I would drop one of the shows, then spin off a european based show/fed under the wcw name as its well known. Have wcw get tv deals in europe, perhaps a couple of ppv per year. That way you have the illusion of two feds, the illusion of an alternative, but owned by wwe. I would possibly have seperate booking team and head of creative to give it a different feel. I could totes get behind this; then just fill in the blanks with shows from each separate roster until there's wrestling on every day

The Beast vs The Man:
So the idea is this. For one of the filler PPVs going into Wrestlemania, instead of wasting a title match that you know won't have an ending, Raw decides to challenge Smackdown. Brock vs any of their superstars. Paul plays it up as Goliath vs any scrub because seriously Smackdown is looking bad right now. Who can Smackdown send?
So over a couple weeks we see Paige meeting with different superstars, the champ, Big Show, making calls for legends ect. Finally she reaches a decision and brings the whole Smackdown roster out.
Paige: Going on to face Brock Lesnar, the Universal Champion, is our own illustrious champion....
*The WWE Champ starts to walk forwa-*
Paige: BECKY LYNCH!
Everyone is shocked as "The Man" (probably the best gimmick in the last couple years) steps up. And so the war of words stars. Heyman focuses than she's a woman, she focuses that she's the Man. And then they fight, no DQ or something where the rules are out the window.
The first part of the match they try to wrestle and Brock just dominates. He's throwing her around the ring, she can't move his weight, it's a total mismatch.
WEEEEEEELLLLLLL......WELL IT'S THE BIG SHOOOOOW
Big Show and Braun come out to even the odds a bit for Becky, but to everyone's surprise, the women's roster holds them back! This is Becky's fight! Eventually Becky gets opened up (probably the hard way, sorry Becky) and something snaps. The clean wrestling is out the window. Suddenly she's got a chair and opens up on Brock and using every weapon she can get she's beating him. Brock gets her into the ring but she's reversing everything- EVERYTHING, even turning an F-5 into a tornado DDT. She's unhinged.
Now it's an even match, Brock and Becky are going nuts (and we've seen that Brock apparently can still put on a good match when he wants to). They're pulling out everything, at one point Brock even lands a shooting star press; which he hasn't done in forever. It's a bloody, violent brawl. There's very few pin attempts (because she's like half Brock's size).
Conner McGregor runs out to help Becky- but she's completely in bezerk mode and attacks him thinking it's Brock. Probably hitting a jawbreaker, that's an easy move for him to sell. Conner rolls back and Brock scoops Becky up, hits the F-5 and gets the pin and gets out.
Becky is in the middle of the ring, broken and bloody. The back empties onto the ramp and slowly walks down as refs run to check on her. She's helped to her feet and still celebrates like she won- and she kind of has because doubtless the entire arena is chanting for The Man. Maybe the roster carries her of triumphantly for added emotion
Pluses: Becky Lynch gets 100 overness through a loss. Two titles are protected for Wrestlemania A throw away ppv gets an extremely compelling exhibition match.
Minuses: Intergender match (advertisers don't like men hitting women) Predictable outcome

I like it but imagine what would happen if Brock gave Becky one of those German Suplexes like he did to whichever Singh it was the other week? She might go straight back on the shelf!

I feel like a draw situation would be too much to ask being vs Brock, lol. He's probaly the most protected star they have
But Becky is so good right now isn't she?

So, the news around the water cooler these days is that the WWE is thinking of a Queen of the Ring Tournament. That's stupid- but also good. Why it's stupid: We're literally drowning in tournaments these days in the WWE. Oh and a little something called the May Young Classic which is specifically a woman's tournament. Why it's good: People love tournaments- like we're addicted to them for some reason these days. The MYC focuses on new talent as opposed to anything from the main roster. But the talk gave me another- grander idea.... RETURN OF THE KING (OF THE RING)
During the early days of the Network, Vince tried to resurrect the KoR and it was a horrible failure. But to be fair, so was everything exclusive to streaming at that time. Now people actually watch what WWE forces on them- but not enough. So instead of trying to run it exclusively on the Network; I vote the WWE brings back the King of the Ring PPV. BUT, they do it differently than in the past. #1. Variety to the max. A 16-person tournament is easy math, so among the 4/5 "brands" send 4 representatives from each. 4 from Raw, 4 from Smackdown, 4 from 205 Live (which is breaking away from Raw somewhat), 4 from NXT/NXTUK. NXT gets the shaft a little but it's ok because 1) it's technically a developmental anyway and 2) they don't need to draw interest as much as say 205 does. No champs can participate (since it's about growing the interest in wrestlers). Oh, and women? DO ONE FOR THEM TOO. For women it's easier because you can give both NXT and NXT UK 4 or screw them and give Raw/Smackdown extra- or add legends or something. That's two major 16-person tournaments dominating the airwaves. If you're feeling really ballsy, add in a tag team one too! #2. Everything up front. We already have exclusive content tournaments. And that's fine. But I want to build a ppv and that means put the matches on TV (and the "main" network shows). It's simple, Raw vs Raw on Raw etc. Again, this works well with the math and if they invest time into the matches you can fill up a good chunk of the show with tournament-specific promos and matches and really put eyes on the talent involved. #3. Hype train. WWE is really good at building hype through videos and stuff. It's just that to keep things feeling "legit" they often play it really straight for KoR. Throw that out the window. Backstage attacks, violent matches, crying, insane promos- go all out. Make this tournament rip the roster apart. Brock can take the month off and literally nobody will care because the focus will be on who will win this war. #4. Purpose. Part of KoR's problem has always been a big ole "why?" attached to it. So in-storyline make it voluntary. Like there's a sign-up sheet on all the shows. The people who join the tournament "need" to win for some reason personal to them. Maybe Joe wants a list of people to legally hurt, AJ needs one more accolade, Miz WANTS SOMEONE TO RECOGNIZE HIM OH MY GOSH WHY DOES THIS COMPANY IGNORE ME (his mind), Tony Nese is sick of playing 2nd fiddle, if Drew Gulak wins he becomes co-comissioner of 205 Live. This is part of that hype train; it's a personal struggle for everyone involved. You don't need a title attached to it then, just guys who are shown to have a reason for joining. Have them trickle in on the weeks leading up to the first round matches. It'll make the hokey crown and whatever follows the winner worth it. #5. Big Upsets. WWE is actually good at this part usually. The KoR is about somebody grabbing the brass ring, so along with the guys you expect, give the fans some underdogs to cheer for. Maybe make the finals a David and Goliath with the weak fan favorite who's gotten to the finals through DQ's and lucky count-outs vs the heel you know will win. It's all about telling a story, man. I'm telling you, if WWE invested the effort into a KoR ppv it'd be the 2nd Wrestlemania of the year- and it's a relatively easy format to book with. No need for complex storylines everyone is gonna complain about online. Just a straight-shot with people showing their passion and desire +a couple title matches to sate the casuals.

