Greetings to our wonderful NLW roster!
For those of you unaware, I am Adrien, the NLW staff admin under our hardworking fedhead, Kris. On Monday, she posted about what we have going on for Ascendancy XXXV and our Open Fight Night event (which appears to be fully booked unless someone else wants to help with writing matches), but I want to talk to all of you about the show that's going to take place AFTER that. See, I invented a match a year ago then I was on the staff for AWF. Wasn't the more innovative match type in the world, but I called my little masterpiece the Super Scramble, which you can click here if you want to read it. The first one, which can be found here, was a SMASHING success. But when I came to help run NLW, I knew I wanted to bring this match here as well. And the time has finally come. So let me go ahead and go over what you need to know to know about this event.
- This will be the only match on the Ascendancy XXXVI card. The match will be an open sign-up so if you aren't going to be participating in the match, you will have the show off. If you elect to not be in this match and not participate in Open Fight Night, you can consider it a nice break to recharge them batteries. I will HIGHLY encourage segments though, regardless if you're competing or not. This is the final show before Hostile Intent so we need to keep them PPV tensions high.
- I will be writing this match and judging it alone. I love giant clusterfucks, let's be honest. I'm giving Kris this show off so we can keep our fedhead operating at her full capacity for the PPV after this show, as well as the G1 after that. In the event that I require a second set of eyes because it's that close between two competitors, I have an XHF Network Admin (I dunno if he wants to be named or not so I'll just leave it out for now) in the room with me to assist me.
- Rules are stated as such in my post about the match. There will be an hour on the clock. Every competitor tries to get as many pinfall or submission victories as they can in that hour. Because this is a chaotic match with lots of participants, there will be no disqualifications or count outs. The winner of the match will be whoever has the most falls in that allotted time. If the winner has two falls, they will receive a tag title shot for them and another character of their choice. If they win with three falls, they will get a Southern States title shot. If the winner of the match has four or more falls, they will receive an NLW Heavyweight Championship shot. THESE TITLE SHOTS WILL BE AFTER HOSTILE INTENT!
- And let's make things really interesting. We will allow competitors from other XHF Network feds to compete in this match! Just make sure you link me to your bio when you sign up. Don't worry, if you at least post something, I will try to get you at least one fall, so everyone will have something to hang their hat on.
If you have anymore questions about this event, feel free to ask! Thank you all so much and I look forward to writing this monstrosity!!
