I really like Drug Church's sort of vintage hardcore sound. They harken back to Kid Dynamite to me, but also kind of put me in mind of Lifetime and Jawbreaker. I don't like to ramble on incessantly about what bands remind me of, so I'll quit there. This video is very well done, fun, and sexy even. Lots of witch imagery in a type of cinematography that reminds me of recent horror flicks like It Follows.
Very good tune, love their style. I'm not trying to "win" here though. I just like sharing music.

Look at Shaggy! not only joining our game but on top of that!
Completely cutting in line and taking Slainmaker’s spot!
Looks like we got the heel of our group, guys!
Haha, good to have you man. I’ll listen to this tonight, I’m just out the door unfortunately, and Slainmaker, post your vid too, we can definitely do two a day and probably will in the future if we get more guys.
I suspect I’ll like this one. Two school girls on a public bathroom floor? I usually have to pay a subscription to see that.

First song! Wooooo! My fave band of all time! THE HOLD STEADY! Name of the song is the Entitlement Crew. What can I say about this song. I love the church organ fills. (Their organ player left the band a while back but has since returned. He’s the star of the show in terms of melody instrumentals.) I love this song about loneliness and looking back at the past and at a girl with equal parts heartbreaking sadness and joy. You treasure those memories, you treasure those people, and while it kills you that things have changed, your heart leaps that you had that time in your life. This song switches back and forth from clever rhyming about the memories (tequila take off/tecate landing/sorry about the centerpiece/thanks for understanding!) to failures to meet the rhyme scheme due to the above mentioned loneliness (If I knew where she was living now!) or, (Nothing I could do about it!) One of my fave lyrics from this one is the smile you can audibly pick up on when Craig says, “You liked that song too! I know that you do! I saw you mouthing all the words when you thought I wasn’t watching you!” It’s a powerful song. I think. And it’s my first choice for our XHF MTV Countdown. I kinda dig this. The vocals are... unique to put it nicely i guess. They are something i think i could get used to after listing to a while though. I like the instrumentals though they are quiet nice. Oh and... i'm totally in! So... you want music with in this year or can it be just like... 2010-present? Also when's my day!? also also! cool idea my guy!

Argh, I've just picked up on this being for new music. I don't know any of that Take your time. Go to Billboard, go to iTunes. Look at genres you like. Flick through the top ten, usually they give a bite of the music, if not the whole song. Look for something that interests you and check it out on youtube. If you really like it you can buy it later. There’s no rush, you dont’ have to post on here every week. But these days? The doors are wide open! Somebody out there, somewhere is doing the music you like with the opportunity they would never have gotten a decade ago. It’s a great time to love music man. Wooooo!

I just like sharing music. I like the lyrics and the music. Like my band in this thread, their lead singer doesn’t have a great voice. Haha. But that’s okay if you’re doing something with the music and lyrics. The bass player really jumps at me here. The video is extremely well done and stylish. Are you kidding me!? Those girls have style! Hell yes, accesserise your thigh! Eveyrone should be doing this! Why isn’t everyone doing this! Hot witch craft school girls fucking with the cute jock. Rock and Roll, man. I have to go look at the lyrics to this to really enjoy it, on account of the singer not really being able to overcome the music, (Probably a production choice. ) And I will do that. Drug Church (great name) seems like a band I can get into.

Fuck, I wanna learn how to play this Drug Church song. It sounds so easy and it’s so kick ass.
Tempting.
Also when that bass player is doing his thing and the power chord jumps in and reverberates ... That’s a cool “band” moment. You can‘t do that sound with one guy. And for me that’s what was always fun about music, being a part of a group. Making something together. That power chord/line combo ... man. That’s cool.

BTW, I’d want other people to weigh in and come to a consensus.
But I’m okay with people using older songs as long as it’s not an obvious classic like “Enter Sandman.” Or Stairway to Heaven.
Like, as long as you’re sure most people haven’t heard of it.
But it’s your call guys. Let the majority decide!

EDIT: How do I display the video itself and not the link? I’m not a big fan of this song. The video was awesome. The lyrics have a cool message but from the stand point of composition or having lyrics and/or a melody that really stands out, I just don’t hear a song here. I’m actually surprised it made it on the album, let alone became a singe. I’m shocked that this is foo fighters song. I expect more of them on account of they’ve had a lot of solid hits in the past. (I like Long Road to Ruin.) But it’s not a total loss. We saw Titties, guys! Woooooo!!! Titties!

BTW, Dylan, what I do is? I do this:
And then put the link in between those two brackets.
But you only need part of the link. So if you take the link from your video? YOu only need the bit that says iwfc5xgi3qm ...
I don’t know why, but that’s the only part of the link you need to insert in there.