No need for complex storylines everyone is gonna complain about online. Just a straight-shot with people showing their passion and desire +a couple title matches to sate the casuals. I always loved King of the Ring, it boosted Bret, Owen, Edge and Shamrock. It lit a fire under Stone Cold, HHH, Angle and Brock. It... Alright, it did nothing for Billy Gunn or Mabel. But still, it did more good than bad. I was disappointed when they got rid of it. I'd be happy if they brought it back again. Problem is, when they rebooted it it sucked. They'd need to give it some more "oomph" and make it mean something again, like you said. They'd need to make it part of the Big 4 again. Notice I said Big 4 though, and not Big 5. Having a main PPV in January, April, August and November works because you can spread the build not only across TV but throughout the minor PPVs too. For the purpose of this KotR reboot, MitB counts as a "minor" event despite the ladder matches coming with big stipulations. Maybe you could argue that it's on the way to becoming a major event, and at least it's June placement in the calendar allows some breathing room between big shows. Of course, they COULD go back to holding the MitB at Wrestlemania like they used to but with two matches nowadays that would clog up the Mania card a bit, so keeping the themed PPV makes sense. Instead, I'd scrap Survivor Series. There's not really much of a need for it IMO... I think that the old-school model (we've got a PPV based around team warfare so we're going to put you into random teams) actually works better than the modern format (this is the "ONE TIME A YEAR" that Raw and Smackdown go head to head! Er... Except for the Royal Rumble. And the Greatest Royal Rumble. And Money in the Bank. And the World Cup...) - which is just LIES - Or the other modern format (a group of wrestlers gets annoyed at another group of wrestlers and wouldn't you know it they all form an alliance conveniently close to Survivor Series) which is just lazy booking. "Lazy" (and stupid) is how I would describe all of the booking for most of the themed shows actually. TLC is on the horizon so the Riott Squad come and attack Natalya and Ronda with a table, gee I wonder how THAT is gonna pan out... Heading towards Hell in a Cell and the main event is announced, then they drop the BOMBSHELL that the match is gonna be inside HELL IN THE CELL!!! OMG! WHO WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING!? Sorry, I just hate the very idea behind shows like HitC, Fatal 4 Way, Breaking Point, TLC, recent Survivor Series, etc. Elimination Chamber is alright I guess, I'm sort of on the fence for that one. HitC works best as a singles match, a feud ender, a big stipulation to drop when you need it most and EC works to set up the second Mania title contender at least, so it gets a pass... Just. Still, it would be nice to have the ED match as another big stipulation that can be dropped into those feuds where everybody is arguing about who gets the title shot. So yeah, give Survivor Series the fuck-off and replace it with KotR, a show that (along with RR and MitB) does the "themed PPV" idea WELL. Either have King an Queen tournaments on one card or have two separate (smaller) events if they wanna branch out with more women's events. If they did a separate show for each they could even do a Saturday/Sunday deal in the same building and make it like a Mania/SummerSlam weekend kinda thing to REALLY emphasise that the tournament's mean something. And being held in November is a great opportunity to build it into the start of Mania season, with the winner either earning a title shot at the Rumble, or the number 30 spot (here's a thought - they keep banging on about number 27 being the best number in the Rumble so why do they never offer THAT as a prize?) So WWE, if you're reading this, PLEASE bring back KotR, make it GOOD and also get rid of Hell in a Cell and TLC PPVs thanks.[/div]

Ok now I’m sure WWE have been following us looking for ideas. In my ‘My Player’ career in WWE 2K19 when you get to the bit where you have to make your own belt, I made one with wooden plates. Fast forward a few weeks and look at what just happened on Smackdown... I... kinda like it. I think wood could be the future of titles.

