Okay, so since there's been interest from a lot of people about learning some of the tricks us graphics-makers have in our noggins, graphics-wise, I figured that this would be a good idea. So, let me ask y'ins this.
Is there something specific you'd like to know?
How about tutorials on how certain effects are done?
This is where you ask. Just simply reply to this thread with questions and us graphics-makers will do our best to answer them for you. And if it's something complex enough, then full tutorials can be put together to better explain things in detail.
So come on down, folks--let's fuck around and find out, shall we?

Oh, and before anyone asks--I am already working on a tutorial for adding framed .gifs to images.

I'd like to know how you do these overlays with smoke, particles, and etc. Maybe what I'll do instead of just one kind of .gif-fu is an omnibus of .gif-fu tricks. That can be done.

I'd like you to teach the unwashed about the graphic dark arts of the random image jpg That can be arranged. That'd be an easier tutorial than the .gif-fu stuff for sure. EDIT: This tutorial can be found here.
