No excuses, summer & work has derailed me from being online. I'm hungover today after going to see Aqua in concert last night - yeah, Aqua.
The only, single thing that is standing out to me is Steele mentioning him being blue, and not knowing who he was. Despite everyone's main character descriptions being pretty clear (mine also had a picture).
Being given a major Link like Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom would be a main character, or a great cover story. I mentioned those games and he agreed, until Kris/ H2F (I'd have to go back and reread) mentioned the color thing again. It all reads to me of a fake claim that he isn't too looped in on except the picture he was given.
That and him being Ascetic or a Nexus (whatever stopped investigating him from happening) is not at all sounding normal.
My two cents.

Gotta be honest here Hype, and I can see this being branded as bit of OMGUS but you're pinging me a lot here as you're starting to push threads which really have no legs based on very little, and I've seen that a fair bit from you when you're scum and pushing for a kill. You'll have to forgive me but I honestly don't see how anything you said in the post above is evidence, even in the slightest. You mention "A Major Link" and "Main Character" ... um, aren't they all Main characters? Except for like, that one game where you play as Zelda? Isn't pretty much every Link major, besides arguably the CDi or maybe the handheld versions? What exactly are you trying to say here? Yes, I was surprised that my Link is blue and yes, I have no idea about the lore for my game - I haven't played a Zelda game since SKyward Sword, and the only Links that I could REALLY claim to have any decent knowledge of are the Zelda I and Link To The Past Links. Why is any of this indicative of a fake claim? I'd love an expanation. To answer Rat’s question, I got information on Steve last night which obviously was not helpful. I would have cleared him as town, given this information. Alas, being dead we know this already. Also if this offers any help…I don’t know whether Steele is Town, Scum, or Third Party, but if he is not town we will only find out through daytime voting, as he may be hard to discover at night. Trans: Haiiiiiiyah Hammer, you mind telling me why you feel this way about me? "Steele is scum, town or third party... we'll have to vote for him and find out" ... Shit, you can say this about LITERALLY ANYONE right now lol... Also picking Steve of all people as your claimed target last night and saying "oh yeah I'd totally have cleared him as town" is REAL easy once that person has already flipped. In fairness to Hammer on the "I town cleared this dude who just died" point - if he was scum, he could have town cleared a currently active player and pocketed them. It makes very little sense to build an alibi off a dead character this early in the game.
Hammer, in terms of announcing we had a commuter. How do you know. Did you target someone other than Steele night 1, or are you basing that guess on the response you got from targeting Steele?
I don't consider the above Fishing. Hammer is currently the only person putting anything tangible out, but it's been done in a way that is vague or confusing enough that most of us are willing to lynch him.

I can’t think of a role that would allow you to gain the information if he commuted. If he’s not there, how can you learning anything about him. I’m not Commenting on meta analysis of what roles would be third party or scum. Lord knows, that would only result in insulting the mod. The mod is a kind and smart person. Don’t insult him like that.