I know right. They missed out the picture of Ric Flair and the bit at the bottom that says “fuck the Miz” but still, they clearly drew inspiration from my game.

Literally just thought of this and wondered what anybody thinks of it. MMA versus Joshi Part ARoyal Rumble: Shayna Baszler enters as a surprise entrant to the rumble and wins it, attacking Carmella (ala Nia attacking Truth) to steal her spot and then eliminating Becky last for the uber heel heat. First Smackdown: Asuka wins a match (probably against Carmella since she gets given a shot for being robbed of her rumble spot) and then gets jumps from behind by Shayna, who - after brutally decimating her, locks in her choke hold to make Asuka pass out. She'll then let go, grab the Smackdown Women's Title and press it against Asuka's face while telling her of how she'll take her Title away. The camera will be in the right place to hear this (similiar to the effect of when Samoa Joe corners Paul Heyman and told him how he'll choke him out before proceeding to do it). Next Smackdown: Shayna won't have a match but instead cuts an interview where she explains why she picked Asuka (who is announced to be unable to show up because of "injuries" she has gotten from Shayna's attack, how she'll take Smackdown to a new era and mentions how what she did to Carmella was simply nothing more than just Last Smackdown before Elimination Chamber: Carmella demands a match against Shayna at Elimination Chamber and she comes out to refuse said challenge...only for a McMahon to come out (probably Stephanie since she has too much of an ego to not throw herself into any hot storyline) and declare that Shayna will put her Title shot on the line against Carmella at Elimination Chamber. Elimination Chamber: Asuka successfully defends her title (probably against Charlotte so she won't fucking have a title match at mania) while Shayna Baszler has her first singles main roster match and, while Carmella does well, she ends up destroying Mella in the end to show how much of a threat she genuinely is. First Smackdown: Asuka and Shayna has an official contract signing. The two trade words before signing the contract. Once signed Shayna tries to attack Asuka but Asuka turns it around and tries to lock in her Asuka Lock, only for Shayna to escape with Asuka standing confidently tall. Second Smackdown: Pick your poison, Asuka picks Charlotte to face Shayna while Shayna picks Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose (hopefully tag champs at this point) in a handicap match. Both Champ and Challenger wins but Shayna attacks Asuka after Asuka's match to leave a message before taking the Title away with her. Third Smackdown: Shayna has an interview to explain that she only took the Title because she's certain that she'll win it at mania and thought that she might as well hold it already. Asuka comes storming out to take her Title back but Shayna leaves. Later on Asuka and Naomi faces off against Shayna and Sonya, with Shayna making Naomi submit. Fourth Smackdown: Asuka and Naomi versus Shayna and Mandy where, during the match, Asuka tries to get her belt back. This causes Shayna to snatch it and run off with the gold, leaving Mandy to be tap out to the Asuka Lock. Fifth Smackdown: Stephanie comes in again (because her ego will be all over the place) to negotiate with Shayna for her to return the Championship to Asuka. In the end Steph gives Shayna the deal of if she hands the belt back she can decide the stipulation at Wrestlemania. Shayna agrees to and, confident because of her MMA skills, make her match with Asuka an Ulitmate Submission match (30 minute ironwoman match with falls only being decided by submissions). However she tries to use the moment to attack Asuka, only for her expect this and fight Shayna off. Sixth Smackdown: Asuka is nowhere to be seen as Shayna has a cocky promo, only to be interupted by Sonya & Mandy, who are pissed off that she abandoned them. This leads to Shayna versus Sonya where, after a close match, Shayna manages to get the victory. Only for Asuka to suddenly crawl out from under the ring and under the ropes to enter the ring (like Sadako crawling out the TV from Ring) in her creepy clown paint, like below Shayna fully freaks out at this and flees the ring before looking back towards the silence Asuka. Last Smackdown before Mania: The two have a MMA style weigh in where Asuka appears in her makeup. Shayna keeps trying to verbally taunt her, pointing out that she isn't afraid of her, but Asuka keeps quiet until finally shouting out something in Japanese at the end as the two press foreheads against each other until people separates them. Wrestlemania: Asuka versus Shayna Baszler. A proper submission war between the two with the half hour ending at 4-4, with quick submissions at the start with the pair choosing to not risk injuring themselves until late on in the match, forcing the tired pair into sudden death where - after more struggles between the two - Asuka finally makes Shayna pass out to her Asuka Lock to successfully defend the Title to the amazement of the crowd in a way that hopefully puts the both of them over.

Since Daniel Bryan is a tree-hugging hippy, I think it would be fitting if he and Rowan did a Dolph and started coming to the ring with no music, no lights, insisted the arena lighting was turned down really low and half the available cameras were turned off, turn off all the LED boards on the stage and around the arena, etc, because he wants to save the planet by reducing energy usage
