Hey hey hey XHF Network! It's that time. Night of Champions and it's preshow, Overheated, are upcoming. And in this month of celebration, we have the next edition of the modern Cruiserfest! The touring Junior Heavyweight title (held currently by Nelly Angel) will be defended in ... can you hear Seth Dillinger losing his mind? ... FIRED UP! That's right it's the AWF's big tournament that they used to run yearly.
Depending on signups, 8 or 16 junior heavyweights (champ included) will enter the event. Each fighter will put up ONE Roleplay of up to 1500 words. The roleplay period will be July 1-13. So what happens in this match? Why all the JHW's will be tag teamed up randomly into makeshift teams! HOW WILL ... THEY COEXIST?! Then it's a tag tournament with the winning team then facing off for the JHW title 1v1!
The first round will be posted at Overheated, the subsequent rounds and title match will be at Night of Champions. Of note, you will NOT know who you are teaming with until the show is posted. You cannot choose a partner. And that one RP is the only one required, all the judging will be done before Overheated and you just have to wait for the results until NOC. Sorry but this is to give us time to write the matches for an already huge PPV month.
To sign up just reply to this post here! One character per handler for now unless we need to fill out the ranks. Keep in mind I can run this as an 8 person (4 team) event.
