Tim Storm: Heel Turn
(Oh and Eli Drake) So for those who aren't watching NWA Power- wait. Are you not watching? It's free on YouTube, is only an hour, and is absolute gold. Go watch that show you loser. Oh my gosh I can't even. Why are we here? Oh yeah, the storyline. Spoilers if you haven't watched any of the show So when Billy Corgin started rebuilding NWA's image he had (I think inherited) Tim Storm as the NWA Worlds Champion. Later Nick Aldis won it from him and then beat him in a rematch. On the first episode of Powerrr, Aldis gave Tim Storm one last shot- but the caveat was that if Storm lost, he couldn't challenge for the title again. Storm lost. And, at over 50, he's thinking of retiring since he's not allowed at the title. Enter Eli Drake. Drake talked Storm down and got him into a tag match, which Storm ate the pin on- making him feel worse. While all this was going on, James Storm (the cowboy from TNA) is the National champion and wants Aldis. Drake re-iterated the NWA rule that the National Championship makes you the de-facto #1 contender- and later it was explained in commentary that if the National Champion wins the NWA Worlds Championship, he relinquishes it (something WWE should probably do in those title vs title matches). But then Drake, putting his fingers in every pie, negotiates a 6-man tag match, whereby if James Storm's team won, he'd get his Worlds Title match, but if Aldis' team won, Colt Cabana would get a shot at the National title. Aldis' team won and Cabana is now National champ. Meanwhile, Tim Storm almost quit again and acknowledged that he has no intention to break the rules and use politics to get into the Worlds title scene. BUT, Aldis came out to tell him not to listen to Drake and that "anything can happen." This is a little bit of a switch because it seemed like Eli Drake was on Tim Storm's side. But what if he isn't? And what if Tim Storm is about to get really played? When Drake came into the show he right away said he was there for titles like everyone else; but he hasn't actually made any claim to the titles. Instead, he's pitting everyone against each other. What I'm thinking is that he's got a complicated plan to get the World's title. Out of all the people named so far, who's probably the easiest to beat? 50 year old Tim Storm. Storm has proven he'll do anything to get the title, including hitting a low blow in the title match despite both him and Aldis being booked as faces. In the National title scene, who's more likely to get fooled by a wily old man who seems harmless? Nice guy Colt Cabana. What I'm thinking is that Drake pushes Tim Storm to not go directly at the Worlds Championship again (as per the rules of his last title shot)- BUT- reminds him that the National title holder is an instant contender. Storm and Cabana have a friendly feud before...HEEL TURN during the match. Storm shows a new edge and takes the National Title off Cabana (probably at the PPV). Meanwhile, with Cabana busy with Storm in the lead up, Drake gets his first shot at Aldis at the PPV. Since anyway, Colt sort of owes him a favor (had James Storm won he'd also have owed Eli Drake a favor). Win or lose for Drake, the next #1 Contender is Tim Storm (but assuming Drake loses)- Drake helps heel storm beat Aldis and wait- now who owes Drake a favor AND title shot? Tim Storm. Played, the old man goes out on his back, Eli Drake has gotten everything he wanted and Aldis who's been screaming not to trust Drake all along is set up for Aldis/Drake II and the redemption of Tim Storm. Like this title situation is such a knot and it's hard to know who's the trustworthy guy, watch NWA Power guys, it's top notch

The Rush So this isn't a specific storyline, but an idea that might kill a couple (few) birds with one stone. So a solid midcard guy comes out and talks about never getting his shot, deserving more, demanding opportunity, etc etc. Out comes the authority figure. They are sympathetic though at the same time demand some evidence that the guy deserves a world title opportunity (and that main event break). So they institute a new weekly segment called "The Rush." It's a 4-5 vs 1 gauntlet match. If the 1 guy wins, he gets a world title shot. If he doesn't, the guy who beat him runs the gauntlet next week with the same stipulation. The opponents are "random" (like think spinning wheel on the tron or something), but really just whoever doesn't have something else going on that week (+possible legends for one-offs). The idea is that theoretically the 1 guy is going to get at least 2-3 of the matches won, even if he doesn't go the whole way he gets a big spotlight on him going forward (plus promo time because obviously you gotta rp for a match like that, lol). And the other guys in the match are getting airtime + likely one of them is going to win and get that spotlight the next week. So the benefits: -Fun gimmick match every show (probably best for RAW since it's way too long) -Spotlight a midcarder and see how he handles it -Getting the roster out in the ring constantly -Gives the veneer of handing out more opportunities to the stars Eh? Eh? What a rush, yeah?

