SSS News Report Ep. 3
With Bluegrass Stampede now in the books, we set our sight on the next episode of Sakura Genesis. No official card is set yet, but you have to wonder what's come in light of all that's happened. Today on the latest edition of SSS News Report we'll give you a run down on the latest happenings of SSS and what's to come in the near future!
- Our first piece of news is a bit of a reminder actually, April we'll be seeing the legendary XHF Rumble event make it's return! You can catch a few SSS wrestlers in the match as well as a few SSS alumni in the match as well.
- We saw the debut of The Shattered Dolls, who laid out a challenge to The Pretty Committee.
- Speaking of debuts we got word we're going to see many new faces on our next card, as we signed many new ladies from all over the world in the past month. Look forward to the Shattered Dolls, Stacy Douglas, Serenity Scorpio, Idoru Pierrot, and Sakura Pro mainstay Lucie Taylor.
- We also saw the return of the first ever Goddess of Sakura Champion, Bodhi and her tag team partner Boom-Boom lay down a challenge to Sakura-Gun last night too. Clearly there's unfinished business between these ladies, and rightfully so! it was a falls count anywhere match with ember ferrari, sakura hase and bodhi almost a year ago to the day that we last saw anything from Bodhi and FEM. But now they're back, so we'll see what's to come in the coming months.
- Speaking of comebacks and returns, Nausicaa Suzuki has officially signed the dotted line and is apart of the SSS Family! For those who remember, she was the owner of Suzuki Blitz Wrestling, a cult favorite promotion that had an untimely demise last year. Also if you remember, Suzuki was the inaugural winner of the Mach 20 Tournament last year too beating Sophia Figuretti.
- But despite all the new faces coming this past month or so, we're sad to announce some are leaving us too. "Mad Dog" Au Nobu has decided to part ways with SSS due to unforeseen circumstances. Also Zolothach has left the company due to her contract ending and her not wanting to resign with us. We wish them well in their future endeavors.
- Speaking of Zolothach we got word she's set to leave the hospital in a few days after being brutalized by STRiFE.
- And we can't talk about Brutal with out talking about the hellacious main event of last night's Bluegrass Stampede that saw Ember Ferrari give her all in a failing manner to Goddess of Sakura Champion, Fukushima Zombie. Speaking of both, we can give you an update on both ladies. Both are set to leave the local hospital in a few days as well. The doctors told us nothing too serious happened to the two ladies last night, despite the brutal match.
- We also have the Big Egg Universe ppv coming up in june, it should be another great event to take place that evening. And just like last year we'll be holding our annual tournament in June.
- Speaking of the Tournament, The Mach 20 is set to be even more stacked then last year with some coming back from the first and some new competitors. There's also word we may see some ladies from other promotions around the world in the tournament again this year too. We should get word on who's going to be in the tournament and the brackets for it soon.
- There was allot of havoc and chaos again at the end of Bluegrass Stampede with ZDS coming in and reeking havoc on SSS Announcers and referees. We got word that General Manager Yuuko Koizumi has come to an agreement with the AWF and AXW higher ups to book a special match between some of SSS's up and coming stars to fight the members of ZDS in our next show!
- Speaking of chaos and things getting out of control, it's been rumored that CEO and founder of SSS, Emi Sakata has been very displeased with the work of current GM Yuuko Koizumi. We'll see if anything comes of it and will keep you posted on this story and many more next time!
