Seeing as we have plenty of new feds popping up recently, plus a massive influx of new talent for each of those rosters, the graphics team are most likely going to get a little saturated with orders. What I propose is a means to help everyone to 'help themselves'.
I'm guilty of being one of those people that wants to have 20 different characters in 20 different feds, but I don't want to burden one or two people with my insolence and impatience, and make them do my graphical dirty work. So this thread can help people to make their own signatures, logos, maybe even gifs or such for their characters.
Now I absolutely SUCK at this, so I am hoping for guidance and advise here too. But I am going to teach myself and, hopefully, will be able to contribute as I progress.
I have been toying around with a page called Pixlr (https://pixlr.com/). Basically it's a free version of Photoshop for what I can see. It's helped me learn how to edit photos and create some cool stuff. Photoshop itself is also free for a week to download and try, if you don't already have it.
But yeah, I'll keep updating this with any tips and tricks I learn, and it would be great if you artistic geniuses amongst us could pop in your two cents too.

It's essentially Photoshop, with some drawbacks. I'm no Pro, but when it came to making memes it did a good job! So I'd imagine it works pretty well for sigs and logos. I'm gonna do some more 'experimenting' later (aka do nothing in work and play with images all day).

Oh it's great for memes. I made my sig in Pixlr!
....Well, the original version anyway

As an aside, gimp is also essentially a free Photoshop. A lot swear by it. I'm old and stuck in my ways, so I went back to Adobe though

OKay so I haven't had any luck finding a graphics guy and I need a few signatures and Fed pictures so what free site is the best for someone who has absolutely no idea of what he is doing

I use gimp. It has a ceiling though as photoshop is still the best program. I make due with it though as it is easiest to do cut with and what not.

It just can't do what photoshop does. It can come close, but photoshop allows you more freedom. I actually have both, but am just more comfortable with using gimp and at this point it is quicker and easier for me.

Just that Photoshop has a slight edge on it, but with it costing money and gimp being free, it's down to what you want to spend. The best thing to do is choose a program and just start fooling around with it. Mess with filters, settings etc and see what you like. Just remember it's ctrl+z to undo your last mistake

Exactly. The one I just put on was an edit from my old one...about 15 minutes. But it takes a ton of practice to learn about it. Best thing you can do is download whichwver program you want and Google how to do things with it.

Give it a go. You might not be amazing off the bat, but you'll only get better.

As a note, I'm always up for people who want to do the monthly layout to give it a try- we give an A for effort
