craig notices him and gives him a nod in his direction letting him know he will be right with him. After a few minutes, Anthony Craig makes his way over to the fellow still waiting to be waited on and begins to check on him.
The Chef: Welcome to "A Taste of Hong Kong" Mr. Angel. So what brings you here this evening beside's the top-notch cuisine?
Nelly Angel: Interesting question Chef, I could ask you the same thing, a man of your talents still slaving behind a stove. Interesting to say the least.
The Chef: Long story Mr. Angel, but one I would be willing to share with you someday, a man of your position within the XHF Network. It could do wonders for my career, to say the least. But for now, how about I start by getting you something to drink. So what will it be, Mr. Angel?
Nelly Angel: You wouldn't happen to have a drink menu or something? Better yet what would you recommend?
Anthony Craig smiles as he stands there because he knows Nelly Angel just opened the door for him to offer him his newest drink.
The Chef: Ah, you are in Luck Mr. Angel, we just happened to have a brand new drink created from yours truly. A "Tropical Fanta Smoothie".
Nelly Angel: Sounds pretty good I do like Fanta soda and well smoothies. So what's in it?
The Chef: I can't really give you all of the ingredients but I will tell you it does have three different Fanta soda flavors along with fresh fruit and some other delicious ingredients. Trust me you will enjoy it, tonight was the first night we have had it here and we have sold about two hundred so far and we have only been open a couple of hours. Let me make you one on the house. After that you buy them
Nelly Angel: Chef you got yourself a deal.
Anthony Craig steps away for a few moments as he creates his new drink for fellow wrestling star and social media mogul Nelly Angel. He walks back over holding a twenty-four-ounce chilled glass of what appears to be an amazing looking frozen smoothie drink.
The Chef: Give this a try, let me know what you think.
Nelly Angel takes a drink or two not wanting to put it down, he smiles at Anthony Craig as he finally sits the glass down. A pair of young girls walks up to the bar asking for a menu to place a to-go order. Anthony sends the two girls over to the hostess and lets them know she will take care of everything.
Nelly Angel: Now Chef, let us get to the real reason I am here, I do a weekly Youtube show and I want you to be this weeks guest.
The Chef: Youtube you say, another way to promote my restaurant and my wrestling career. Nice, so what's your show called?
Nelly Angel: Glad you asked Chef, it's called "Counting Stars with Nelly Angel" and what I do is talk to rising stars and current superstars of the business. This week you are the talk of the town and Youtube and the rest of the internet wants to know about you.
Nelly Angel: So Chef what do you say are you in or what?
Anthony Craig looks around for a moment and sees that the place is starting to get even more crowded than before and the food is starting to get backed-up, he motions for the waiter to come over and take Nelly Angels food order telling him to give Mr. Angel anything on he wants on the house.
The Chef: Mr. Angel, give me a few minutes I need to go check out the kitchen then IU will be back and we can continue our discussion.
Nelly Angel: Sure thing Chef, it will give me time to try some of this delicious smelling food.
Anthony Craig smiles as he quickly hustles back toward the kitchen and through the kitchen doors. About an hour and forty minutes go by before Anthony Craig walks back through the kitchen doors and back over to Nelly Angel who has probably put on thirty pounds having tried and eaten several dishes and a few desserts.
The Chef: Mr. Angel sorry about the wait tonight has been extremely busy but that's how I love it. It pushes me and my staff to do our best and to put out great food. The busier we are the harder we work and the better we do, the more we learn. So now that everyone is starting to leave as we are getting ready to close soon. What would you like to talk about?
Nelly Angel: Aww, well I'm about to fall asleep I'm so full, Chef. You are a great Chef, I should know I think I ate half your menu. Plus I asked who cooked each dish I tried and was told you did. Wonderful job, excellent!
The Chef: Thank You, Mr. Angel.
Nelly Angel: Let us get started Chef since you signed with LA: Underground you have been on a pretty good role, you haven't had any major matches until now. This match is above the level of major it's on a level of unmeasurable means. It's for the XHF Networks Xcrown championship and it's going to be contested in a match that has not been seen before in the Network, so what myself and my audience want to know is what's the plan going into it?
The Chef: Well, Nelly, it's okay that I call you that right? Good, good well it seems that everyone wants to know what I have planned. They want to know the secret ingredient to my recipe for success at Supremacy. But it's not really a secret ingredient, it's just an overlooked ingredient.
The Chef: You see where most people make mistakes is they try throwing in a bunch of ingredients that just don't make sense. Or they want to go out and get the best of everything thinking because if it's 'name brand' it's better. Let me tell you a little secret, just because something is well known doesn't make it better. Sometimes when your taste testing things you don't know or never tried before that's when you find the best.
Nelly angel leans back in the chair as he listens to Anthony Craig explain everything.
The Chef: So let's see we have a couple name brands in this match right and a couple unknown brands and one or two common household brands. Let us start with the unknown household ingredients you see we have Kikue Minami from SSS and Chris Parsons from RSW they would be like a crazy Indonesian Sauce or some wild Chocolate Covered Ants. Something you would never expect to have in your pantry. There good and could shock you if your willing to give them a try.
The Chef: Then we have your common household ingredients such as Big Drag from CW who would be your Wal-Mart flavored Nacho Chips, Then we have myself who represents LA: Underground since I am a virtual newbie to the world of wrestling I would be your Canned corn good but common so nobody expects much from it. Then there's Raiden Ishimori from AWF who would be your Mountain Lightning soda good but still not Mountain Dew. See all three great but since we don't have the big names we get overlooked.
The Chef: Then we have the two big brand names first Curtis Kanyon has the big name big flashy packaging but his flavor is about as good as the others. Then we have the biggest brand name in the business "The Icon" Bobby Barratt the Xcrown champion himself he would be the most expensive ingredient you have in your home a sweet and tender full succulent pound of fresh Kobe Beef. Yes very tasty and most of the time well worth the money, but if not cooked and prepared right is nothing more than another overpriced piece of leather. Anything if it's packaged right can be called named brand and expensive.
Nelly Angel seems to be intrigued with what Anthony Craig is saying and has written everything down as it's being said. The waiter brings Nelly Angel over another Tropical Fanta Smoothie as they sit there talking. Anthony Craig motions for the waiter to bring him a Gingerale before he leaves.
Nelly Angel: Chef it seems to me you have this whole business figured out so w=for someone who says they are new to it how do you know or understand so much?
The Chef: Training, Nelly, I was trained by some of the greatest in the world and like always I listen and I focus and I pay attention to the recipe. You see you can call yourself name brand, you can dress as if your name brand but it doesn't mean you taste better.
The Chef: So when I go out to Supremacy this coming up Sunday I will have my recipe memorized, I will follow it to the exact measurement as usual, and I will walk away with a finished and delicious entree and I become the next Xcrown Global Champion.
Nelly Angel: Well I wish you luck, I notice your staff seem to be waiting for you.
The Chef: Of course it's closing time and they need directions so I will see you soon for your show and we can finish this interview I guess. I appreciate you coming by and come again and tell your friends about us.
Nelly Angel: Of course I will great food and drinks, I will contact you with a time and place. Is there anything I should know before I leave?
The Chef: of course always remember "It's in The Recipe".
Nelly Angel smiles as he turns and walks out of the building as Anthony Craig begins to close up for the night... As he thinks about his upcoming appearance on Nelly Angels show...
