Should I have? I'm not sure I'm aware how this works. I thought we took turns by week.
I can post now if you'd like.

You can Kuroi, BUT YOU WON'T.
It's Monday my end of the world so here I go. If I think super-hard on these I'll take forever so here's some Venetian Snares. His output is prolific, super-varied and his gimmick is he never uses 4/4. Didn't really know how to pick out a track (he's got some really stupid stuff that made me think of Mad Dog) but here is one that I've listened to a ton and admired how it so consistently builds up tension.

How the hell did these 7 minutes go by so fast? also this is... kinda cool, but kinda not my jams either. I'm not big on instrumentals though, except like some game music and by that i mean like hand full of games/series,lol. it's ok for the right people i guess though, but not my cup of tea.

I love Lorde, ya,ya,ya!
This is a cool song. It’s a dance song, which I think is a genre of music that gets shit on too much. The Same principles apply to making a good dance song that apply to making any song that’s good. To illustrate, this is a live acoustic vevo performance of this song, “Supercut.”
A simple song, perhaps too simple that could have done with another bridge or a solo here or there.
All the same, effective, and I like the changes in urgency and intensity in the vocals.
As we go back and forth from plesent rememberance -(admittedly leaving out all the bad in the relationship) to focus on the super cut, the good stuff - and regret. Knowing you did something wrong and didn’t handle it all the right way.
Also pay close attention to Lorde’s awesome rock shapes. That’s how it’s done people ...

FACT: After all this time I've only just realised that Lorde and Lordi are different things.

Oh today was my day wasn't it? EDIT: I pressed the wrong button, here's my song BTW. This song is called Dead Tree and is by Dir En Grey. The singer for this band is the real life Kira too, just a fun fact to throw in there. I really like this song, but like the other band i had shared last week, i love everything from this band. This song i think shows a great mix and range from everyone as well. I really like the video and how it changes from calm to chaotic and the expressions from Kyo in this when he screams and cuts. Oh and subs are for this song by turning on CC. PS this last bit relates to Mad Dog's last song... This is a pretty nice song, i didn't know this was the royals lady, i like that song too. I like the emotion you can see in the performers too. The lyrics are... kinda good, yet kinda not at the same time if that makes sense.... not that bad though.

Sorry I forgot to respond to this. I’m not big on instrumentals. Even really intricate stuff bores me. So I’m probably the worse guy to comment on this. But I know how people who love instrumentals feel. It’s kind of like my love of Eric Young’s title reign in TNA. It was awesome. but nobody knows it. Analytically, it was one of the best jobs in storytelling and drama that TNA ever did, but it was universally panned. No doubt Slain probably feels like I do, “How can nobody enjoy this masterwork!” It’s not fair dammit! EY did a great job! Abyss did a great job! That storyline was magic! ... what was I talking about? Oh yeah, instrumentals. I’m not big on ‘em.

Man, that kid straight up used that nuclear explosion to distract that soldier, presumably snap his neck and take his gun. Hardcore. It was okay. Wasn’t really feeling it. Good vocals. Music was a bit generic but capable. Baby carriage turning over creeped me out. But I guess that was the idea.

Dead Tree - Drumming is the hardest job. I mainly notice drummers only when I don't like what they're doing or if they're godlike with little in between. This was an example of the former, but I feel bad for having that opinion because well, poor drummers. A thankless job. I wasn't a fan of the screamed parts. What makes good screaming good? Can you coach it? Was recently listening to the Pixies and they did the quiet > screaming thing great but I guess a pleasing scream is genetics or something. Bad genetics from an evolutionary point of view. Supercut - Good pop. Is it me or do pop songs have better concepts nowadaysadays? A bit too much focus on the video on the mime which was never going to be 100%. This is Lordi. One of the problems with getting old is that you confuse new music acts with ones you last heard of OVER A DECADE AGO.

AFter the Party. The Menzingers.
These have a couple of good songs.
Really good love song connecting with other people. The lyrics are incredible and in my opinion, well worth checking out on a lyrics site.
The Russian doll thing really got me.
The video itself is pure magic. Absolutely great performance by the actors, director, writer and whoever did the storyboards. The perfect video for the song.