Eh? What a rush, yeah? This sounds like something I could see Nakamura or KO doing. And to finish the angle off, you have Naka/KO lose a few weeks in, give a few wins to some heels like Gable, Omos or one of the Judgment Day boys, then a few weeks later during the final match to decide who goes to the PPV, the babyface who instigated the whole thing is a surprise entrant and ends up winning the series.

Idea:
Finn Balor & Damien Priest take on the Bloodline Tag Team Champions, as Judgement Day is pushing to knock off the Bloodline.
As Balor and Priest fail to capture the gold, they take their redemption out each week by taking out one member of the Bloodline starting with Solo Sikoa.
Roman lays out Dominik during his attempt to interfere in a championship match and this is when we have Balor and Priest attack Roman; Usos come out, and the whole brawl pushes us off the TV set of RAW.
Next show, Balor challenges the Usos to a title match. If they lose, the Judgement day will not fight for the belts again. Usos agree but only after they find out Sami Zayn has been taken hostage by the Judgement Day. Solo returns and wants revenge, but is told by the Bloodline to know his place and fall in line.
During the tag match we see Judgement Day use every trick to try and win but it seems for nought. They lose by double count out, and the titles stay with the Usos. The Bloodline come to the ring and beat the pulp out of Balor and Priest, along with Dominik - before Rhea comes out and the lights go out.
RANDY ORTON - Appears as the true leader of the Judgement Day. He RKO’s Roman and Rhea takes out Solo, before the RKO fest hits on every one and the Bloodline is seen at the feet of the Judgement Day as the show ends.
Randy Orton Vs Roman Reigns for the title. Sets up Balor to get a push as he will be the next in line after Orton loses. Balor takes on Roman who is hurt, the following show, and wins a shot at the title the next PPv. This is where Orton and Balor have a series of segments showing the two as mentor and student.

Rough Men's Royal Rumble Idea(s, though they all could happen and not prevent the others from happening):
-Have Cody Rhodes come out as number one, since everyone knows that he is returning in this match, and have Seth Rollins come as number two -Austin Theory enters at five, after Cody and Seth tires themselves out eliminating three and four, and does beats the up and showboats a lot...until Matt Cardona enters at six and eliminates him...then, lets say around the 12-13 mark, Theory sneaks back in to cost Matt the match and lead to a US Title match between the two at Mania -Have Gunther get the most eliminations in this rumble before getting eliminated by AJ Styles so there can be an Imperium vs OC feud to Mania (with Gunther vs. Styles at Mania) -Have Jay White vs Hikuleo loser leave Japan match happen before the Rumble so the loser can instantly enter this rumble as the famed number twenty-seven and even make it to the final four -Cody and Seth are the final two and have a 5-10 minute singles match before Cody eliminates Rollins so he can go after the WWE Title, the very belt he said he came back for the RAW after last year's Wrestlemania

Literally just thought of these while talking to my mate
=
Fantasy booking wise (for the men): -I'd have Roman start of the Rumble PPV via defending his titles against Rollins and Lesnar in a triple threat instead with Roman and Seth pinning Lesnar at the same time (like Taker and Kane did with Austin) to cause drama over the title situation... -Later in the night Adam Pearce declares that the two titles will be separate so Seth holds the WWE Title while Roman keeps the Universal one (so his mega reign with it doesn't end) -Have Cody win the Rumble -Cody goes after the WWE Title (the title be declared wanting to win as his reason for returning to WWE last year) so Seth vs Cody can happen at Mania -Roman vs. Sami Zayn happen at Elimination Chamber (Sami's hometown & I think it is basically all but on-screen confirmed) but Roman uses Bloodline, though they are all reluctant, to retain -Leading up to mania Roman gets paranoid about Zayn and decides he'll have to run a gauntlet for another shot...he barely, like bloody lucky barely, beats Solo (possibly KO causing Solo to get counted out or DQed or something) before Jimmy and Jey comes out -Usos forfeit against Zayn down to their friendship (thus breaking from the Bloodline as well) -Zayn ends Roman's reigns...only for Kevin to go all NXT debut on him afterwards by first celebrating with his best mate and then attacking him (that way Roman can disappear for a while as well)
Fantasy booking wise (for women): -Sonya faces Charlotte at the Rumble and, with Toxic Attraction's help, beats her for the title (stop making my dear Sonya lose to literally everyone and their dog for god's sake >.<) -Bianca beats Bliss (nothing against Alexa but the current her feels like she is going to be a genuine Wyatt lackey and she deserves better than that) -Io and Dakota (I think are the Tag Champs) face Shotzi and Tegan Nox (the duo that I thought had a tag title shot before splitting out of nowhere) and win down to Xia Li (which could lead to a low/midcard feud between Xia and Tegan that ends at Mania)* -Bitter Charlotte steals someone's spot in the rumble and makes it to final two before being absolutely stomped for a few minutes before being dumped out by Rhea (literally write Charlotte outta there since Rhea needs something to finally get something back against Miss Golden Shovel) -Rhea picks to face Bianca at Mania -On the first Smackdown Sonya welcomes Toxic Attraction...only for grumpy Adam Pearce to come out (since he unfairly hates poor Mary) and managed to negotiate a deal where Sonya's teammates get a tag title shot at Elimination Chamber...but Sonya must defend against Bayley in return -At Elimination Chamber Sonya helps her new friends win the Tag Titles, believing that they'll help her in return against Bayley -Instead they no-show so Sonya is forced to face Bayley on her own...to which manages to overcome Bayley in a surprisingly clean fashion -Only for Toxic Attraction to attack Sonya afterwards as jumping over the barricade, to be welcomed by her friends, is Mandy Rose -First Smackdown afterwards Mandy Rose reveal that the whole helping Sonya thing, as well as the Elimination Chamber deal with Adam (which they did secretly), was all a plot to not only bring Mandy back but to get her a shot at who they think would be a "paper Champion" -Sonya vs Mandy at Wrestlemania (since I for one thought their Summerslam match years ago was surprisingly good and more than happy to see it again with a more improved Mandy)
* - alternative booking idea for Tegan Nox: -Imperium were the ones who attacked Sheamus and Drew backstage on Smackdown (instead of the Viking Raiders) so Butch and Bridge Holland vow vengeance during the Rumble -Bridge somehow gets an elimination on Gunther during the rumble and Gunther...snaps. Imperium proper assault him (think a 3 on 1 version of Taker battering Maven around the arena during the rumble that Maven eliminated him) that ends with them with on repeatedly smashing a car door on Holland's head, effectively taken him out completely -Sheamus, Drew and Butch declare a desire of revenge as they fight against Imperium leading up to Elimination Chamber -At Elimination Chamber an actual elimination chamber match between all six for Gunther's IC Title, which ends with Drew vs. Gunther -But Jinny (Gunther's wife) somehow finds a way in and cost Drew the match -The next Smackdon, deciding that he is dunne at being at a disadvantage against Imperium Butch say that they need to become a kingdom, an United Kingdom, before heading off -He completely disappears so the follwing few Smackdowns Sheamus and Drew try to fight off Imperium but the numbers become too great -The Smackdown just before Wresltemania Butch returns to help Drew and Sheamus...but with a friend as he and Tegan Nox jump out from the crowd to attack Gunther and Jinny respectively -At mania its Imperium (including Jinny) vs. United Kingdom (Sheamus [Ireland], Drew [Scotland], Butch [England] & Tegan [Wales]) in an intergender (or mixed) 8 person tag for the IC Title
